Bricco’s star has been rising steadily since restaurateur Frank DePasquale revamped the menu to feature modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes.

The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.

  • "There were 4 of us and we had 2 orders of the fried zucchini flowers to share as appetizers. They were a big hit. My wife had the pumpkin tortelli and was not disappointed. I had the Ahi Tuna which was cooked perfectly and with a beautiful presentation. Only complaint and the table and it was a mild one was a salmon dish with a sugary glaze, but our friend took the blame for not paying enough attention to the description of the preparation. He does not like sweet, sugary glazes. The service was outstanding and a wine list to go with it. This was my 3rd visit and it is one of the must "go to places" whenever I find my self in Boston."

  • "This was my third visit to Bricco. Unlike before, when we were seated on the second floor, this time we got a small table for two on the first floor right next to the bar, where the noise level was extremely high. Also, the neighbor table was so close that I had the impression we were sitting at the same table with the neighbor couple. There was little to no privacy and due to the noise level, it was difficult to have a conversation. The food (Agnollotti al Plin) was okay, certainly nothing outstanding and from my perspective over-prized for the quality. I will not return to the restaurant - at least not for a while."

My date had a basil and Hendricks Gin martini and I had an Aperol Spritz. Both were delicious. We chose 3 appetizers and all were outstanding with our favorite being the fried squash blossoms which were stuffed with truffled riccotta. a great North End experience!"

  • "My wife and I had a rare night at a hotel in Cambridge and chose the North End for its variety of great restaurant choices. We had not visited the neighborhood in several years, so we thought it was time. Bricco stood out for its menu, and the fact that a 1000 point table was available when we were (though for some fascist reason, we only received 100 points on the Open Table mobile app, not sure why). No matter the points, our experience was amazing! We started with a just right Insalate Mista, a nice portion to share with delicious peach flavors. My wife loved the Papparadelle al Cinghiale, which was hearty and very tasty. For me, the whole roasted Branzino was a work of art, absolutely delicious. The cannoli were excellent as well!"

  • "This is one of the "classiest" north end restaurants. Service was excellent. Food was outstanding - I had the seafood stew medley and my wife had the salmon - we both enjoyed immensely. Waitress and hostess were both very personable and accommodating. Atmosphere a little noisy but that is what the north end is all about. You can dress up or dress down to come here. Great for special occasions as well. We will be back!"

  • "Coming from New York whet great restaurants are easy fo find this stands out! Our server Casey was not only terrific she knew the exact food preparation like she cooked it...very impressive. Even more impressive was the food, the SAUTÉD OCTOPUS is not to be missed, the ROCOTTA PUFFS were not what I expected but none the less a very pleasant surprise and the SEARED AHI TUNA for an Italian restaurant was off the charts!! We were in Boston for a company conference and only had one night free, we certainly chose the best restaurant there. Will definitely return."

Our server, Wolmar, also did a great job from recommendations for food to a new wine. He even went out his way during the busy times to give us the label from the bottle.   • "I lived in the North End in my early 20's and couldn't afford to eat at Bricco, but heard how amazing it was. Finally made it down as an "adult" and now I know what everyone was talking about. The staff all look like models and they were so friendly. The waitress suggested the short ribs, which officially are the greatest short ribs I've ever eaten in my life. Will be back soon."

  • "After reading glowing reviews about this place, I can only wonder as a visitor to Boston, if this is what is considered good Italian food in the area? Any establishment can have an off night and maybe this was one of them, but while fine in every other aspect, the food we experienced at Bricco was simply not good. Salad that was leaves of various lettuces thrown in a bowl with a sprinkling of dressing, pasta that was both tasteless AND chewy (NOT al dente, chewy as in hasn't been fresh for a while), chicken that was beyond average.The saving grace of the entire meal was the French fries, which were amazing. The lack of pride in what is coming out of the kitchen here should be addressed. Won't be back/won't recommend."

  • "Our group of four had a delighful dinner. The food was delicious - from salads (caprese w/buffalo mozarella) to entrees, through desert (try the bread pudding!). The service was prompt and non-intrusive. Very efficient valet service for $20 right outside their front door. We even left our car there after dinner to attend a concert at the TD Garden - no probelm at all. Try Briccos, you will not be disappointed."
