I chose it for Mother's Day because they offered a $49 prix-fixe with a complementary Kir Royale for mom (me)! The menu choices were exactly as shown online, and they were all so enticing that it was difficult to choose---in every course! That's not usually the case with a set menu where I've often found only one choice in each category to stand out. Everything we ordered was superb. I remember the original Brasserie, and love the way it has been updated. It's stunning. I can't say enough good things.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMNoiseI go to Brasserie all the time, both for lunch and for dinner, and my most recent experience there, at 12:30 PM on a Wednesday in a typical work week, was the noisiest ever. I literally couldn't hear my server (who has been my server, completely audibly, many times before). Unfortunately, I also couldn't hear my client, who was sitting about 3 feet away from me.
