Bricco’s Mediterranean cuisine serves as the gastronomic canvas upon which Pennsylvania products are used to create a culinary masterpiece. Our students gain invaluable experience learning how to source local producers & utilize them as partners in the creation of world class cuisine.
Bricco is a collaboration between the Olewine School of Culinary Arts at Harrisburg Area Community College & Harrisburg Hotel Corporation HACC’s chefs & restaurateurs of the future perfect their skills alongside some of the brightest stars in the industry today.

  • "Have eaten here several times and continue to return as the food is good quality. The special catch (Tilefish) was done nicely over a mushroom risotto. Sweet potatoe ravioli were also good although perhaps the sauce was a little too butteery/oily. Service was good. The only disappointment was the martini; citron vodka in a sugar rimmed glass does not a lemon drop make."

  • "Bricco has been on our list for awhile and we finally visited for my fiancee's birthday. The ambiance is very classy and up-to-date and everyone from the door to the bar to our table was great and extremely professional. Dave was our server and he was EXCELLENT. He had a wonderful knowledge of the menu and made some excellent recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed every course, and the most noteworthy of all the dishes was the brussel sprout appetizer (with siracha & honey), a must-have! Please be sure to visit Bricco, its been our best Harrisburg dining experience and you will not be disappointed!"

  • "My friend and I ate here while at a conference in downtown Harrisburg. We both ended up getting braised short ribs, and the dish was really quite good--tender meat and flavorful. We started with a cheese tray and ended with a tasty bread pudding. Service was good. Recommended!"

  • "Well, taking my pregnant best friend out for her 31st birthday lunch, I must say the food was suburb, but I felt like I was being judged the whole time I was there by our waiter and the help, I'm not sure what a smart casual dress code means . I sappose I was off , jeans hollister shirts , and coach bags are not suitable for lunch at the bricco. In no means am I saying the employees were rude , there is just a certain way that people can make it known they think you shouldn't be there or are good enough to be there. This is not a feeling I want when having lunch with my best friend. I hope this atmosphere can and will change, we live in Harrisburg pa, not NY, NY"

  • "I heard this was the nicest restaurant around but I really had no idea what I was in store for. Both my date and I thought the food and the service was fantastic from start to finish. So much so that this is the first review I've ever written for anything in my life. While I live nowhere near Harrisburg, if I'm ever even remotely in the area I would go out of my way to come back here. I only gave it five stars because I couldn't give it more than five."

  • "If you want to have a meal in downtown Harrisburg, convenient to the hotels, there aren't many choices that fit all of my criteria. This place has great food, an energetic atmosphere and prices that won't break the bank. Everything from very good pizza and creative salads to healthier fish meals and wonderful pasta dishes. The other restaurants downtown in this price range don't compare. And the atmosphere is fun, not foodie snootie."

  • "I took my wife here for her birthday. It was very nice inside and all the staff was great. Our server was very helpful with the menu and the service was very smooth. My wife had the sweet potato ravioli and it was amazing. We will probably go back just for that again. My meal was very good as well. Overall it was a very nice place, great for a special occasion. We will go back again."

  • "The evening started a little off because our table was not ready for almost a half hour, but we waited in the bar which was good. The restaurant was very busy. We were seated in a small alcove near the window which was nice because it isolated us from noise but gave us a view of the street. The food was very good from salads to appetizers to main course. Not much of a selection for vegetarians which is unusual for an Italian menu. Service was very good. Overall we were very satisfied with our experience and would go back again."

  • "I think Bricco's is the best italian restaurant in Harrisburg and the surrounding area. The food is great and the owner has obviously spent a lot of time and money to make it look a certain way and provide a good overall experience. I had a duck ragout and she had lamb. The food was great and I asked the waiter for a glass of champagne on the sweet side. The waiter did an excellent job with the pick and my girlfriend really enjoyed it. Opportunities-They did a good job of picking the table by the window which was nice but the family gathering with a lot of kids ten feet away felt like they had a microphone.Large and potentially loud family gatherings should be offset as much as possible from private and intimate special occasions for two."

Short Ribs and Salmon were cooked perfectly and delicious. The restaurant had a great vibe, buzzing on Saturday night, but still somewhat intimate. Thank you for a fabulous night out!!"

  • "This dinner was a visit to one of our favorites after a Sunday symphony concert. My partner had butternut squash ravioli in brown butter - didn't leave anything on her plate - looked and smelled good, too. I had the 'Polenta of the Day' which today was a tomato ragu with meatballs on top of polenta. It was delicious and was such a large serving that I was the one with a box when we left. A down-home dish reflecting thought in the kitchen. On the dessert menu is now a section of full-size desserts and a section of smaller plates (not shot glasses) of different items from the full size. This is a great idea for those of us who want something, but not a whole lot. Great job again, Bricco."

  • "I am a self proclaimed "foodie" and enjoy trying new places and new foods. Bricco was recommended to me, so I was very excited to finally try out the restaurant. The service was high class and professional. It is a higher priced restaurant for the area, but is well worth the price. To me, the very best part was the food. Everything that we ordered was nothing less than great. I fully enjoyed my meal, wine, oysters and of course the dessert."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed a very good dinner. The only reason for 4 stars for food was my wife's lobster in her dish was chewy, without much flavor. The braised beef I had was outstanding. The appetizer course was superior, as was the salad. A great place for a special occasion. Not cheap, but well within reason for what you get. The service was top notch."

  • "My husband and I went out for a much-needed dinner out. As new parents we were excited to feel and talk like adults again. We have eaten at Bricco before and they did not disappoint. We split some kind of meatball-looking things stuffed with risotto and braised beef...amazing! I even loved the salted butter with my bread. I had the 6oz filet mignon and my husband had the braised spare ribs. We both ate every bite. I was so stuffed that I opted for a 2nd glass of champagne for dessert but the desserts sounded fantastic. I have eaten at Bricco for lunch and dinner and it is always fresh, unique and has great service. I have and will continue to recommend Bricco to friends and family."

  • "Was looking for a trendy spot for a romantic night out and found Bricco using open table. Hidden in the heart of Harrisburg, Bricco offered everything I was looking for. Excellent meals (really like the options for small or full plates), great wine list and relaxing atmosphere. We were there early (which was perfect for me) and soon the place began to pick up a bit, especially for a Monday night. The bar area was very nice. I saw a few take the time to hook up to their tablets and enjoy a meal there. Overall, I really liked this spot and would definitely return again."
