The brunch menu is extensive, quite a refreshing change from the usual prix fixe dreck that comprises the usual holiday brunch offerings elsewhere. My steak frites was cooked to medium rare perfection, accompanied by exceptional truffle fries that were the hit of the table. Pain perdu was just sweet enough without being cloying, and had just the right level of custardy saturation. Daughters loved the croque madame and savory crepes, well seasoned yet still friendly to less than sophisticated palates. and our server was one of those who adds to the dining experience with her knowledge and energy. It's so close to home and I absolutely love the decor and delicious food. We decided to have dinner here for our Anniversary and it was so lovely. Our waiter was fantastic and made our dining experience very pleasurable. He managed to find a perfect half bottle of champagne that has now become my new favorite (Moet & Chandon Nectar Imperial Rose)! The service was outstanding, the food amazing and the wine list is well priced. They don't add a huge mark up on the wine list. This time the hostess and manager at the front really impressed us. We walked in and the scene was lively. Despite the confusion at the front we were immediately greated by the pleasant hostess and offered to be escorted to our table. The hostess was rudely interrupted by another patron who was claiming he hadn't made up his mind about that table. This was awkward for us and for the hostess. She walked back to the hostess table and discreetly whispered the issue into the manager's ear. Without hesitation the manager apologized to the other patron and informed him the table had been offered to a reservation, us! Awesome!
