Bouquet Restaurant and Wine Bar, located in the heart of Mainstrasse Village in Covington, opened its doors in the fall of 2007 under the ownership of Chef Stephen Williams. Bouquet offers the unique experience of fine dining in a cozy and intimate atmosphere, serving a seasonal menu of contemporary American cuisine, which features fresh and locally grown ingredients. Recently presented with an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine, we have an extensive list of over 200 wines from around the globe.   • "This was our first visit to Bouquet. I love the atmosphere on Main Street; the outdoor dining setting is really nice. The food was good, but in my opinion the entrees could have used more seasoning and maybe a sauce - our two entrees were both missing something. Our soups and salads were quite good. We did not have dessert, although the dessert menu was appealing. We will likely dine here again, but I will opt for an appetizer instead of an entree."

  • "This place is outstanding, if food and service excellence top your dining priorities. I selected the heralded halibut, and it equaled every laudatory comment. The stunner was the chicken, sampled from my friend's entree selection. I previously avoided this fowl, because of a (well-founded) knowledge that chicken is, in most instances, ordinary. Not so at Bouquet; I'd be hard-pressed to say which entree was superior. The service was engaging and friendly---they went the second mile to assure an enjoyable dining experience. It's the perfect special occasion location---or if you're simply in the mood to be wowed by splendid flavors and creativity."

  • "We arrived sitting at a nice table for two located near the bar. That turned out to be our first mistake as as the bar filled in it got a bit crowed and noisy. The second issue was the web site wine list and the list presented were so very different. When I inquired of the difference our waiter/bartender/manager informed my wife and I that the list changed all the time and they never had more than 2 to 4 bottles of any wine listed at any time. This seemed strange to me as this was supposed to be a Wine Spectator award winner. For me this failed as the waiter nearly filled my wine to the top of the glass in an effort to empty the bottle and turn the table. When it came to the meal it was over priced in relation to what was received."

  • "This is one of the best restaurants in the Tri State area. Very nice looking interior and the food is inventive and very tasty. Our server Sybilka was excellent and of great assistance in describing dishes etc. We had met her once before and she remembered us. Worth a trip to Covington from Cincinnati to taste this excellent restaurant."

  • "This was our second visit to Bouquet on trips to the Cincinnati area. The first was such a delight that we had to return. We were not disappointed. The evening's menu special featured South African King Klipfish in a superb preparation and presentation. Amazing ! Asparagus salad was another selection which truly sparkled. As would be expected in a Wine Bar, there are plenty of interesting and well chosen selections available by the glass and bottle. Service was smooth, low-key and friendly on both of our visits. We dined inside, but sidewalk dining was also popular on the evening we visited. "

  • "This was our first experience at Bouquet and will certainly not be our last. My family surprised me with dinner here based upon the stellar Open Table reviews! Exeperience was great. Menu is small but emphasizes local markets - a good theme.Service was very good and attentive. Wine list is good - a little steap for higher end bottles, but a very good selection is available. We went with a carafe of a French syraz- blend that was exceptional. For dinner the 4 of us ordered diffferent entries: chops, Pacific open-water salmon (nightly special), chicken and a "local meat" burger. All were very well prepared and displayed - most important everything tasted great! "

  • "For anyone in the NKy area this is a must eat at destination. The server was knowledgeable and friendly, the ambiance was nice and quiet for a wonderful meal. The food was incredible, the chef is a culinary genius. We had a cheese and chataccurie plate for an appetizer, which was perfect. I had the roasted duck and my wife the chicken, and they were literally incredibly well put together entree's, with outstanding flavors. Then dessert, both of which were perfect. This is a smaller restaurant, so be sure to look for it on Main Street. The meal and wine were not cheap but not overly expensive, but it was so worth the price. We will be back...soon I'm sure."

  • "We enjoyed another splendid meal at Bouquet. Chef Stephen Williams and team get better every time I'm there. We particularly enjoyed the carefully selected local meats and produce. My lamb was a deep and soulful dish with huge flavor. Even the Frenchman in our company was impressed! The wine list is easily one of the best in the city, with a great mix of high end wine, compelling esoteric wines from around the world, and excellent small vineyard quality; I am a wine educator and not easily impressed, and this list scored points with me. Other than the fact that the large party next to us included a gentleman who thought it appropriate to share his singing talents with the entire restaurant, the noise level was moderate. "

Loved the wine flight where we got to choose the wines, loved the sweet potato flatbread with lamb sausage, were amazed by the unique food ingredients (fiddlehead ferns, ramps, lion's mane mushroom, fresh white asparagus) and our server Josh was terrific. Truly a neighborhood gem fit for foodies!"

  • "We love dining at Bouquet - it's casual-chique and cozy atmosphere make it a great date night! The seasonal menu has selections that are delicously unique and prepared to perfection. Saturday night, we had the short ribs and the lamb which were both outstanding! The wine selection is one of the best in the area and the servers are more than happy to suggest parings that compliment anything on the menu. Our server was friendly, very knowledgeable and timed our courses perfectly for a nice relaxing evening. If you're looking for a great place to take someone to dinner, this is it!!"

  • "Our second time at Bouquet was almost as good as the first - which is saying a lot as it was darn near perfect the first time. The bistro steak is still one of the most flavorful I've ever had. The salmon was a little underdone, but that may have been us just misunderstanding "medium" for fish. Service was again extraordinary, the salmon was redone as unobtrusively and quickly as you could ever expect. Bouquet has one of my favorite wine lists in Cincinnati. Not extensive in each country or grape category, but everything is there, including reasonably priced alternatives. We will definitely be back."

Our server, Dustin, took the time to answer all of our questions and made several excellent recommendations. For example, we were allowed to replace the tofu in one entrée with the king salmon. The presentation and quality of the food more than lived up to the description on the menu. This is one spot that we will definitely return too."

  • "Once again we had a wonderful meal and experience at Bouquet. When we arrived, we were told that our table was on the 2nd floor of the building. I had heard that the restaurant was expanding, and have recently finished out the second floor. I was impressed, the space is broken-up in three large comphortable dining areas with ample circulation for the servers. One of the spaces can be closed to provide a large private dining room. The 2nd floor space also includes a bar and restrooms, enabling the entire 2nd floor as a viable private party / event space."
