BRASSERIE TEN TENGreat dining place in Boulder, COI go here almost for every special occasion. Love the food and wine...
Will recommend to check this place out.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful eveningHad some amazing food and a nice romantic evening without breaking the bank. Very nice!5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BrunchI took my mom here for a day-early Mother's Day brunch and we loved it! The french onion soup was DELICIOUS! We ended up ordering the Tartare and Artichoke crepes which were equally as delicious, and the desserts were absolutely divine. Our only complaint was that our server was a little awkward, maybe he was new or just plain nervous but he seemed pretty uncomfortable. It's easy to notice problems in a restaurant once you've worked in one, and we thought it was extremely awkward that our server picked up his tip right after we set our book down, before we even left the restaurant.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAttentive Service and Good FoodCU Boulder graduation weekend is a hard time to find good restaurants. We reserved a month in advance because we heard good things about this restaurant. Not disappointed at all. We had a lovely brunch served by an attentive waiter in an energetic atmosphere.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBESTI can not visit Boulder without a spending at least one evening at this fabulous Brasserie.
The food has never been less than OUTSTANDING! The wine list is well selected.
The service is great even in the most stressful time, like UC Boulder Grad night.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Menu and ServiceWe took my daughter to Brasserie Ten Ten after graduation. We arrived a little before our reservation and were greeted warmly and given a table without much wait. Everyone was very friendly even though it was extremely busy. The food arrived timely and we all loved what we ordered. The salmon was the favorite. I will definitely be going back.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Happy Hour menuThe best thing about Brasserie Ten Ten is the Happy Hour, which lasts until 6:30. The menu is varied and the food quite delicious. Until 7 or 7:30, however, the noise level is pretty intense.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways Excellent!!You can always depend on great food that tastes good, looks appetizing and served well. Don't miss it if you are in Boulder. Only complaint.......it's hard to get a table because it is so good.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFavorite in BoulderBrasserie is one of my favorite Boulder restaurants. Great menu, food always consistently good. We have had many a family celebration and they always do a superb job. Brunch is outstanding as well.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMTried them for the first timeTried them for the first time last week with 3 other gals from the office. Nice lunch menu selection and great food! Server was quick and attentive, and very knowledgable about the selections on the menu. Just a bit loud with many conversations going on as the restaurant had a crowd, but not to the point of being distracting in anyway. I would highly recommend and can't wait to try them for dinner, soon!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a great meal - the musselsHad a great meal - the mussels in pesto were an amazing appetizer. The steak was perfectly prepared. The only complaint is that the noise level in the restaurant can make conversation difficult at peak busy times.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Ten Ten never dissapointsThe Ten Ten never dissapoints and always yields surprises! What else is ther to say, but things are outstanding on all fronts. Shaved pork belly PBLT's? Yup, you bet! Who would have thunk!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMSo enjoy the fresh, cleanSo enjoy the fresh, clean sustainable foods with the French flair. Would love to be offered a gluten free bread option with the mussels or with a sandwich. But, that doesn't deter us from coming in. It sometimes gets pretty loud and difficult to talk. This one of our favorite restaurants in Boulder.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMArrived early for an 8:00Arrived early for an 8:00 reservation. Had a drink at the bar and was promptly seated at 8:00. Our server was there when we needed her but we were never rushed or left wanting. Our appetizers ( baked brie and artichoke crepes) were delicious. Our entrees even better ( steak and frittes, lemon ricotta gnocchi). It was very busy and they had a few large tables, the staff worked as a team and we had a delightful experience!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food, service andWonderful food, service and beautiful setting. Great evening4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMHaving grown up in Paris,Having grown up in Paris, France I have both perspective and experience with respect to French food. The occasion was my daughter's birthday and we were not disappointed. The moules mariniere were plump and cooked to perfection and the French fries were outstanding: crisp and just the right size. Too big and there's too much potato, too thin and there's not enough. The french fries almost rival the standard by which all french fries are measured, the Relais de Venise in Paris (the original Entrecote)a la Porte Maillot. The 2010 Muscadet was a perfect complement. Bon Appetit!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat 37th Anniversary DinnerMy wife and I went to Ten Ten for our 37th wedding anniversary. The Maitre d' greeted us with a warm, "Happy Anniversary", and showed us to our table where two glasses of champagne were waiting for us.
