  • "Appears to be a house converted into a restaurant. Downside was we drove by it 3 times before seeing the sign or number as it is on a busy street and we couldn't creep along to look closely. Parking is in the back. We met friends from Bay Area for brunch to some of the choices above N/A. There are a couple of small tables on the front porch but wouldn't advise due to busy street and HOT in Elk Grove in summer. Would return again."

  • "As always Blvd Bistro delivers the most amazing meal. This is our special place that we always go for our birthday's and anniversaries. The owner/chef is so friendly and a gifted chef. His staff is wonderful and the ambience is like no other restaurant in Elk Grove. This is why it is our favorite place to eat when we want to treat our selves to something amazing. Looking forward to Blvd Bistro open for lunch some days during the holiday season. Nothing makes a special holiday lunch with special friends then going to the Bistro!"

  • "We had another fantastic dining experience at Boulevard Bistro in Old Town Elk Grove. We go there on special occasions and sometimes just to treat our palates to the great seasonal menu that never fails to impress. The friendly management/wait staff and the intimate atmosphere make the Boulevard Bistro a dining experience you won't soon forget. It is truly THE best restaurant in town."

  • "Every meal I have had at Blvd Bistro has been good. Staff is always attentive, also. I love their filets, better than at most places. The appetizers for sharing were nice. Wine is generally good and creme brulee is wonderful! It is my favorite EG restaurant, good for a nice conversation (not too noisy), a special occasion, a romantic evening, a relaxing dinner--and always good for an excellent meal!"

  • "My friend and I had much to talk about after not seeing each other for four months. Boulevard Bistro's service was excellent. The server met all of our needs including great recommendations. My salmon was wonderful and my friend had the pork which she said was terrific. We both cleaned our plates! I'll definitely come back and recommend Boulevard Bistro wholeheartedly."

  • "My husband and I love Boulevard Bistro. We try to bring out of town guests here and our date nights are almost always here. The food is always fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The food is high quality without being outrageously priced. The setting is a lovely little house in downtown Elk Grove and it feels like you're visiting a friend's house for dinner. I recommend coming for multiple courses as everything on the menu is well thought out and worth trying."

  • "This my 5th time dining here, that speaks loudly of how much I enjoy the food. I try something new every time and never have been disappointed. OMG I had the lamb tenderloins this past visit, to die for so so GOOD. Then I tried my son's pork chop with apple and that was sooooo good too . My only suggestion would be to serve two half bones on the bone marrow appetizer - one order just is not enough for two people to share. Tried the sweet pea fritter appetizer and I wanted to now to the person that made that recipe DELICIOUS ! We no longer save your place for special events, that's too long to wait. Keep your standards as high as you do and Elk Grove will love you for a very long time."

  • "I took my date there for her birthday. Scoured the Internet for the perfect restaurant. I found it. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was just as equal. I had the rib eye, which was the best prepared steak I ever had. My date had the lamb shanks, which was phenomenal. I been in EG for 28 years, how did I miss this gem of a restaurant? Thank you Boulevard Bistro for the most perfect dining experience in my life. Your staff should be commended."

  • "I am not the reviewing type at all but this place certainly warrants some high praise. Everything we had was delicious and the service was too notch without being stuffy like some finer establishments can be. You will not be disappointed."

  • "A travel service .com rates this restaurant and #1 for Elk Grove, which is why I choose it. Slightly disappointed - not impressive wine list especially in the Zin. area. Our table for 2 was right next to one of the two unisex bathrooms with a view of the kitchen door. The food prices are higher than shown thru the OpenTable - salmon was $20.00, and speaking of price...be sure to check every line on your check before leaving as we were charged for 2 drinks we never ordered or drank (which was removed when mentioned.) The following evening we dined at The Brick House also in Elk Grove, this spot was rated #2 by the other .com web site - we enjoyed it more and this wine list offered four different Zins. by the glass all from local wineries."

  • "Overall, it was a lovely dining experience. It is a small restaurant, an older home converted into a restaurant with a small menu for Sunday brunch. The selections were nicely varied and perfectly sufficient. The shrimp & grits was almost perfect...it was just a little spicy. The eggs benedict was delicious as were the sparkling wine variations. The simplicity in decor was actually refreshing & added to the quaint ambiance. It was a perfect choice for an intimate brunch. The service was delightful as well. Waitstaff were attentive & responsive but not intrusive. I will recommend the establishment to others."

  • "The restaurant is in a refurbished and well-decorated older home in Elk Grove. Initially, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our table to be set up, however it was well worth with the wait. The wedge lettuce salad was uniquely well presented and the buttermilk dressing was quite flavorful. I had a glass of Michael David's "Petite Petit," which went especially well with our entrées."

  • "With an abundance of chain restaurants in the city, this neighborhood gem is a must! Perfect for a special occasion or date night. We started with two appetizers (Bone Marrow and Burrata), then continued with salads (Frisee and Beet). Both appetizers and salads were absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were spot on. For our main courses we ordered the Rib Eye and the Pig Cheeks - both were phenomenal! Dessert was delicious as well. A great dining experience does not happen without great service. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and our waiter was friendly and attentive. Our reservations were at 6:45 and we didn't leave the restaurant until 10 - it's a true food experience."

  • "Special 45th anniversary dinner. Michael was geat in explaining menu and being patient for us to place our orders while we waited for our wine to breath a bit, after he had assisted in the wine selection. We don't dine out much in Sacto area other than burgers and brew and pizza, most of our dining out is in Pacific Grove or Portland. Boulevard Bistro is a wonderful place for an enjoyable dining experience and great food...right here in Elk Grove!!!"
