Boulder Creek - BrownsburgReliable and ConsistentAlthough the outdoor dining looks out on the parking lot, it is still quite nice on a cool evening. Service was top notch with our very accomodating waiter. We try something different on the menu each visit and have never been disappointed with the quality, flavor, presentation or price. The staff goes out of their way to insure we always enjoy our dining out experience. Three of us were very happy with our meals. The fourth was fish and fries. The fries came out cold. That was immediately rectified. I noticed there were three itty-bitty pieces of fried fish on the plate. I didn't know until we got home that the fish was cold and the cole slaw was warm. I am sure had something been said, that would have been fixed as well. But shame on the kitchen for timing it so poorly! We loved the salads and the ribs, but were not so crazy about the blackened Mahi Mahi. We visited Boulder Creek on Easter Sunday evening for a 6:00pm reservation. The shift manager was friendly and we missed the brunch rush treated to a relatively quiet, and sparsely filled back bar room with tvs. Our server was appropriately friendly and attentive. Between the 4 of us, we ordered calamari (excellent), braised pork shoulder (good flavor but a bit on the mushy side, seafood broil (excellent), chicken scaloppini (excellent but didn't care for the bleu cheese potatoes), and grilled sea scallops (fantastic and surprising tomato beurre blanc).
