Our server Stephanie was vibrant and friemdly and the piano player inspired us to get up and dance. My first visit, for lunch was due to an invitation. I so enjoyed it that a week later I took my family back to celebrate my son's birthday. The food is EXCELLENT, service was STELLAR and we decided it was our new favorite. It was private and cozy. We asked if they could turn down the music and they were very accommodating. We had two youn kids in our party and they were able to serve the kids first. Standard dinner salad was fabulous. Carbonara was very tasty but a bit heavy. Companion enjoyed her chicken picatta. Dessert was chocolate -- serious chocolate. Restaurant is on major throughfare in a building that is unimpressive. Owners have done what they can to dress it up. Restaurant was not crowded (Tuesday night) and was very, very quiet. Don't know what would happen if place was full. Piano (style unknown)but not on Tues. night. Would not drive across the Bay to dine here, but if you are in the neighborhood this substantially above average.
