"The service and the ambiance were very good (we ate ouside on the balcomy on a warm spring night). My wifes blackened catfish and the my jumbalaya were excellent and I imagine up to the standards of New Orleans cuisine. My daughters mac and cheese left something to be desired, though. On the plus side, it was my daughter birthday and the were kind enough to comp her dessert.

On a side note, the wishkey and burbon selections were exemplary as was the drink menu."

"The food was amazing, flavors and ingredients were matched and blended well. The menu was full of original and unique dishes. The only reason I give the service 3 stars is because our first waitress wasn't so great, but they switched halfway through our dinner and our second waitress was EXTRAORDINARY!!
I would drive 5 hours to eat here every week if I could!"

"Had to try out the food here a second time in two weeks. Still great! The slap your mama pasta is really delish! The Hurricanes are totally great! If you want flavorful food that's different from the regular stuff they've got in NYC, this is a great place to go to."

"This first visit, for brunch, was a disappointment. My friends and I enjoyed the strong drinks at the bar (Dark and Stormy, Mimosas) while we waited from the friendly male bartender. Five of us were seated in the far corner (I like being isolated from potential boisterous diners to the extent possible) upstairs under the covered patio...it was a nice setting. The food was good. Beignets, eggs and beans, chicken w/ biscuits and gravy, po boys...all was yummy. UNFORTUNATELY, there is a wait staffing issue. I think our waitress (also the bartender?) had all tables upstairs and was clearly frustrated. All-you-can-drink mimosas and bloody marys were not forthcoming. They need more servers!"

"too many things that spoiled a good nite,glasses was spotted,the server inform us that if you wanted bread that you have to ask for it.The rice and red bean had breakfast like sasages patties the rice wasn't cook and the bean mixture was to sweet.the cornbread that came with the bbq chicken was glummy and the chicken was dry."

"This place is absolutely lovely. From the outside to the inside of the restaurant. The setting is lovely and really does remind me of the old french quarter. The food is ridiculously awesome! While the menu description of the food hits at the flavor of the food, you have to taste it to truly experience. Mac & Cheese, poboy, 2 hurricanes (wicked awesome), fries...seriously if i keep going on people would think i'm being paid to write this review! LOL In summary, the food and setting was great! This place is a gem!"
