  • "I was happy to find a lower cost alternative to Chima in Charlotte. The carving portions were very generous and the salad bar had a great selection - many more hot items than Chima. The servers were VERY attentive. It was a great meal and a great value for the price."

  • "In the Brazilian carvery theme, Brazz does a good job of providing a variety of food at a price more reasonable than its national competitors. They can afford to do this by less choice (10 meats/chicken/scallops versus 14 or more) and less glitz, especially in layout of the salad bar. But you can only eat so much food and they offer plenty of good choices that will fill up anyone. Scallops and filet were my favorites but others in our party also enjoyed the ribs, the lamb, and one of the chicken selections. The salad bar, which includes a selection of over 6 hot vegetables, plus at least 20 other items, had some great items. Staff were everywhere, all friendly and polite, even the chef made a couple of rounds during our two hour visit."

  • "While the food was delicious...meats carved onto your plate and an expansive salad bar, I felt a bit rushed as they came out with a different meat approximately every minute. It is not a romantic atmosphere at all. Constantly a waiter is at your table. However, if your a meat lover...you'll really love this place."

  • "We bought a Travelzoo coupon. The detail description of the policy is unclear. The tax and gratuity is based on the full value of the ORIGINAL cost or BASED VALUE not the promotional value. Therefore, the extra cost was confusing. Also, the waiter that serve us the day we went was very rude."

  • "Selected this restaurant as less pricey alternative to well known Brazilian steakhouses. Despite being a Friday night (albeit early), the restaurant was empty. Now know why. Food quality was mediocre, very fatty and lacking flavor. We were provided a sampling of several meats, but in a defined and structured order. After the final serving, we were asked if there was anything we'd like to try again. Not typical for this restaurant style. The salad bar was limited, and in general was full of filling pasta and meat salads and breads. Did not bother with dessert. The servers were fairly attentive, but did not communicate well. Although competitively priced, next time I will pay up for more established venues and will not return."

  • "The salad bar is more extensive than other Brazilian steakhouses I've been to. We each tried a little of everything (at least a bites worth) Everything was delicious. I think I could be happy with just the salad bar. They bring a small basket of appetizers. They also bring you some chimmichuri sauce which we loved on everything. I don't recall all the meats but they are listed on the website. The standout for me was the filet mignon, bacon wrapped scallops for my husband. The lamb was VERY minty, I felt like I needed some yogurt sauce to go with it. Last was grilled cinnamon pineapple to help with digestion. Not on the menu but I wish I had room for more! Phenomenonal Friendly service & quiet atmosphere."

  • "I was disappointed with the selection of salads and veggies. The tomato soup was good. The meats were tasty and cooked to my request. I has water to drink and it tasted like chlorine. The lighting was a little too low. I could hardly see my food. The wait staff was attentive."

  • "Having eaten at another rodizio (all you can eat - waiters come around with skewers of grilled steak & fish) style restaurant in uptown Charlotte, I was excited to try Brazz as I heard the food quality was good and less expensive than the other local Brazilian steakhouse. Overall -- it was a good dining experience - good service, food and prices! If you want a much more special experience, the other uptown rodizio place is much more upscale - much better salad bar, much better ambiance, better quality of carved meats (pick your piece - rare to well done) BUT...the price is almost double that of Brazz. Brazz is a good value and I'd recommend it anyone looking for someplace delicious to eat and much different than the norm in Charlotte."

  • "My husband and I went there for my birthday celebration without the kids. I was really impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. The service was wonderful and they were very attentive. One of the servers made a special dessert for us and this was without knowing of my birthday. It was a great overall experience. The only thing I would reccommend would be better signage. Great place!"

  • "Went to Brazzs for the first time on a Saturday night to utilize a Travelzoo voucher purchased for four people for the Rodizio dinner @ $75. I have been to a another Brazilian steakhouse once before in Mathews and new what to expect. We had 8:00 reservations made thru Opentable and had to wait 10 minutes for a table which has been encountered many times before on other Opentable reseravtions for a Saturday night. Food was very good. Chicken, steak(s) pork loin, scallops and even aligator. The aligator was not very high on my list, but had to at least try it and no, it does not taste like chicken. The hot and cold bars were very well stocked with a very large selection of side dishes to acoompany your proteins. Drinks speacials were great."

  • "Was our first time dinning, it was awesome. All the people that come to our table to check on us makes one feel special. The one thing I didn't like was I wanted to try everything and waited and waited even after I was full. While there were meats coming to table continuously it was when we were walking away from table that one of the meats came to table. But over all my experience was awesome and they validated parking"

  • "Went the day after valentines day for dinner with my husband, service was friendly but they kept forgetting to come by to refill drinks, see how we were doing etc. After we were sat down we actually had to go get the hostess to remind our server to come by after having been sitting there over 5 minutes without him coming by at all. Food was good, 10 options, all good nothing overly exotic. Will probably try a different brazillian steakhouse next time"

  • "We usually go to Chima for Special occasions but we decided to try something new this time. The sides here were amazing!!! Very delicious. The Meats on the other hand were just sub par. Meats were not constantly coming around like at Chima and some of the meats we really wanted didn't come around for the first time until we had been there 45 minutes already. I will go back for a date night but definitely not a special occasion."

