"The service is really awful. We spent 15 minutes sitting at the table before anyone came by for our drink order. The food is nothing noteworthy. Really the only thing this place has going for it is the garden area."

"Be careful - there's a bunch of construction just outside these days. Service is friendly albeit slow. I had to go find my own ketchup when the server disappeared for twenty minutes."

"I would go back. It was very quiet when we went early on a weeknight. I am sure it gets more lively on other dates/times. It's has a beautiful garden area. Even though it was cold out, the garden was heated, so we were able to feel as though we were sitting outside."

"Don't go here when there's a bar crowd. We had made a reservation since we were seeing theater close by, and unfortunately with the St. Patrick's Day crowd the service was disorganized and unattentive. The restaurant was cold and unkempt, and my veggie burger was overcooked and flavorless. Shame, because it's really pretty."

"We chose this restaurant for our "GATZ" dinner break at the Public Theater. The play was excellent. The dinner was also excellent, however, we did not have enough time for coffee and dessert."

"Many interesting small plates, we had several and skipped entrees. The best were duck tacos and the beets on greens, with a delicious walnut dressing. The ginger carrot soup was silky and perfectly seasoned, no overpowering ginger. We''ll return for entrees soon."

"I think you get what you should expect from a restaurant with Bar in it's name. It is high-end bar food. B-Bar's food and service would rate high for "bar food" standards. Good burgers, apps, drinks and a small but decent list of higher end steaks, chops, and fish if you're so incined. It is not fine dining but if your looking for a good meal, decent service, nice "scene" albeit late night it can be loud, this is a good fun spot."
