Brand - Monte CarloWhat a wonderful meal!What made this steakhouse special, besides the food, was our outstanding, yet non-pretentious server, Bryan.
There were some unusually named items on the menu, but Bryan was eager to describe each one according to our questions.
Highly recommend the baseball cut Filet (on the bone). It was outstanding, and prepared exactly right.
The sides were delicious, especially the wild mushrooms and the mac 'n cheese, and just the right amount for our party of 4.
Don't forget dessert, the Nutella filled donut holes were out-of-this-world!

The meal did not disappoint and we left very satisfied. The noise level wasn't too high despite being seated in a open area next to the casino, which provided us with some nice opportunities to people-watch during our meal.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Food, Lying HostessI went to the place at 4:30pm, check it out and ask for 6:30pm table to be farther away from the casino. I dropped off my companies at the hotel front entrance and went to self park. By the time I walked back I saw the my friends has been placed at a table on the edge of the casino. I asked the hostess and she said my friends asked for a table closed to the casino so they can watch the Blue Man Group parade. Of course my friends didn't ask for it. AJ, the waiter has later explain they are one staff short and the manager didn't want to open the back area. If the hostess wouldn't explain that to me, I would be glad to accept it. She didn't have to lie.

The good taste parade continued all the way through the wine, main course, side dishes and desert. It was a good choice for staying the hotel and I would tell anyone to go. It doesn't have the "stuffy" steakhouse atmosphere. There is music playing in the background. Also it is right on the casino floor, but we were seated in the back so I am not sure how loud It was near the floor. Not the best steak I have had in my life, but it was very good and worth the price. One issue is not having some type of divider between the casino and the restaurant. Too many people on a Saturday night passing through and gawking in..... Maybe during less busy days its okay but it was a take away from the great food experience we were having.....the only plus to it being open was getting to enjoy the Blue Man percussion parade!!!!!! That was great!!!!

The filet was very flavorful and tender. the lounge and overall ambiance was beautiful. It felt very private even though almost every area was occupied. Our server was wonderful; friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. My ONLY complaint is the attitude of the hostess; it was as if we bothered her when we approached her post when checking in for our reservation. But after that, the overall experience was great!
