    Fare is $2.00 per person.
    The bus operates daily from 6:35 a.m. until 11:15 p.m.
    The bus stop is located directly outside the front of the hotel on Spray Ave.

  • "Needing a last minute reservation on a Friday night for three, this place was the only one with availability at the Fairmont. That tells you something. The restaurant is large, LARGE. We were greeted warmly and the service was friendly. Not fine dining by any standards but comfortable. The good was a tad on the $$ side for what you got, but they tried. We tried the seasonal menu and wine pairing ($85/pp). The pairings were great (the wine portions) and the price was equivalent to what you could order from the main menu anyway. We liked our meals, but there was nothing exceptional about them. I would only go back if we were ago without plans on a busy evening. I won't remember what I ate here in a day or so."

  • "Brunch here is worth the drive and the money - incredients are top notch, servers are friendly and welcoming and un-pretentious given the pomp that often surrounds the springs. The views are hard to beat as is the choice and quality of the buffet. I have to remind myself to do a walk through and resist the urge to pile up a full plate at the first station. The salad station is really well done with fresh ingredients (the pesto boccaccini is amazing) and beyond that the warm food stations are delicious - the meatballs and curry dishes are beyond good. Having brunch here with a couple of mimosas, overlooking the mountains with some good company is a pretty great way to start a day."

Since we had already arrived, we chose to stay and for a buffet, the food was good. We especially liked the stir-fry/fresh pasta station, so we could get made to order and hot food. Families with children will love this option for holiday meals, with lots of excellent choices for kids."

  • "I look forward to dining 'Bow, but my last visit will be my last time for dinner there. I had a special gathering of friends in Banff, booked about 2 months ahead of time, but we were given a string of tables that curved away from each other and sat in separate tables of 4. It was awkward, we couldn't converse easily and it killed the atmosphere for us. Our server was unseen, unorganized; drinks weren't topped, our dishes were piled up on our table and we had to ask several times for everything. My wife's meal was completely missed. In the end they charged us the group rate gratuity of 18% despite being sat separately & very poor service. The food was great, the amateur service killed the experience. Go for brunch buffet self-serve"

  • "We had dined here in October, 2012 and I don't think overall that the food was as good as then. I had the Trout and I did not care for the watery sauce. Also, we had an awesome starter last time - Mussels with Cilanto and it was to die for. That item is no longer on the menu. On the positive side, the service was outstanding and attention to detail was perfect. Of course you can't beat the scenery and the ambience. The pumpkin pie cheese cake which I had for dessert was very good and my husband said his steak was very good. I would return to the Bow Valley Grill for another dining experience."

  • "For a higher end place, they certainly had trouble making decent eggs benny! we sent them back a couple of times for overcooked(hard) egg yolks! and the ham was overcooked as well. very disappointed. on a better note our server was awesome and brought us a special desert plate out when we told her it was for our anniversary! overall though, not as good as it used to be - and we have gone 1-2 times a year for 21 years!! may be our last :("

But, this time it was horrible - food tasted like it had been sitting out for hours and wasn't that appetizing. For the amount you pay the food should be stellar. Highly doubt I will return again. Our server was great - very attentive and also liked to make small conversation, which is always nice."

Went there for a weekend brunch because we heard so many good things about it and after finishing our meal, we were left a little disappointed from the quality of the food and service. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before a waitress came by to take our order for drinks, but was good and attentive after the initial wait. Although there was a good variety of food, I definitely don't feel the quality was worth the price. I would only recommend due to location and scenery you have (as long as you have a window view)"

Our waiter was totally disengaged and our main courses (for 5 people) arrived in three separate deliveries each separated by several minutes. No explanation or apologies were offered. The food was presented beautifully, but two of the main courses were badly over cooked. Dessert buffet which looked great was disappointing as well as much tasted stale. Seemed like a high volume tourist trap. Disappointing."
