A word from Brando's
Brando's was founded on the premise of great food made from quality ingredients, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere which we believe are the three elements of any enjoyable dining experience.

The chef/owner, Steven Botta, grew up in Brooklyn and learned many of recipes used at Brando's from his mother. Raised in this welcoming tradition, he believes when you enter Brando's, whether its your first time or your one hundredth time, you should always feel like they are dining with family.

Soulful Italian is the best way to describe our menu. Our culinary team has been trained at the finest culinary schools, and has over fifty years of combined experience. From our fresh pasta, to our line-caught fish, to our thirty-five day dry-aged steaks, the difference is discernible

  • "Dinner at Brandos on Saturday August 23rd was excellent. We both had salads: my husband had the wedge and I had the beet salad. Both were wonderful. My husband had one of the steaks and I had halibut (off the specials menu). The presentation was exceptional and our dinners were delicious. We shared the white asparagus which was wonderful, too. We had cocktails before dinner and a glass of wine with dinner. The dinner was outstanding and we both had leftovers to take home. The server recommended a special dessert that was like smores. It did not have enough flavor so I would not recommend that."

  • "We were a family gathering from around the USA for a weekend together at the shore. Our reservations were for 7 PM and we were seated promptly. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. The wine list was extensive. The food was good, but not as good as I had hoped for after reading the reviews. I had the linguine Frank Sinatra (shrimp, scallops, and clams). My wife had the rigatoni bolognese, and my vegetarian daughter the gnocchi. I tried all the dishes, and the fresh made rigatoni was best. Dinner conversation was made difficult by the loud conversation all around, and poor acoustical dampening. The dinner lasted 2.5 hours and was a dining experience."

  • "Brando is a great place, great food, their specials were extensive and inviting. We had the fig wrapped in Italian bacon stuffed with blue cheese on top of watermelon and some drizzle, really good. The meatballs were delicioso! Canniolli so fresh, all the desserts are worth saving room."

  • "We chose this restaurant at random online for a romantic dinner and we could not have been more pleased. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. We began with appetizers of panko crusted fried zucchini which and two types of meatballs which were out of this world. Our meals, a filet and a shrimp dish were also fantastic. Everything was in gigantic proportions too though so I would definitely recommend sharing an appetizer! We shared dessert which was a trio of sorbet to include lemon, mojito, and coconut - again - splendid. Our drinks were made to perfection as well and overall this was a great night. The ambiance was great with the low lighting, exposed brick wall, and brick oven burning in the corner."

  • "My first impression.. not happy with the location! I would have loved to eat outside on a beautiful night. That street is like a highway!!The restaurant inside was very dark & I could barely read the menu if it hadn't been for my husband asking for us to be moved my the window. The service was very slow and they really weren't even busy at this point. I will say the food was delicious!!! My husband ordered the Tuscan wings as an app and the portion was huge and they were to die for! Both of our meals were very, very good. Sorry to say but I don't think we'll be going back because of all the negative points I mentioned."

  • "Looking for a steak we decided to try Brando's instead of going to Char. The Server talked me into the over rib eye special telling me how incredible it was, and at 32oz there would be leftovers. So I went for it. Can't begin to tell you how disappointed I was, no seasoning, no flavor, and more then have the weight was the bone. I suspect the server know cause he never asked my opinion. My party of four will not be back."

  • "I have eaten at Brandos many times and the filet mignon never disappoints. Trie the eggplant tower for the first time and will definitely be having that again. The beer salad I could have done without, not much flavor. Also tried soft shell crabs but the dish was very salty. Overall I love brandos, one of my favorites."

  • "Wonderful dinner for 9 visiting relatives. After traveling 2 hours, our guestsfrom Brooklyn and Pennsylvania were thrilled by the drink and appetizer selections we all shared. The service was great and we were not rushed as we savored the numerous entrees. The stuffed veal chop was outstanding as were the scallops, fish dishes and spicy shrimp. The portions were large and we left with 6 take home bags. Italian cheesecake and zambolis were enjoyed by all."

  • "Upon entering Brandos one immediately feels they have entered a very special restaurant. Your senses are filled with beautifully decorated rooms, delicious smells and a quiet hum of eaters enjoying their dining experience. The host and wait staff was well trained and helpful. Our food was a foodies heaven. Everyone ordered something different and each meal was delicious and beautifully plated. The highlight of our entrees was our dry aged rib steak that was big enough to share for two. The rib of the steak was the largest rib i have ever seen. An eighteen inch bone eaters delight. A restauarant not to be missed!!!!!!!"

  • "Started with the Polenta and Mushrooms, a real treat. I do not even like polenta, this was a game changer for me. I had the hanger steak, it was stellar and cooked perfectly. On previous visits I had the meatballs and Sunday sauce - a real throw back to Sunday dinner at my Grandmother's when I was a child, blew my mind. Great wine selection as well. Slightly upscale atmosphere with just the right amount of rumble. The service was top notch as we were there for nearly three hours (by choice), our server was with us the whole way."

  • "I think very hard about where to celebrate my birthday each year. I picked Brandos after asking around. It didn't hit the mark for me. Appetizers, service, and ambience were good. It was a quiet Wednesday night. My $42 Veal chop had the thickest layer of bread crumbs, which was tasteless. My Husbands $45 Lobster was not very good and swimming in a pool of oil. Don't know that I will be back or recommend it."

  • "The food and service was excellent. We were a group of 8 and were seated at a round table which to me is wonderful to be able to talk to your entire party. One of us was gluten free and they were wonderful about options. Portion size is very generous. Our only complaint was the dinning room next to the kitchen was extremely warm which made things very uncomfortable. We also had a reservation and we were seated 45 minutes late."

He was funny, informed, energetic and most importantly went out of his way to make sure we had the best time. A high school reunion of sorts he paced our meal so that we could have the most time together. His food recommendations were spot on too. The food is amazing!!! Fresh and designed with a nice creative twist. Crab, shrimp and avocado over greens - so yummy. Polenta with mushroom ... I'm going back just for this!!! OMGosh this was comfort food that was so delicious, I've never had polenta like it. Dinners were each deliciously fresh and bursting with flavor. Leave room for dessert too - nothing about this meal will disappoint you. "
