Diner Reviews
  • "This was our second visit to bricco and all was outstanding except the service. Although the service was adequate, the waitress seemed to rush us through our appetizer, meal, and desserts. We ordered a cheese board and the waitress did not tell us what was what...in fact she didn't even review the specials before we ordered. It was a weird experience. Hopefully just a fluke as we really enjoy this place!"

  • "Always something interesting. They always have a number of "healthy options" for all tastes. Most recently we were there for my daughter's birthday with her family which included 9 year old and a 6 month old, and everyone was happy."

  • "Delicious food in a lovely setting. Live nearby, so love the bar and the happy hour bar menu...especially the wonderful pizza, addictive fries and any of the roasted beet offerings !! Always look forward to full dinners...love the Polenta Board, the short ribs and the gelotos. Always a treat to eat at Bricco!!"

  • "We had a wonderful experience at Bricco. We were celebrating our kid's 16th birthday and wanted to try a new restaurant. We decided to go to Bricco and we were not disappointed. From the service, hats off to our waiter Eric, to the exceptional food the experience was by far the best we had at a restaurant in very long time. We all tried something a little different that evening with my son really stepping out of his comfort zone with the "polenta board", overall the presentations were beautiful and of just the right proportion and the wine was out of this world. We had a great time and some fabulous food and look forward to our next visit to Bricco."

  • "We were celebrating our anniversary & it was a great night. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is Amazing! We selected 3 dishes & shared them. The braised short ribs, pasta duck ragout & sage pasta were all delicious. I would return there again just to try other dishes."

  • "Food and service are always exceptional. The server did not have all of the answers regarding one of the specials, he had to return to the kitchen 2 times to get clarification on the cooking process on one of the dishes."

  • "Decided on Bricco for my husband's birthday dinner and we couldn't be more satisfied that I did. Fantastic food and service. Pistachio crusted goat cheese, smoked carrots, perfectly cooked risotto, wonderfully creamy polenta, duck ragu...I could go on. For fine dining the servings were sizable with plenty to take home for yummy leftovers. Drinks were fantastic too. Highly recommend the Don Draper. For a nice evening to celebrate a special occasion definitely check out Bricco. They have pizzas too though too so I wouldn't mind trying them for a more casual gathering."

  • "My husband and I went to Bricco for our 17th Wedding Anniversary. We found it to be eclectic and classy. The wine list was quite extensive and the food was delicious! Our server was very attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu items. We both tried different types of food we normally would not think of trying. We would definitely recommend Bricco to anyone and we will be back!!"

  • "We were looking for a restaurant nearby the Harrisburg Hilton since we arrived at the hotel late on Friday night. Bricco was within walking distance and absolutely delicious. The food was outstanding and so was the service. We started out with the Arancini, Meatballs and Mozzarella, they were all fantastic. Some of the entrees we had were the Garganelli pasta with prosciutto, tomato and vodka sauce, braised beef short ribs, polenta and even pizza. We finished off with a cannoli's. No disappointments at our table, everyone left full and happy, ready to tackle Hershey Park on Saturday. We highly recommend this restaurant for a great Italian meal in Harrisburg, PA."

  • "Very normal ambiance, service was pretty good but not superior, the bread they give you was good but not even close to as good as some that others give you......HOWEVER, the food and drinks were absolutely great! Clams, swordfish, pizza with ricotta, asparagus, and caramelized onions to eat. Drinks were very well made. Will definitely go back for the food!"

  • "We had our aniversary dinner at Bricco and everything was perfect. The food was incredibly delicious and they were willing to to change menu items to suit our needs. The service was amazing. Our waitor was very knowledgible of the menu and helpful with suggestions for our meals. I wish our table was a little more private but the atmosphere was still nice. Overall it was a wonderfil anniversary dinner."

  • "We had dinner here with a party of 4. The service was there for you at all times all questions were answered on the spot the food was very good and prepared just right. Some in our party thought the serving size was small and the table for 4 could have been bigger. Over all it was a nice experience ."

  • "The decor is tasteful and artful. We had the Lobster and Shrimp Bisque soup and it was so creamy and flavorful. Ordered one of the Specials, beef tips and shrimp w/veggies and polenta. Great combination of flavors and plentiful. My son ordered the thin crusted pizza and he did not leave a crumb. Our waiter, Shawn, was attentive and patient. Our only disappointment was the dessert. We ordered Tiramisu and we could not eat it. It was extremely sweet and not creamy. Quite a different take on the traditional Tiramisu. Our waiter offered to remove it from our bill and inquired if we would like a different dessert. I would highly recommend Briccos and look forward to returning."

  • "I did not expect the lobster and shrimp bisque to be pureed, although the flavor was good. The salad was overwhelmed with too many beets and dressing, causing the greens to be wilted. I dine here somewhat regularly, and for the first time I sent the plate back after taking only a few bites. The server was very nice about it. I did not order another dish."

  • "Picking restaurants from location to events is tricky. You hope their food is good. My friend was hesitant to try a place she never heard of but I thought the online reviews looked great. So I pushed her to be adventurous. We made reservations but unusual traffic issues made is late. The staff was very understanding and courteous. Fortunately we were still ahead of their rush. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Don't be afraid to ask them anything. My appetizer was presented with flair. The tastes of everything was authentic, fresh, and wonderful to my palette. As we were actually attending an event , they made every effort to get us there in time. We loved every bite. Will go again."

  • "We were celebrating my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and had my 10 year old in tow. Everyone was satisfied with great appetizers, entrees, wine, etc. Our waiter was excellent and having made the reservation on Open Table, was able to indicate that we were celebrating. Our waiter brought us a complementary sampling of desserts. Highly recommend. PS - The list of specials was VAST (and delicious). My 71 year old mother had trouble remembering all of them. :)"

  • "Very happy experience! Went with a small group for a birthday celebration, and it was the perfect "fancier" birthday dinner! Highlights for me were the brussel sprouts and polenta meatball board. Our waiter (Dean, I believe?) was the best! Always attentive and checking on us, filling up our wine, bread, and water, but not hovering. Everyone at my table loved their meals. Thanks, Bricco. We will surely be back!"