  • "The food was pretty good. The selections were also a good amount. Our waiter barely waited on us. We were seated in the corner and he seemed to forget we were there. He seemed a little annoyed that we didn't want wine or alcohol. I ran out of water and my drink and had to ask one of the Gaucho servers for a drink because I was pregnant and was very thirsty. The Gaucho server was a better waiter than the one we had, he even came by again to check that we had everything we needed. I'm not sure if I would go back to the restaurant based on the experience from that we had with the waiter because there are other Brazilian Steakhouses in the area."

  • "The Brazz Cavery and Steakhouse was the second restaurant I tried for this type of dining. I was very impressed with Brazz's variety of selections offered on the salad and hot veggie bar. With the variety of choices I was expecting lower quality foods. I was very extremely surprised to find the selections extremely tasty and my taste buds were working overtime. Great variety! The meats offered were outstanding and I loved the different seasonings used. My table never had to wait for the meat choices as the chef's were immediately there when our "yes" cards were turned over. The meal far exceeded my expectations and from my point of view -Brazz blew away the competition!"

  • "I was disappointed with the service in this restaurant. As the server was telling us about the specials, he did not even look at us and seemed bored. As he walked away with our drink order, another server walked up to him and started arguing about who should get our table. The server did not check on us throughout our dinner. At one point, the bus boy interrupted our dinner to ask if we saw the fork he just dropped. I was also disappointed with the environment. I thought this would be a romantic, upscale restaurant, but it wasn’t. I would suggest going somewhere else if you are going to drop 40 dollars on a meal."

  • "it was cold in the restaurant. Next, our server coughed repeatedly during her spiel. My husband finally told her to go get a drink of water just to get her away from us. They were featuring a wine special by the bottle that night and when I asked what the Cab Sauv. was I was told it was RED WINE While the meats were plentiful, they were not very good. All were very chewy even the fillet. Also, most of the meats had some sort of marinate or garlic, cheese coating. I think all a really good piece of meat needs is salt and pepper. The salad bar was large, but mostly pasta. The cured salmon looked very nice, but it had a funny taste. Lastly, servers were running around constantly cleaning plates- adding plates Too much scurrying around."

  • "This was our first time going to Brazz and we will DEFINITELY be returning! The overall experience was phenomenal! The entire staff contributed to making this a top-of-ther-line experience. The food was delectable and the gauchos were knowledgeable and helped inform us on what each meat was what. We also had the privilege of having the gaucho that was in all the pictures serve our meat! It was awesome! The atmosphere was perfect. Brazz was very busy but it was still a quiet and personal experience. We can't wait to attend All You Can Eat lunch!! Thanks Brazz, Queen's Feast Restaurant Week, and Open Table for making this an experience of a life time!!"

  • "Cheaper then Chima but not as a nice of an atmosphere. Food quality is the same, selection wise Brazz doesn't do rack of lamb and Chima does. Over all quite pleased except for the fact that desert wasn't included in the Queens Feast 3 course deal , just a juice or glass of wine. If you love meat and wanna pay a little less then Chima this is great place."

  • "Experience was ok, I was expecting much more. Good salad bar, service wasn't good, some of them were friendly, the meat guy wasn't. We host our Board of Directors Dinner there, made the reservation a mom in advance and they didn't have the room ready when I called to make sure everything was fine. Also, we were overcharged $100. We spend over $1000 and the services was ahh..."

The service was impeccable - I can't tell you how many servers we had because I lost count. The food was delicious and the variety at the salad bar - both hot and cold - was amazing.   • "This is a great place for business or pleasure meals. I love the team work of the servers. There isn't any of that " oh, that's not my table, let me get your server" here. Everyone helps out and makes sure you have drinks, food and that your table stays clean through out the meal. One of my favorites is the 10 perfectly cooked meats. It is always fresh, seasoned and tasty. They also have a nice selection of wine and cocktails. plus! It is a very nice, friendly, upscale restaurant. Great for anytime. I do recommend reservations because by the time my sister and IK left the place was close to capacity"

  • "We tried Brazzaville for Restaurant Week over Chima because the menu was complete with few exclusions of the meats. We went early to avoid the crowd. No waiting and plenty of empty seats. We were rushed by the host and waitstaff for the entire duration of our visit. Chima far surpasses Brazz in every area."
