"The atmosphere was perfect for Detroit. It was a little industrial mixed with contemporary. I was somewhat disappointed that the restaurant did not offer grass feed beef, espically for being a steakhouse. The service was wonderful."

"The food is absolutely immpeccable. Had the bone in ribeye which was cooked perfectly and as tender as a mother's love. Caitlin had the KC Strip and again cooked perfectly with great texture and flavor. The foie gras is an awesome add on for the steak and the side dishes are wonderful. Wine list is a gem with something for every price range."

"The restraint was filled with so much smoke from the adjacent casino we considered leaving, but decided to stay based off the review for the food. It was worse then the bar sceen in RO before MI went smoke-free everywhere. If you don't mind smelling of smoke for a delicious steak then I'd recommend trying it, if you don't like that sort of thing (not for me) I would go elsewhere for a good steak!"

"I thought everything was very good at Bourbon...the fries were awesome! I also liked that eventhough the menu is pricey, it didn't feel too stuffy at all...great atmosphere..I did have to send my kobe steak back bc it was undercooked, but it came out perfect after that, so it really wasn't a big deal."

"Out wait staff was impeccable with timing. I felt that they knew exactly when they should and shouldn't come by. The food was perfect, everything was cooked perfect and tasted fantastic. Although not for the small pocket book, you get what you pay for in terms of quality and service. I've been here 3 times and not once have i been remotely disappointed. This last time I took my Girlfriend for our anniversary. She's not really accustom to finer dining. When we ordered a bottle of Risling that cost more then her usual $10 she was floored. She never even know places like this existed. Requested private seating and got just that, a nice enclosed area for two with no one to bother us."

"Overpriced entrees, small portions if you do not order a steak, no thought to presentation. Restaurant appears to want to be upscale yet the ambiance, cornbread, french fries (even though the only thing I enjoyed) clash. Drop the prices, add some new entree features and you might have something here. Oh - casino smoke was throughout the restaurant as well."

"Food was really great. Waitstaff was good, but always rushing and food was slow to the table.. Understandably it was a busy Saturday night...but for the menu cost there should be more help on staff. I would still recommend. The maitre d was very knowledgable of the wine list and was able to help with a nice selection of red wine. A very energetic scene as opposed to a more subdued romantic scene."
