A word from Bricco
Bricco’s star has been rising steadily since restaurateur Frank DePasquale revamped the menu to feature modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes.

Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.

The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.

Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with a full dinner menu.
Open 7 days a week 11:oopm – 2:00 a.m.

Took a colleague to dinner while visiting on business and this was recommended by one of our local guys...who was eating at Bricco's that night as well but with a date. The service was perfect...not intrusive, very knowledgeable, everything was well timed...never felt rushed, never felt abandoned, food appeared about the time you started to think about wanting it. Rarely do I just go with what the waiter recommends but other than selecting my own wine, the specials sounded fantastic from the salad to the entree and they were. The portions were perfect, I like to eat all the different courses in a meal...not get filled up by my app...I will return and would recommend Bricco's for any purpose.

Located in Boston's little Italy section the street scene is busy and vibrant. We settled on some of their homemade pasta's which was very good. Authentic Italian food with a solid traditional menu.

Even at 7:15 the restaurant was very busy, but we were seated only a couple of minutes late. Our server was very personable and friendly. We split the Frittura Mista - the best calamari ever- very fresh!! The Pappardelle Al Cinghiale was very hearty and the pasta special was delicious. The atmosphere is quite loud, but you get used to it soon enough. The Bread Pudding was a little dry for my taste, and the Apricot Ricotta Cheese Cake was not my husband's favorite. We would certainly return to Bricco for the appetizers and the homemade pasta dishes and maybe skip dessert.

We celebrated my mother's 70th birthday this past Saturday with a walk around Boston and a dinner at Bricco in the North End. The restaurant had come highly recommended and it did not disappoint! Six of us split 3 appetizers and 3 pastas - each more delicious than the last. Main dishes were just as delicious - not a compliant in the bunch. Service also makes a meal and it was also perfect - Salvatore was extremely professional while being engaging, fun and interested in ensuring our whole group had a great time. At one point my son dropped a fork on the floor - quietly - and within 10 seconds someone in a suit came over to replace it. Mom my said overall it was one of the best meal experiences she had ever had. We will be going again.

Good food but eat later, too busy at peak times, very crowded. Staff are great, chicken was just ok, bone in, would prefer more chix options. Wine menu extensive and wonderful. We were disappointed pizza only available after 11, please reconsider offering earlier, it is amazing pizza! Overall very good, slight menu changes recommended!

Four of us went to dinner here. The menu includes a lot of interesting choices not just your standard Italian fair. All our food was very good. The wine list is excellent with many well priced selections under $100. It was a bit noisy but we had a good time and will return.

I have been at Bricco's repeatedly over the last several years. I love the restaurant, its food and its atmosphere. Unfortunetly, the quality of the food was unexpectedly disappointing this time. We were a party of 3 with 3 different meals, and only one (veal) was very good, while one (pork) was overcooked and one (duck) was tough as leather.

Bricco is nice spot in the North End. Food is good, although portions are limited. This is NOT the place to go for a big plate of grandma's spaghetti. VERY pricey for the food. Would recommend for others to try, but wont be back myself, too many other spots with more reasonable prices and healthier portions.

My sister, niece and aunt came up from PA. They wanted seafood during their stay but agreed one night should be different fare. They suggested Italian, and immediately I chose Bricco. You can't lose in the charming North End, but Bricco is very special. It was Friday night and packed, which gave a good impression to them that this place was special. I had read complaints about the noise level at Bricco, but really it was fine. Energetic was they way it really was. The food was wonderful. My biggest disappointment wasn't from Bricco, but from my family, as they all ordered light pasta dishes when I think they would've loved some of the Secondi dishes. The waiter was ok, but didn't make any connection with us. We didn't even learn his name.

An Italian restaurant with great sense if style, this is the whole package.Cozy, charming contemporary style & amazing food. The wine suggestion was the first indication of what was to come.A Napa Valley 2008 Cab that I will try to buy a case of if I can find it. It was hard to pick from a varied menu. My grilled octopus appetizer was superb & the sea bass fabulous.I tried the ossobuco & found it delightful. Tiramisu was really good. Outstanding service & a constant desire to make the meal & evening remarkabke made the experience unforgettable. The North End is a special place made better by this restaurant. Will return when I come back to Boston.

We were quite excited to be going to Bricco's after a friend so highly recommended it. We loved the paneteria and cheese shops; the breads and cheeses purchased were superb. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately despite the crowdedness ,at a nice table. Drinks were excellent, appetizers were very good but the entrees were disappointing. The pork chop was tough and overdone, the striped sea bass was too salty. Risotto was reported as good. Desserts were a disappointment except for the cheese plate. After going to Il Buco in NY many times, we were expecting a similar experience and equally as delicious food but left disappointed by both at Bricco. Things were very rushed once seated.

I could forgive bringing gnocchi instead of "Big Night" Timpano pasta & meatballs, even after my husband was corrected on the pronunciation. What was enexcuseable was asking for another card after handing our AMEX Open Table card valued at $100.00 & our AMEX credit card for a 134.00 bill to have him say the Open Table card was declined. He apparently did not want to ring up $34.00 separately. So I called AMEX from the table and was told exactly what I already knew, that the card was in fact still valued at $100.00. I told the waiter just that and he went back and did whatever he should have done the first time. He did not offer a thing other than a flustered half attempt at an apology.

We have been known to return to Bricco on successive nights. The noise, though, has gotten so horrific that we will not go back. On Wednesday evening, even a waiter named Cesare was so raucous that it was impossible to hold a conversation when he was nearby, apparently believing that he was supposed to entertain adjacent tables. The food remains very, very good, but is almost besides the point.

Wanted to add 1 person to our party of 6 for dinner. Our table included booth type seating and we were more than happy to squeeze in but the person seating us and the person on the phone that I spoke with an hour before our reservation absolutely refused saying it would infringe on the other diners. Zucchini flowers were so average. The food was delicious, although I felt the risotto was on the cheesy side even for an Italian restaurant. The wine selection was lovely and I recommend their coffee - it comes with a little piece of biscotti. The brew was delicious, the perfect roast. We were seated upstairs next to the cash register but didn't feel disruptive even though they servers dropped dishes twice while we were there - guess it was a very busy night!

A small but terrific place in Boston's Northend. Nice broad selection of dishes. We chose to split appetizer, main course and dessert and had plenty to eat. After coming to Bricco back in June and having an absolutely amazing experience, we've come back many times and it's actually become one of our favorite restaurants in Boston. When my brother and sister-in-law came in town it was the first place we thought of to take them. However, we were quite disappointed by our service. Cesare D. Had little interest in our table from the get-go, and didn't check in but once during the whole meal. While the other wait staff did a great job of filling drinks and checking in, Cesare was nowhere to be found. All-in-all, our most recent experience is not what we expected from Bricco, and we were very disappointed given our love of the restaurant, food and the previous service we've received.
