BOURBON STEAK'S striking design was created by internationally renowned architect/design firm, Tony Chi and Associates. A dynamic twelve foot high glass box entry provides a dramatic welcome to guests into the breathtaking 7,600 square foot restaurant includes The Tavern, a casual dining space fed by the energy of an adjacent bar, a wine cellar and lounge, a large glamorous dining room with glittering mirrored walls and a "glass box" private dining room.

  • "Some restaurants tend to be very skimpy with their Miami Spice menus. This was not the case at Boubon Steak. We left filling extremely full. The lobster chowder and risotto ribbye were to die for! We also added on the truffle Mac and cheese just for fun, which served to be another flavorful delight. We finished off with both dessert choices which were equally amazing!"

  • "My husband and I, dined at bourbon steak Miami for our wedding anniversary. It was our first time here and I was blown away by the good and service. The duck fat fries are to die for. Best fries I have ever had. The cocktails were great. I recommend the bramble. We tried the Tuna tar tare, which is prepared right in front of you. It was amazing and fresh. We decided to share the porter house steak which was literally falling off the bone. Which went will with the mash potatoes but they were a little runny for my taste. And for dessert, the molten cake. Which was delicious as expected. Overall, my husband and I, had an amazing dining experience and will definitely come back again."

  • "Came here for Miami Spice with a few friends. We ordered the lobster corn chowder to start and it was very good. Loved the crunch from the corn. Had the rib eye for main course, which was fair. However, we felt that our rib eye was cooked more than we wanted it to be. 3 of us ordered a medium rare, and it looked/tasted exactly like our other friend's medium. Moreover, I felt that the dessert wasn't outstanding either. It wasn't bad, but this year's menu can't compete to last years. Also, the service wasn't great. We had to ask twice for an order of fries, and it took a long, long time for the food to come out. Granted, my glass of water was never empty. Waiter also charged our friend's credit card twice and didn't notice until hours later."

And even after a sumptuous meal, who could resist such great desserts ... from light sorbet parfaits to a butterscotch sauce made with 18yo Macallan. The bar has its own great menu, with a variety of classic favorites and novel creations. Service is attentive and informed ... top notch. Not a great spot on a budget, but you'll feel it was worth every penny."

I was seated late even though I made reservations and my server did not bring bread, duck fat fries or chocolate lollipops which is usually included with dinner. This was the first time I had a problem with service dinning here."

  • "Bourbon Steak is so popular that the place was jammed to the rafters for our 9 15 p.m. reservation. Our party of 6 had to lean in to the center of the table to hear each other. The music from bar area and chatter was infectious. The party next to us actually sstood close to us when they were finished eating and socialized rather loudly. We had to remind them this was a dining room!! Spice menu not as refined as last year but good. Zucchini blossom sold out; offered lettuce wedge salad instead. Pasta average with no special seasoning or additions. Highlight was "Snickers" dessert."

It is a little pricey, do I definitely suggest taking advantage of the Miami Spice offer. The service was great- everyone was very attentive & polite. The ambiance- very cool, very upbeat and the decor is very modern. The food- AMAZING!! I guarantee the taste is one of a kind. Who offers fries instead of bread as soon as you arrive? This place!! Perfect for a group of friends, or for a special occasion for only 2. And please so yourself a favor and get the truffle Mac & Cheese! I loved it, can't wait to go back!!!"

The wine list was somewhat limited but we found some good selections. About the only minor issue was the music. At about 9:00pm the resturant started playing music at a noise level that sometimes made it difficult to hear someone across the table. We will definitely return."

  • "We had a great experience at Miami Spice, beginning with the scrumptious French fry sampler brought to our table before the meal began. Each type of FF, paired with its own dipping sauce was fantastic. We could have made a meal out of it! The Spice menu overall was quite good. One standout was the appetizer squash blossoms stuffed with ricotta cheese, with basil and fresh vegetables on the side. The portions were sized appropriately to finish all 3 courses. Pleasant and knowledgeable waitstaff plus free validated parking made it all easy. The prices on the regular menu were quite high relative to other fine restuarants in Miami, but we like to return again for a special occasion. Thanks for a great evening!"

  • "I was debating whether or not to write to Michael Mina about our experience at Bourbon Steak at Turnberry. This was my second try at the restaurant. It once again was a loser. The first time One of my sons, his wife and their 2 sons at my suggestion, went to Bourbon Steak. All was OK until the food arrived. How after placing our 6 orders 5 arrived. The so called waiter stared into space at a loss for what to do. The resolve was that 5 of us had dinner together, I ate after they completed the meal. I would not return for some number of years. The person who really wanted to try the restaurant convinced me to try it again. I was her guest and so I obliged her. The evening started off very well. Food delivered was fat not meat."

The restaurant was not crowded but some how our service got slower as the night went on. Overall the restaurant was OK but you expect more than "OK" with those hefty prices. On a plus note, if you love wine, this place has an amazing selection."

  • "I find it insulting to have an automatic 18% service charge added to your bill, regardless of the size of your party (we were just a table of two), especially at a high end restaurant. I usually tip 20% for great service, more for truly outstanding service, but won't when an automatic service charge is tacked on. This practice is not mentioned anywhere on the menu."
