  • "Outstanding food. Service needs improvements: pay attention to clients' order and avoid reminders of missing meals."

  • "My friend and I had lunch on the patio. The food was great and the garden just beautiful. Can't wait to find a time to do it again!"

  • "Absolutely LOVED this spot! I can't say enough nice things about this place. From the decor indoors and outdoors, to the service and our awesome waiter, to the food! Everything was spot on! We were staying all the way in Bodega Bay for the weekend and there were literally zero restaurants nearby so I stumbled upon Bravas via yelp...booked through open table and we drove over an hour to eat here! It was well worth the drive. We ordered the Patatas Bravas - which had the best garlic alioli sauce, The chicken croquetas - which were the perfect bite size and rich and creamy, the Iberico Pork Riblets - which were so juicy and delicious - we also ordered the hot rum balls for dessert and the soft serve ice cream with blueberries and lemon crisp!"

  • "This tapas restaurant offers an attractive menu of small dishes with a Spanish flavor. The rear outdoor patio is lovely, and each of the tapas we enjoyed were interesting and tasty. The place compels having a group so that many dishes can be shared and sampled, but unfortunately, many of the dishes are difficult to split, e.g. the "lamb meat balls"- two meat balls, each served on a tiny bun, like sliders, but about 2" tall overall and impossible to split in half without destroying, denying some diners at the table the ability to share. Other dishes are similar, but some do lend themselves to splitting and sharing. All dishes were attractively presented and delicious."

  • "Bravas is our choice in Healdsburg to dine outside with friends. The atmosphere, food, and service are ideal for a wonderful, relaxing time noshing on good food. Have the dry sherry tasting with tapas, it's an education! We've been coming to Bravas since it opened and altho the food has slid down a tiny bit into what is becoming Americanized Spanish, it remains high quality with good execution. The tostadas are ALL outstanding, along with the steak w/Valdeon blue, these are substantial-sized plates. Chorizo and padrons also great little nibbles, as were bacon-wrapped dates. Skip dessert (uninteresting ice cream sundaes) and have a sweet sherry flight instead."

  • "Charming patio on a warm afternoon. Delicious craft gin and tonic. Sherry flight was interesting. The gazpacho, fried pigs ears with anchovy vinaigrette, octopus, and oxtail toasts with fennel and aioli were standouts. Teens especially loved the warm ham cheese croquettes and potatoes. Will return to taste other items. Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive."

  • "I had the joy of spending the day with my sisters and mom on a beautiful Sunday. We wanted to try someplace fun for lunch in the Healdsburg area. All the places we looked didn't open until after 3pm. The host at J Winery recommended Bravas Tapas so we booked our reservation! What a PLEASURE! We were so excited to sit outside on the patio. Our server was amazing, stayed attentive the whole time! Your food just starts coming...all I can say is YUMMY!!! Made the whole day for all of us! Definitely try this place out!"

  • "We discovered Bravas on a visit to the area last July. Loved everything ordered and could not wait to return on our next trip which was this past week. The food was just as exceptional as was the service and ambience. Every dish had its unique blend of spices and was mouth watering. We will definitely return on another trip. If we lived closer, we would be a frequent visitor to Bravas."

  • "I'm a local and finished my errands early. Decided to give myself a treat by lunching on the patio of Willi's. Became adventurous and tried some new items, like the almond crusted sole and the fresh peel-yourself prawns. Oh, my! Good choices. And the server suggested I could have the blood orange martini on the rocks….excellent move. Happy, happy."

  • "Interesting food choices worth trying. Some of my plant-based food choices tasted fishy. Waitress was nice, but service was pretty slow."

  • "Well sized portions for tapas style plates. Mix of classic and modern tapas dishes. Loved the style of the restaurant and back yard patio."

  • "One of if not the best meal we had on our vacation. The service was friendly The food was great the Sangria tastey. The desert was amazing would highly recommend"

  • "My wife and I visited during Happy Hour. Several of the tapas and the Sangria were discount priced. All the tapas were quite good, especially the Creamy Chicken Croquetas and the oxtail tostadas. We tried the Crispy Pig Ears...not bad if you are a bit adventurous. Our server, Leslie, was very attentive, accommodating and delightful. We would definitely dine here again on a return visit to Healdsburg."

  • "My favorite place to end my wine tasting day in Sonoma. Great tapas mixed with a big patio complete with heaters makes this place a real find. Try the chorizo and poblano pepper tapas and their sangria. I recommend getting one of their larger family plates like their fried chicken since it feeds like 3 people and also comes with a kale salad. We ate for a reasonable price."

  • "Oxtail Tostada!!! Dont leave this place without trying it. To be specific the actual dish is described as: Rioja Braised Pulled Oxtail, Fennel Slaw, Alioli..... I would describe it as soft, melt-in-your-mouth, flavorful greatness. There were so many things going right for this dish: the tenderness of the meat, the ratio of tostada-to-meat-to-garnish, and of course that savory flavor. I had to take a couple of moments to regain my thoughts and my saliva. I LIVE FOR THIS! There are soooo many dishes to try here and on paper they sounds amazing. Will be back to indulge in the rest."

  • "We love all of the local Stark Restaurants. This was our first time at Bravas in Healdsburg. We very much liked the Spanish cooking-based small plates. We brought our own wine, but noted the wine menu had a good selection of Spanish and local California wines, as well as a few craft brews on tap. We will definitely be back with friends and relatives in tow."

  • "First time at Bravas and I would definitely go back! The food was fantastic and they had a great variety to choose from on the menu. Our server was super friendly and gave great recommendations."

