BOURBON STEAK'S striking design was created by internationally renowned architect/design firm, Tony Chi and Associates. A dynamic twelve foot high glass box entry provides a dramatic welcome to guests into the breathtaking 7,600 square foot restaurant includes The Tavern, a casual dining space fed by the energy of an adjacent bar, a wine cellar and lounge, a large glamorous dining room with glittering mirrored walls and a "glass box" private dining room.

  • "I was debating whether or not to write to Michael Mina about our experience at Bourbon Steak at Turnberry. This was my second try at the restaurant. It once again was a loser. The first time One of my sons, his wife and their 2 sons at my suggestion, went to Bourbon Steak. All was OK until the food arrived. How after placing our 6 orders 5 arrived. The so called waiter stared into space at a loss for what to do. The resolve was that 5 of us had dinner together, I ate after they completed the meal. I would not return for some number of years. The person who really wanted to try the restaurant convinced me to try it again. I was her guest and so I obliged her. The evening started off very well. Food delivered was fat not meat."

  • "I wouldn't make this my regular restaurant for dining purely based on the cost, however if i had unlimited funds or was celebrating a special occasion i would definitely return. The service was fantastic and the staff very helpful and knowledgeable about their menu. The food was devine. My steak was cooked to perfection. If you want to splurge and celebrate a romantic evening or special occasion, i would definitely recommend going here."

  • "The steak tartare appetizer was grand and we loved the complimentary French Fries but the main course, Ribeye filet, lacked the umpf needed to justify it's price tag. The restaurant was not crowded but some how our service got slower as the night went on. Overall the restaurant was OK but you expect more than "OK" with those hefty prices. On a plus note, if you love wine, this place has an amazing selection."

  • "I find it insulting to have an automatic 18% service charge added to your bill, regardless of the size of your party (we were just a table of two), especially at a high end restaurant. I usually tip 20% for great service, more for truly outstanding service, but won't when an automatic service charge is tacked on. This practice is not mentioned anywhere on the menu."

  • "I eat at Bourbon Steak about 6-8 times a year and like it very much. The ambiance is dark, romantic, and special. Fresh flowers are lovely and the bar is quite nice. The food is very good too. Nice steaks, decent but somewhat plain fish choices, and great sides...including a trio of complimentary french fries. But one word of warning here.... Bourbon Steak is located in the Turnberry Resort and therefore charges 9% tax on all food and alcohol. This becomes very high if one selects a costly bottle of wine or has a few high-priced drinks. Also, although the server may not tell you (ours didn't on this visit), they add in 18% gratuity no matter what the party size. So pay attention...."

  • "My wife and I went on a Sunday evening for dinner. Even by steak house standards, the ambience was dismal. The scene that evening is best described as chaotic. Sleep deprived children sleeping on banquets or running around unsupervised. Tables not bussed everywhere. Music all the while blaring. The food? Good, above average. The fries in lieu of bread is a creative touch. My steak was good and cooked perfectly medium as requested. My wife's rare steak was also cooked medium and had to be sent back. Most baffling is the wine list. I live in NY and even the most exclusive restaurants offer at least a decent choice of reasonably priced wines between $60-$100. I counted just 4 from Bourbon Steak's very extensive wine list."

Food took 30 minutes between courses, table was rarely cleared after a course was finished, waiters barely stopped by. Steak was mediocre. To their credit the truffle Mac and cheese and the French fries were very good. "

Food was very good but pricey. Drinks were excellent. Their house special Manhattan is a must have. Most rave about their duck fat fries, which are very good but, the wonner is the truffle Mac n Cheese side, their king crab and the beignet and molten chocolate and expresso desserts. Will be back many times. Check is not for the faint of heart."

The service was so good that we tipped another 10% above the 18% that was included in the bill. The service is quiet, unobtrusive, and excellent. The waiters work together as a team, harmonious, and symphonic. Wish the restaurant was a stand-alone and not in an up-scale and rather pretentious hotel.. The Tuna Tartar stands out as an appetizer and ALL the steaks are exceptional. The sides are on the smaller size and we'd recommend that each patron order at least one side. If we lived a few blocks away, we'd dine there at least once every two weeks. Superlative!"

  • "Bourbon Steak is a solid choice for diners looking for a classy atmosphere. The food is very good but steak connoisseurs may not rave about the meat. You will sit down to 3 french frie options with distinct sauces. Salads are good. We had a wedge and caesar: both were nice. Steaks are good and there are fish options as well. Mashed potatoes were a bit too rich but cauliflower was just right. The molten chocolate cake/ ice cream was great. Be prepared to spend a lot per drink. The wine list is overly pricey as well. Service is friendly/professional. We dine here several times a year. On this visit, we were seated at 9:35 despite a 9:00 reservation. This has occurred before. Nevertheless, this is a beautiful place that keeps drawing us back."

  • "We were at Turnberry Isle Resort for a last minute weekend getaway. We dined at Bourbon Steak both nights, having different dishes each time. The service was top notch.. A wonderful, attentive, friendly, knowledgeable wait staff. Both nights (weekend nights) the food was superb. Miso glazed sea bass was fresh and perfectly prepared. The bone in ribeye 20oz cote de boeuf was quite honestly, the best steak I have ever had. Every course was presented in a timely fashion and did not disappoint. However, don't expect to have an inexpensive dinner here. You'll pay over $100 per person for a full meal, without drinks or wine. Nevertheless, I'd say you get what you pay for here!"
