Bramble & Brine, opened by husband/wife team Megan and Joe Churchman, is a neighborhood gem located in one of Rehoboth"s main street cottages. Originally built in the early 1900's and restored keeping true to its turn of the century charm, the atmosphere is both elegant and inviting. The ever changing, global inspired menu is rich with handcrafted dishes prepared utilizing a fusion of classic and modern techniques. A special chef's menu with meticulously selected wine pairings is available on weekends in a private room for parties of 2 to 12 guests on a first come, reservation only basis and is highly customizable with advanced notice. Antiques throughout the restaurant are offered for sale and provide an engaging setting in what feels like a formal dining room in a home from the past. Be sure to visit the marble top bar for prohibition era cocktails and pour over the extensive wine list. We can't wait to serve you a truly remarkable meal and unique dining experience!Continued

  • "There were a number of issues with our meal but the primary one was the substation of another cut of meat of meat for the $32 ribeye. Judging from the lack of flavor and seasoning I assume that the cooking method was sous vide with a finish applied by searing in a cast iron pan. The ribeye? was served without a fat cap and cut like a filet but the grain was all wrong for a ribeye and more consistent with top butt. This piece of meat was totally under seasoned and I couldn't find the server to ask for salt. BTW, it was my wife's birthday and the server performed the elaborate birthday ritual with the table next to us and ignored us (In addition to never being told specials and my wife waiting too long for a glass a wine."

  • "First time here. We were impressed with the open airy and light decor. The server was on his "A Game." Normally we go straight for wine but they had interesting and well made cocktails. A nice change. The menu choices were diverse and interesting which is part of why you go. The scallop appetizer was a bit skimpy, but good. The Trout was excellent and well filleted. They are very difficult to fillet so every bone is removed. Portions were fine. The timing was correct as we never were in the position of rushing to finish an appetizer because the entree had arrived. We would go back but not for a few weeks as the price is not for the faint of heart. It was busy but not uncomfortably busy."

  • "We dined at Bramble & Brine on a busy Saturday night in late July. We arrived a little early and sat at the bar until our table was prepared. We were seated about 10 minutes later at a wonderful two-top near the entrance. Our waitress was efficient during the course of our meal but she conveyed little personality or enthusiasm about anything. And strangely, I would say the same thing about the food. Our entrees included the salmon and the pork tenderloin. Both meals were good but nothing special, as they lacked 'personality' or a 'wow factor' that you might expect given the cost. Perhaps in time the owners will fine tune (lose the Werther's Originals please), but until then, I'd suggest trying the chef's tasting menu at A(muse) instead."

However, it was out of my first choice entree this time and my companions said they had the same experience when they had previously dined there. I have heard great things about Sunday brunch and want to try that next. The service is perfect, attentive, yet unobtrusive."

  • "This was our first time at this new Rehoboth spot. Based on the reviews I was unsure what type of experience we would have but my fears turned out to be unfounded. The food was excellent as was the service. Previous reviewers mentioned and I agree, ask to be seated in the main dining area not off to the side of the bar. While they have rearranged the area to make it feel less crowded and more private it still feels a bit like being shunted off to the kids' table."

  • "They don't have a website yet so we couldn't review the menu ahead of time. Great food selection and updated versions of classic cocktails. Small space. Give a good hour and a half to get through the meal. The rabbit was outstanding. My friend said the salmon was the best he ever tasted. Nicest rib eye steak I've ever seen and cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding. We were a party of 7. One meal did not come out with the rest of the food. The wait was about 5 minutes but they apologized profusely and took the meal of our ticket. A true gem hidden in Rehoboth Beach. If you want to do a special dinner while on vacation, this is the place to go. Note: Bar area is small and tightly sits about 10 people at max."

  • "Fantastic! We went there with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed the dinner from start to finish. The Rib-eye and all of it's special preparations is to die for. The Duck breast was the best I've every had. The Spare Rib was very good (VERY large) The Deserts were Awesome. And the wine list had some real gems tucked in it that the owner steered us too. - My only disappointment was no espresso to go along with desert. We will dine here each time we go to Rehoboth."

