Aspen's take on a traditional French Brasserie. Ambiance and service are very nice. Food is solid to excellent. Portions are more than adequate. Overall, a very nice dining experience. The Sunday night special (lamb shank) was tremendous, oysters were fresh and wonderful, scallops excellent and the choc cake for desert was perfect to share.

Although we waited for over 5 minutes for someone to offer water, the waiter was very accommodating and knew the menu from start to finish.
His knowledge of the menu was truly what saved the evening for us. The gnocchi was much different than what I am familiar with and if your not intimidated-TRY IT!

We had a late dinner upon our arrival the first night. The food, service, and ambiance were all exceptionally good. The portions were enormous; we could have easily shared a single entree, then we would have had room to try a dessert.
In fact, we liked it so well that we returned the last evening of our visit to Aspen. This time we dined from the bar menu, which, although slightly more limited, provides smaller portions and excellent value.

Thought the food would be a little more special in this bistro. It looks the part of a comfortable, casual French spot, but we found the food less than inspired. Would be a good place to hang out at the bar and have apps.
