  • "Finding it on the Queens feast list, we thought we would try it out. The ambience is nice, good location. Hostess was a little stand offish, could have been because they were busy. The servers them selves seemed nice but more of a forced niceness. Food was basic Brazilian steakhouse, nothing tremendously outstanding about the selection its self. There were some bright spots, the lamb was nice. The drinks were mysterious, we had mango and passion fruit juice, ended up drinking the water. Tried the national drink, capprehinea, will not make that mistake twice. Over all better than China's, still below the original Brazzas that used to be on Independence and no where near Amour de Brazil, which to us is still the best."

  • "Wanted to try Brazz for awhile finally went during queens feast. Felt the service from main servers could have been a little better. It's like they were fighting for tables?!$(. As expected they didn't serve the "best meat" until the end. If you ask for it, however, they will bring it. Happy we went but won't rush to go back."

  • "We went during Queens Feast and the value was excellent. The food and service were outstanding. The scenery is bland but the food and service made that easy to overlook. Not sure I would go any time except queens feast, but if I was looking to spend a bunch of money on a meal then Brazz would definitely be a top contender."

  • "The meats were excellent. They were very moist and flavorfull. The ambience was nice and infiormal. My only wish is that the salad bar had more choices. That would be the only thing I think they would need to improve on. Otherwise it was a great dining experience."

  • "The ribs were so tough, that I could barely pry the meat from the bone. In fact, nearly all of the meats were undesirable, in one way or another. Service was slow, but attentive when they were present. The food lacked seasoning (except for black pepper, which was overly abundant). On a brighter note, the Passion Fruit juice was delicious. And, the strawberry cheesecake was tasty. A friend ordered the flan and was quite pleased. Still, I would not return to this restaurant."

  • "We went for Queen's Feast, our first visit ... food was good, but not really worthy of Queen's Feast. All entree items were reasonably priced to begin with, so basically it just forced your to have appetizer and dessert and maybe you saved a couple of bucks. Food was decent but nothing to write home about. Good for groups, lots of people with children ... not my ideal date night spot."

  • "Brazz was chosen during Charlotte's Restaurant Week by a couple of co-workers! The food was hot, delicious, and well organized. The Carvers were all good along with the wait staff. All staff were knowledgeable of the Wine list and meats. We all enjoyed the ambience at Brazz! Great for a date night as well! Ill be back and recommend to others!"

  • "My friend and I had dinner there on sat 6/21/14 and we will never return! The service was average but the food was another story!! The menu said the steak came with mashed potatoes and green beans, when we got our steaks we had sweet potatoes and lettuce w some dressing on it. I questioned about the mashed pot and the waiter said they had run out, well that's understandable but it would've been nice to have been told that and as far as the beans he jus went and got me some. I found the restaurant very over priced for the quality of service and food we received!"

  • "Okay, I will admit, I'm writing this review and I did not enjoy myself. I came to this restaurant with my oldest son, who is 17, his friend, who is 16, and my 4 year old son. A year before, my son and his father ate at this restaurant and absolutely loved it. Since this trip was part of a high school graduation present to the 17 year old, I felt it was only fitting to eat here, since he requested it. He and his friend loved it. I had to leave with the 4 year old because he simply couldn't handle the atmosphere, and I felt we were annoying other guests. They do not have a kids' meal, their only option for young children is friend chicken tenders with french fries."

  • "This was our 2nd trip to Brazz. If you are having the Dinner Rodizio, come hungry. The meat just keeps coming until you have had enough. Their salad bar and hot bar was very fresh. All the wait staff are helpful and super efficient. We had a early reservation, but it was filling up around 6-6:30pm. The price is more reasonable than the other Brazilian steakhouse downtown, although the salad bar is not as big. "

  • "My reservation was at lunch opening time. They opened a few minutes late; no big deal. The restaurant was nearly empty throughout my 25 minute visit. (Lunch buffet expedited the process of getting fed.) For some reason, they seemed anxious to see me pay and leave. My bill was delivered before I returned from the buffet. I'm strict vegetarian, so I went for (un-dressed) salad, steamed/roasted vegetables. The roasted vegetables were "rich" for my tastes; apparently oil was added, but they weren't oily. Sweet potatoes too heavily sweetened for me. Mashed potatoes looked appealing, but made with butter/cream, off-limits for me. (Not their fault; they aren't there to cater to the vegetarian bunch.) Steamed vegetables were perfect."

  • "The food is excellent and as good as Chima but less expensive. However, the service is not as good as Chima and the non South American staff at Brazz loses some of the authentic "Gaucho" atmosphere and ambience that gives Chima an overall advantage on the total dining experience."