  • "Bramble and Brine is a very pretty restaurant and rather elegant and very pricey for "beachy" Rehobeth. Three of us ordered halibut which came out cold and and one had to be sent back because it was overcooked. and replaced with a seared salmon ordered rare but it was cold and raw in the middle. The short-rib which was highly recommended and described as "falling off the bone" was an enormous bone of fat- bordering on disgusting. It was subsequently replaced with a 1/2 chicken that was nice. The cake pop desert was nothing special. In the end the manager came to apologize and took off at least half the bill including our drinks- a gesture that this restaurant wants to build a clientele in-spite of a kitchen that needs to improve."

  • "Me and my fiance made reservations at this little gem a few weeks in advanced. We have been many many places and eaten many different types of food, but this definitely is one of the best places we have been to. The Honey Roasted Duck and the Rib eye were Phenomenal!! And portions were NOT tiny in the slightest, I could barely breath by the time i left! Cocktail wise, you must try the Basil Smash. SO smooth and well balanced, flavors for all dishes were perfect! The atmosphere was very true to the pre prohibition era, separate seating, but in close enough proximity that it creates a very open and communal atmosphere that is fun and suave. Service was wonderful, very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and dishes. Amazing."

  • "First time here and staff sat us in a narrow side room with a wine rack on one wall. Every time someone had to slide across our seats they had to say "excuse me". It doesn't make sense to have a large piece hanging near the patrons. When we got there, I saw a table for 4 in the main room available and mentioned it, but was told that it was reserved. I reserved a table as well; that was bad business not to give us that table. This side room is an "add on" and being a decorator, does not feel warm and inviting, more like being in a long closet. Food was good, although the appetizers were small and expensive. However, we had delicious duck and fish. I would go back, but only to sit in the main room."

  • "For such a pricey restaurant, don't get the 4 seater in the back with a view of folks coming in and out of the bathroom and kitchen, or a wall. The very ungenerous portions with nothing additional on the plate but halibut or short ribs were very good. Far too little food for over $30. The desserts we're also tasty. It is a fussy place, much made of elegant, Victorian decor, many wait people bustling about, but we felt overpriced for the level of fare."

  • "I was really looking forward to our dinner at Bramble & Brine, however I was very disappointed. I made reservations once I heard about Bramble & Brine. The restaurant left a phone message to confirm our dinner reservation. We called back, for some reason, they had trouble finding the reservation because our name was in small letters-really-at least they found it. The next day, they called to confirm our dinner reservation again! How many times are they going to do this? Once we arrived , they seated us immediately, unfortunately, it was right next to the kitchen and every time someone walked by, they bumped into our seats--tight quarters! The portions were small and they were out of one appetizer and two of the maybe six entree's."

  • "I almost never write reviews BUT this restaurant deserves major kudos. My sweetheart and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary here. The table had lovely rose petals across the middle. Our waitress, Emma was lovely- bright smile and very honest, comfortable, and informative about the menu. The scallops were amazing- would like a double order next time:) I had the halibut, which substantial with an awesome puree and starch partnership. My boyfriend enjoyed the rabbit dish. Our desserts were equally yummy- chocolate chip cake and cheese cake. We will be back in August for sure!"

  • "We have favorite restaurants at Rehoboth so it is a gamble to try something new. The locals probably know about this place and we have a new favorite. The halibut is a new entry and was perfectly cooked and presented. Our neighbors gushed over the duck and ribeye. I did have the ribeye appetizer and it was wonderful. And since the portions were not supersized we got to savor every bite and still want desert. I can't think of the last time I was remotely interested in dessert. For those with really small appetites, go straight to dessert. I am sure they are all worth the calories but my wife, who makes excellent cheesecakes, could not believe how wonderful hers was. I had the chocolate cake and I have never had anything like it"