  • "Good service. Friendly. Efficient. Informative. They have several gin and tonic variations. Mine was great. White gazpacho seemed overly acid-- maybe sherry vinegar. Once the other dishes started coming it made more sense as it cut some of the richer flavors. The clams were my favorite. Also ate crispy chicken thighs, escarole salad and patatas bravas. Yum!"

  • "We will definitely be back. Enjoyed the padrone peppers with the mini chorizo sausages, the clams were perfect, and the goat cheese toasts with onions and honey with a touch of balsamic was outstanding."

  • "I had the pork cheek sandwich, on advice of a friend who is a chef who had told me the cheek was the most tender. That sandwich was so delicate it was like taking a bite into a wonderful pork flavored hologram."

  • "Brava is a gem. The only difficult part is choosing between so many delicious offerings and the excellent wine & sherry list. The staff is very attentive, helpful in making choices, and conversational without hovering."

  • "We spent a month in Spain enjoying tapas every night. These are the best tapS we have had since we have been home! Great variety, incredible blend of flavors, and fabulous service. Highly recommended."

  • "True Spanish tapas. Each and every dish is absolutely delicious. The stark's, who own Willie's wine bar, willie's seafood and raw bar, stark's steakhouse and bravas have some of the best food in wine country. We frequent all their restaurants as do our foodie friends. FABULOUS"

  • "The restaurant had a warm feel with it's decor and color. The menu had a wide array of tapas treats. The standouts to me were the Crispy Pig Ears (Sounds odd, but has a nice crispy, citrus, pork flavor) and the skirt steak served medium rare (browned on the outside, pink on the inside, with the perfect amount of salt and pepper). The steak did come with a red onion marmalade and a Valdcon cheese. Great addition to the dish. I also tried the brussel sprouts and the tuna belly salad. While the initial taste was delectable, my taste buds tired of the flavors of both. I would go again to try their duck meatballs, pork riblets, and their various sea foods."

  • "I had heard happy hour was great here, but we were coming in after a 6:00 movie- you just walk across the street. We had a great table in the window, fabulous service, and the food is creative and delicious. Also great were the specialty drinks, try one. We had a great time and will return."

  • "This was my second time at Bravas. The lunch I had the previous week was great in so many ways. We sat out back and the outdoor area is private with a bar and great music streaming through. The seared scallops over roasted leeks were memorable and paired well with the house salad of gorgonzola and apples with a citrus vinaigrette. The second visit was for dinner and the kale dish was flavorful and paired well with the steamed clams which were plentiful and seasoned beautifully with a nice broth at the bottom of the bowl for dipping bread. The service was really nice. There was a vibrant bunch at the bar and I see myself coming back with friends for a glass. This place is a gem."

  • "We've been about 8 times now so we must like it. :) It has been consistent in the offerings and we've tried almost every menu item. some a bit on the pricey side for portion, but the effort that goes into those dishes is evident. Try something that you've never tried before. You'll likely be a new fan. LIke the duck eggs with chorizo crackings. We have to have one each every time. Order the Pan tomate bread to go with it. So good. And the escalivade dish is great w/ a little goat cheese side. The calamari is cooked perfectly. The soup (gazpacho style) is a mouth-watering surprise. Just Go. Chris and Robert and John, all excellent servers and really know the menu."

  • "I took my fiancé here to celebrate our engagement. We were blown away by the presentation and execution of the small-plate-style tapas. Bravas is definitely worth some attention, it has high reviews on Yelp! And comes recommended by the locals."

  • "Superb service and delicious food! Seared scallops and the goat cheese/caramelized onion crostinis were off the charts. Fresh and perfectly seasoned kale salad as well. Hard to get better!"

  • "I have been to Bravas twice before so I knew that the food and drinks were fabulous. Excellent gin and tonics. The bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese are fabulous, not to be missed. The service has always been excellent as well. I was particularly impressed on my most recent visit. Although the restaurant specializes in hams and cheeses the servers were extremely respectful to a vegan couple who was in our group. There aren't really any vegan options on the menu, but the servers were very polite in answering their questions and asked the chef to forgo the sauces that contained dairy or egg. Although I certainly would not recommend this restaurant for vegans, I was impressed with the respectful way the staff treated the couple."

  • "There were seven of us and we were seated in an alcove that gave us the sense of being in our own room. We were slow to order because of too much chatting and the server handled that nicely. The wine list was a good mix of Spanish and Sonoma County wines. The tapas were uniformly excellent. Everyone was very happy with the evening. We are looking forward to returning soon."

  • "This restaurant looked navigable with food allergies. The waiter wasn't able to help easily, but the manager worked with me and the chef to find things I could eat. There were about 8 items, and most were plates I wanted to try! My non-adventurous husband found things that pushed his limits and some that were in his comfort zone. His favorite dish- goat cheese toast with onions and honey. Mine? The smoked ham. I also loved the octopus. Crispy pork ears tasted great but were too rich to eat many. The flank steak was excellent, but a heavy note to end on. The fried potatoes weren't great, but that may have been because of my modifications. Hubby also loved the pork cheek sandwiches. The anchovies were ok. Loved the Tempranillo."

  • "Oh yum! Bravas is a delicious find in Healdsburg. It's fun to go to with a group or as a couple. It's cozy inside but doesn't feel crowded. Tapas on the back patio is a favorite on warm days and nights. Their special almonds are a flavorful treat. Bring your appetite and pace yourself so you can try many of their dishes."