  • "Brazz is basically Chima's younger brother, less refined ambiance, but the food was comparable. Not to take away from Brazz, but If I'm spending $40-50 for a Rodizio dinner, I'll choose Chima every time. It's a better atmosphere with a more appealing feel, and service. Brazz was more plain in appearance, but food was still excellent."

  • "I took my mom here for an early Mother's Day dinner-we went Saturday evening. Everything was delicious! Servers were attentive, everything explained and our needs promptly adressed. The salad bar was wonderful. It was hard to limit self to a few items or a small taste of many; however we wanted to leave room for the entree. Oregon Riesling was exactly as expected! Having grown up in California with lamb served regularly and preparing it myself numerous times I have high standards and I was NOT disappointed. Excellently prepared and served as ordered-rare. "

  • "it's not a whole lot to brag about. the price is adaquate (way cheaper than Chima, But the amount of food they brought out and the frequency was lacking (compared to Chima). I saw them bring out sausage, chicken and the scallops at least 3 times, but only saw any beef product once or twice and lamb once. Buy the time they started bringing it out more often...I had finished my food and thinking dessert. the service overall was very good. they were very attentive and gracious. Maybe I'll go later in the evening and give it another shot."

  • "We had Easter lunch and we had to ask for rolls after being there for 1/2 an hour. My husband and I asked for medium rare sirloin but the best they had was medium. He asked for thick cut but was given very thin piece, not even a whole slice. Bowls at soup station were dirty. Turkey slices small and my daughter wanted all white but it looked like it had dark weird spot. Food ok but not what we expected. Service ok."

  • "In the Brazilian carvery theme, Brazz does a good job of providing a variety of food at a price more reasonable than its national competitors. They can afford to do this by less choice (10 meats/chicken/scallops versus 14 or more) and less glitz, especially in layout of the salad bar. But you can only eat so much food and they offer plenty of good choices that will fill up anyone. Scallops and filet were my favorites but others in our party also enjoyed the ribs, the lamb, and one of the chicken selections. The salad bar, which includes a selection of over 6 hot vegetables, plus at least 20 other items, had some great items. Staff were everywhere, all friendly and polite, even the chef made a couple of rounds during our two hour visit."

  • "Selected this restaurant as less pricey alternative to well known Brazilian steakhouses. Despite being a Friday night (albeit early), the restaurant was empty. Now know why. Food quality was mediocre, very fatty and lacking flavor. We were provided a sampling of several meats, but in a defined and structured order. After the final serving, we were asked if there was anything we'd like to try again. Not typical for this restaurant style. The salad bar was limited, and in general was full of filling pasta and meat salads and breads. Did not bother with dessert. The servers were fairly attentive, but did not communicate well. Although competitively priced, next time I will pay up for more established venues and will not return."

  • "My husband and I went there for my birthday celebration without the kids. I was really impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. The service was wonderful and they were very attentive. One of the servers made a special dessert for us and this was without knowing of my birthday. It was a great overall experience. The only thing I would reccommend would be better signage. Great place!"

  • "Having eaten at another rodizio (all you can eat - waiters come around with skewers of grilled steak & fish) style restaurant in uptown Charlotte, I was excited to try Brazz as I heard the food quality was good and less expensive than the other local Brazilian steakhouse. Overall -- it was a good dining experience - good service, food and prices! If you want a much more special experience, the other uptown rodizio place is much more upscale - much better salad bar, much better ambiance, better quality of carved meats (pick your piece - rare to well done) BUT...the price is almost double that of Brazz. Brazz is a good value and I'd recommend it anyone looking for someplace delicious to eat and much different than the norm in Charlotte."

  • "The salad bar is more extensive than other Brazilian steakhouses I've been to. We each tried a little of everything (at least a bites worth) Everything was delicious. I think I could be happy with just the salad bar. They bring a small basket of appetizers. They also bring you some chimmichuri sauce which we loved on everything. I don't recall all the meats but they are listed on the website. The standout for me was the filet mignon, bacon wrapped scallops for my husband. The lamb was VERY minty, I felt like I needed some yogurt sauce to go with it. Last was grilled cinnamon pineapple to help with digestion. Not on the menu but I wish I had room for more! Phenomenonal Friendly service & quiet atmosphere."

  • "We bought a Travelzoo coupon. The detail description of the policy is unclear. The tax and gratuity is based on the full value of the ORIGINAL cost or BASED VALUE not the promotional value. Therefore, the extra cost was confusing. Also, the waiter that serve us the day we went was very rude."
