Diner Reviews
  • "We had our aniversary dinner at Bricco and everything was perfect. The food was incredibly delicious and they were willing to to change menu items to suit our needs. The service was amazing. Our waitor was very knowledgible of the menu and helpful with suggestions for our meals. I wish our table was a little more private but the atmosphere was still nice. Overall it was a wonderfil anniversary dinner."

  • "We had dinner here with a party of 4. The service was there for you at all times all questions were answered on the spot the food was very good and prepared just right. Some in our party thought the serving size was small and the table for 4 could have been bigger. Over all it was a nice experience ."

  • "I did not expect the lobster and shrimp bisque to be pureed, although the flavor was good. The salad was overwhelmed with too many beets and dressing, causing the greens to be wilted. I dine here somewhat regularly, and for the first time I sent the plate back after taking only a few bites. The server was very nice about it. I did not order another dish."

  • "I'm not going to write a long review here. Suffice it to say, from cocktails to coffee, Bricco never disappoints."

  • "The decor is tasteful and artful. We had the Lobster and Shrimp Bisque soup and it was so creamy and flavorful. Ordered one of the Specials, beef tips and shrimp w/veggies and polenta. Great combination of flavors and plentiful. My son ordered the thin crusted pizza and he did not leave a crumb. Our waiter, Shawn, was attentive and patient. Our only disappointment was the dessert. We ordered Tiramisu and we could not eat it. It was extremely sweet and not creamy. Quite a different take on the traditional Tiramisu. Our waiter offered to remove it from our bill and inquired if we would like a different dessert. I would highly recommend Briccos and look forward to returning."

  • "Picking restaurants from location to events is tricky. You hope their food is good. My friend was hesitant to try a place she never heard of but I thought the online reviews looked great. So I pushed her to be adventurous. We made reservations but unusual traffic issues made is late. The staff was very understanding and courteous. Fortunately we were still ahead of their rush. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Don't be afraid to ask them anything. My appetizer was presented with flair. The tastes of everything was authentic, fresh, and wonderful to my palette. As we were actually attending an event , they made every effort to get us there in time. We loved every bite. Will go again."

  • "The polenta board with a daily ragu - Italian comfort food at its best. Partner had Asparagus ravioli and was equally impressed. We keep returning and are always very happy we do."

  • "Very happy experience! Went with a small group for a birthday celebration, and it was the perfect "fancier" birthday dinner! Highlights for me were the brussel sprouts and polenta meatball board. Our waiter (Dean, I believe?) was the best! Always attentive and checking on us, filling up our wine, bread, and water, but not hovering. Everyone at my table loved their meals. Thanks, Bricco. We will surely be back!"

  • "We were celebrating my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and had my 10 year old in tow. Everyone was satisfied with great appetizers, entrees, wine, etc. Our waiter was excellent and having made the reservation on Open Table, was able to indicate that we were celebrating. Our waiter brought us a complementary sampling of desserts. Highly recommend. PS - The list of specials was VAST (and delicious). My 71 year old mother had trouble remembering all of them. :)"

  • "So we compromised and went to Bricco. This is one of our favorite overall restaurants. Food, service and ambiance is always spot on, and we always feel welcome and "at home". His carbonara hit the spot, and my risotto was wonderful. Bradley, our server, was friendly, accommodating and anticipated our every need. It's a place we'll sneak in the back door wearing jeans, and come in the front door in a suit or heels. Do you want a great dinner where you don't have to worry about anything? Try Bricco...you'll become a regular fast. And they know that hubby has an allergy, we don't even have to remind them. Peace of mind is wonderful!"

Our table was ready exactly at the time we reserved and were immediately greeted by our server. The food was very good, and the wine and cocktails were great."

  • "Tasteful décor and ambience. The food at this restaurant is always just excellent in terms of quality and taste. You see innovative dishes along side classics. Had a duck ragout pappardelle which was fabulous. They also have a very good wine list. Service is always excellent. Never get tired of coming here."

  • "My friend and I ordered a bunch of small plates and then small portions of pasta dishes as main course to top off. We had to do a double header on Brussels sprouts because it was the most delicious - golden crispy, yet juicy on the inside, with a tangy and sweet sauce that that invites the next bite. Both pasta dishes were good as well, home made pasta. Tiffany was our wait staff and she was the most pleasant. When I expressed that my pasta dish was a little on the salty side, she immediately started a second one with low sodium. It was overall an awesome experience with the food, the service. Who would have thought to find a dining spot like this in Harrisburg? What a surprise to the upside."

  • "This was my first time visiting Bricco. My overall review finds that service was very good, your staff knew their specials and portions were moderate and very filling. My only complaint and not really a complaint was that I felt the price was a little high. "

  • "This is our go to for special occasions. It is always superb and the menu is seasonal, so never gets old. Servers are excellent--one elderly person in our party ordered wine and it was too dry for her so the server encouraged her to try something different, which she would not have done without encouragement. I frequently have the Polenta here--it is always very interesting and tasty--this time it was a venison, onion and mushroom mix--I was stuffed but still wanted to eat more as it was so great, but fortunately, my son was still hungry and polished it off for me--no leftovers here. The tiramisu came in a cool flattish mason jar and was amazing. "

  • "Really good food. We were at Harrisburg for two nights. Have dinner here both nights. Superior to the fancy, highly rated restaurant in Philadelphia we ate earlier in the week. Better food, service, atmosphere and value. "

  • "Order the Brussel sprouts! We loved them so much that we ordered them twice. The ravioli with asparagus was quite good as well. Bricco offers a variety of creative cocktails that appealed to the various tastes in our groups. The server was quite good at directing each diner to find something that suited her taste. "

  • "Great menu, sustainable products especially from Pennsylvania used throughout. Appetizers dynamite. Had a large group 12 and were treated in the most personable way. Everyone raved about the food. Most coming to Harrisburg on a routine basis and were quite impressed. We had much to choose from the specials were fantastic. "

  • "The food was wonderful! Their menu was full of great eclectic options. There were also many specials offered. Honestly, it was hard to choose what to eat because everything sounded enticing. Their wine list was vast and diverse. We had a party of 7 and our waiter did a great job. He was attentive without hovering. We chose Bricco to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. Our experience there was the perfect way to cap off this special day! We look forward returning for another memorable meal."

  • "You never know if this place is going to be full of politicians, or nice and quiet. This visit was quiet and just what we wanted. We always try to find different places to eat when I travel on business and bring my wife along. However, every time we go to Harrisburg she wants this restaurant, and will accept no others. The food was fantastic and well prepared. We both had grouper topped with ramps. Yes, I said ramps. Ramps are one of the first spring greens growing in the forest. We have them in the woods on our farm but had never eaten them. What a treat!!!"

  • "The food is always top notch at Bricco. The two issues I have with it are the price and quantity. It's an expensive place to eat and the portions aren't very big. The menu is limited but there is something on it for everyone. "

  • "The wait staff was amazing. The food was excellent. We would never have known that culinary students prepared the dishes. Gotta get the brussel sprouts!"
