Brasserie RuhlmannDelicious midtown outdoor venueThird visit; this time with good weather, we were outdoors. Food is consistently tasty and well served. Good selection of fare especially for lunch. Attentive service. Not cheap but not outlandish given the location.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMThey do a good job of notThey do a good job of not letting the bit of building scaffolding get in the way4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMOnce again, I have had theOnce again, I have had the time of my life at Brasserie Ruhlmanns! Went for lunch with two work colleagues and dined outside in their "pleasure garden" amongst the hustle bustle of NYC one is transported to another place -- could it be Lake Como, Vienna, Paris perhaps? The service and food are divine. The location is perfect. Feelings of a private garden and those sitting within are the lucky ones. Intimate dining al fresco in the middle of it all - Rockefeller Center. FABULOUS!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMNice place with good food.Nice place with good food. Outdoors was closes as still too cold. Good and quick service4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect French bistro setting.Perfect French bistro setting. Vibrant and happening lunch scene. Very professional waitstaff that serve you with alacrity, but without obtrusiveness. Fantastic Chicken Paillard, and nice little macaroons offered with coffee. The only downside is that the pricing is a bit steep, but that's Midtown.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMI have avoided this restaurantI have avoided this restaurant as I thought it was a place for tourists.
What a mistake! We had the most wonderful lunch and have made plans to return.
The food is outstanding as was the service.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious!I frequent this restaurant often for lunch and am never disappointed. Their menu offers something for those who just want to nibble and for those who come hungry. Either way, you will leave pleased!4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThe only reason why I giveThe only reason why I give this restaurant a 4 is because it is extremely expensive. If you're looking for a nice place and willing to spend money; this is your place. However if you are just tired of walking around and you are looking for a place that is reasonable, then keep walking because the food wasn't any better than your neighborhood Chile's. It just seemed like I paid for presentation. But I digress it was bad, just expensive.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMI accidentally made my reservationI accidentally made my reservation for the wrong date. I did not realize this until I showed up at the restaurant with my party of 10. They were so kind to accommodate us and they even offered to switch my open table reservation to the correct date so I would be able to collect the points! It was my mother-in-laws birthday and she was treated to a nice dessert with candles. What could have been a disaster (due to my mistake) turned out to be a great day for all of us.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spot close to the hustleGreat spot close to the hustle and bustle of the Rockerfellar Center. Beautiful interior and nice ambiance. In the summer they have a great terrace. Ideal spot to see the world go by ... and the food is delicious.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMClaudia made our visit superb! My husband and I went here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was very quiet, and at first our drinks started a little off, but Claudia took care to make sure that we were happy. She gave great recommendations for the menu, made sure we were comfortable with our 10 month old son, and was very attentive and friendly. She even helped me in the ladies room, set up a changing station for my baby. I was very grateful, for as most NYC parents know, MANY NYC restaurants don't have changing tables, and are usually pretty unwilling to accomodate you with a baby. Claudia was amazing! The food was delicious - we had a lobster tower, burger and the branzino - all spot on.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
