BrandlWe love this place!We found this restaurant a year and a half ago while looking for places to host our rehearsal dinner. We ended up going back over and over again, and we booked the entire restaurant for our rehearsal dinner. The food is always delicious, the service polite and considerate, and it is a true find for upscale (but not club-like) dining along the shore. We returned for Mother's day lunch last weekend and all 8 of us had great food and a great experience. We cannot say enough about Brandl! However, the same cannot be said of the service. It is a BYOB and, while they will open your bottle, they never offer to pour. There is never a check before the next course is served to make certain that the silverware needed is on the table. You must always ask for more bread and often for water as well. There is one waiter whose smug attitude is so off-putting, I dread when he is the one who is serving my table.
