Una joya de la comida francesa, no se pierdan las hamburguesas de carne Kobe y la lista de vinos es bastante satisfactoria. El servicio reluciente y el lugar très chic

  • There used to be an Italian

There used to be an Italian restaurant in this location with somewhat poor taste, the redone brasserie is very nicely done. It is very comfortable and there is plenty of space. It is a place to spend a very relaxing evening. Go for their recommended fare, it is good quality, but not excellent. Drinks were on the expensive side, without question. The liquor bar was too expensive, in opposition to French brasseries, which was somewhat surprising. Armagnacs and calvados were top dollar, more what you find at upscale French restaurants but not brasseries, there is quite some room for improvement. I found the wines expensive as well.

  • My meal at Brasserie Lipp
    OpenTable Diner Since 2001VIP

My meal at Brasserie Lipp was easily the worst meal I've ever had in my more than 10 times visiting Mexico City in the past year. My requested medium rare steak was served well-done twice, and then they brought me a third steak that was almost frozen inside. Despite failing three times to provide my steak as ordered, they did not hesitate to charge me for the entire meal without even an offer of a free drink or dessert. Mexico City has many wonderful restaurants. Don't waste your time or MONEY on Brasserie Lipp.

The food was incredible, the service very good, the idea of the terrace nice. We ordered foi grass, carpaccio (kobe meat extraordinary),scallops with rissotto (very good) and salmon. But the winner above all is the chocolate souffle...heavenly.

Restaurant was quite empty for lunch the day we visited. Food was very good but seemed very expensive for what we ordered.