We started the evening with a "Simple Salad" and an escargot dish that was baked in a dish with puff pastry. The simple salad was prepard with fresh butter lettuce, roasted capers, pinons and fresh ground pepper- simple, indeed, and very tasty. The escargot souffle. Delightful! We had Bouillabasse and Sauteed Couquilles for main courses and both were to die for.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMService was great and I couldn'tService was great and I couldn't really ask for anything more. The food was outstanding and I think this was one of the best crème brulées I've ever been served. There was a simple mistake on our bill but the waitress and manager sorted it out immediately. Would heartily recommend.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Easter DinnerThis has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Boulder. My husband and I took my sister, my niece, and her husband there for Easter dinner on Sunday. We were seated immediately, even though it was crowded and the service was excellent. We arrived during happy hour and started with an assortment of shared starters, all of which were delicious and interesting. I had scallops, which were fantastic. My husband had bouillabaisse, which he thought had too much anise and not the right Mediterranean mix of spices. That accounts for my 4 instead of 5 rating on the food. My sister had duck breast and duck confit, which was also delicious. It was a wonderful Easter dinner.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything we ordered forEverything we ordered for bunch was tasty! Mussels, salad, waffle, and eggs. I want to eat here again soon. Yum3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great time. ServiceWe had a great time. Service was terrific and accommodated our happy hour group of 6. It gets really loud so it made it hard to hear.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMI was impressed by our server'sI was impressed by our server's knowledge of the menu.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely New Menu ItemsIt was nice to see some new items on the menu, especially gluten-free chevre-filled ravioli, a lovely dish with greens and squash. My friend enjoyed her layered-tortilla eggs Rancheros. We always love their lemon tart and great cappuccino.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI love 10-10! The only drawbackI love 10-10! The only drawback is the noise level. You can barely hear the person beside you and across the table conversation is impossible. Noise is way beyond "energetic"3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best meals I hadOne of the best meals I had in Boulder! Such a nice find on our trip! Will definitely be back.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMOur first visit, our 22ndOur first visit, our 22nd weddng anniversary. Went early because they were booked solid, but happy we did. Ordered from Happy Hour menu to try several of their dishes. Loved everything, and generous portions for Happy Hour. Moving to Boulder and this will be a favorite.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMBrasserie Ten Ten is one ofBrasserie Ten Ten is one of the finest restaurants in Boulder -- highly recommended for anyone, especially out of town travelers. The food & service is on par with the best in bigger cities!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMLocal favoriteThis popular restaurant has truly excellent food for the price, and very good food at any price. It's a New Orleans French kind of place. I particularly like the steak & eggs, chicken & waffles, and pulled pork sandwich. Their brique poulet is very good if you're in the mood for chicken. Specials are always worth considering. And if you just want to snack, go for oysters or maybe some sliders.
This place can get very busy. It's in the thick of downtown Boulder, which is retail land and start-ups central for the region, so it can get busy, especially at lunchtime. When it's really crowded, it can get loud, so while groups often will go there, it can be hard to hear each other sitting at a long table.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunch can be such a leisurelyBrunch can be such a leisurely event at Brasserie Ten Ten. The wait staff doesn't hurry you either in choosing items from the menu or timing between courses. My friend had the special St. Patrick's Day eggs benedict. Her verdict was they were the best egg benedict she had ever eaten. I especially enjoy the family atmosphere. there are always children at the restaurant and they seem to be welcomed handily.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AM"best is the west ... of broadway"the best of all, and it is already great, is that you can reserve in happy hour. i give you an A+.and parking stickers are nice. the waitpersons are always happy !!!
thanks.
mickey3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and good - fast,Great food and good - fast, efficient service but our table of six was in a cramped dark corner. Not great for the foodies among us as you could barely see the food or wine. Noise level very high that thursday night. Again not good for conversation across the table.
Go there with friends and family when you can be lloud. Not for a business dinner with out of town guests.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMDid It Again!Every time we go to this restaurant we are delighted by the wonderful food, perfectly timed service, and staff's friendly attitude and desire to see that we have a good experience. I finally tried the beef marrow, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful (considering it's just fat), with delicious mustards and relish. My husband's usual bouillabaisse was lovely as ever; great "hideaway" salad, great onion soup. Truly a gem of a restaurant.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTenTen has a nice dignifiedTenTen has a nice dignified atmosphere, a little on the formal side, for Boulder. the feeling of an established place, like a hotel dining space. It 's aesthetically pleasing, and the menus are beautiful. We had a small baby with us, and she enjoyed the active atmosphere. All-in-all, a pleasant experience, although the food wasn't as good as expected. Without being aware of it, we ordered too many similarly fried dishes. One person mentioned that the one of the mussels had a questionable taste, and she didn't eat the rest.
The wait staff were superb, not too casual, genuine, friendly and alert. ALl were impressed by them. Later in the evening it became extremely noisy, but still we had a good time.3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBrasserie Ten Ten never dissapointsBrasserie Ten Ten never dissapoints. Great energy, happy and efficient staff, excellent wine, and food to die for.3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMStellar! As usual, we had a fantastic dinner and we each loved what we ordered. The brique poulet was amazing, as was the steak frites and nicoise salad. This is the best restaurant in Boulder!3/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went here after a concertWe went here after a concert at 4:15pm. Surprised to find the place packed. Server said they always have a big crowd for happy hour. Great deals on oysters, cheese etc. We had dinner and it was great. My favorite, cassoulet, was a modern, less fattening version, but still very good and filling. Lemon tart was excellent.3/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAWESOME BOULDER GEMWe just had a wonderful meal and the service was outstanding. One of the best resturants I have ever been too. Highly recommended.2/8/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of Boulder's "Top Five"Brasserie Ten Ten is one of our favorite Boulder restaurants. It's very popular (for good reasons), hence it's also noisy. Nevertheless, we enjoy the ambience, the energy, the food and, usually, the service. This time we had a waiter who seemed to be distracted in that he got two of the four orders wrong and forgot to do a couple things we requested. This, we know, is the exception, not the rule at Ten Ten and will not keep us from returning to this fine restaurant in the future. Except for me - who got the wrong order - everyone enjoyed their meals and the prices during happy hour have to be the best in Boulder! Also, they always have wine specials that I've learned to go with whenever possible - and I've never been disappointed.1/16/2013 12:00:00 AMPut this on your bucket listWe arrived in time to take advantage of Happy Hour. We enjoyed fish and chips,
beef slider, crepes, a salad and the fabulous date dessert. Our drinks were
delicious including the latte.
This charming restaurant is one of our favorites in Boulder.1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
