You can quietly talk, with some element of privacy, service is good and attentive, and food is consistently good. I normally hate hotel restaurants, but this is one of my only exceptions, based on it being a good place to go with clients or referral sources."

Hotel restaurant seemed a bit dated & the carpets & fabric seating were stained in places but given the quality of the food it was easy to overlook. Guests in the hotel should definitely dine there & it was worth the cab ride for us from la cienega & Beverley blvd."

  • "The menu at this restaurant is a dream for many people who have food sensitivities, allergies and dietary restrictions. There are so many dishes that cater to special dietary needs, and they are beautifully prepare and executed. I always enjoy the seafood salad, a classic at this restaurant. There are several vegan dishes I will be trying next time. The other notable cuisine it offers is Japanese sushi and sashimi. There is a top notch sushi chef. I appreciate that the restaurant, when full, is not incredibly noisy. "

Food, while expensive, is always good and service is great and very attentive. and tables are spaced wide enough apart (with certain exceptions) that you can have private conversations, not overheard by others. I'm a regular, so they are very attentive to me, but i think everyone is treated very nicely."

  • "This is an excellent choice (my favorite) for a quiet business lunch, where you can actually converse with your lunch partner in a non-rushed, quiet and very pleasant venue (located in the Hyatt, Century Plaza in Century City). The menu choices and food preparation are also excellent (not inexpensive, but appropriate for the portions and quality). My only caveat is that the service is unfocused and spotty, meaning that while the staff is experienced, they tend to forget to timely take the food order, are late with offering bread and butter, and are late in bringing the check.........not good issues for a timely business lunch. That said, still recommended."

  • "The dinner menu has protein choices, method of cooking choices, then you pick your vegetables, your starch, and your sauce. I had salmon grilled with asparagus, mushrooms, sweet potato and the port wine sauce. The salmon was cooked too much, but was well seasoned and the skin was crispy. The sweet potato was perfection, as were the vegetables. My husbands pork was a bit over cooked as well but everything else Was ideal. The portions were generous, including the cocktails. We were impressed. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful."

  • "This is a good place for a business discussion lunch--the restaurant is quiet and inducive to conversation and service is attentive without being intrusive. The food is plated perfectly; however, it just doesn't taste that great. I had the seared ahi salad--the ahi was fishy and tasted old. My meeting partner had the club sandwich which looked okay, but not inspired. The best part of the meal was the lavosh/bread served at the beginning of the meal, though the lavosh was a bit stale. Breeze should take some time with its menu or lose out to Craft across the street--just as pricey, but with tastier food."

  • "Way too noisy for a meeting and reservations are kind of meaningless because you stand in the same line as everyone else and you wait for an open table, just like everyone else. The menu wasn't all that earth-shattering, the orange juice was sub-par and I didn't get enough coffee out of the server as he wasn't around often enough. I prefer a more quiet and casual environment for breakfast meetings and John O'Groats is the perfect place right down the street on Pico."

  • "There were 7 of us lunching before heading to the airport following a convention in LA. The restaurant was very busy but we informed our waitress that we were under time constraints. She did a nice job taking care of us. Our food did take a bit longer than we hoped but the restaurant was pretty crowded. We were all served at the same time and the food was perfect. We all loved our selections (btw, great menu!!) and were off to the airport in a good amount of time. I'd love to go back as there were severa other items on the menu that I would have loved to try!"
