Six of us had a gift certificate for Bouchon so we went together. The food was good. The music was very loud and had to ask it to be turned down. Service was good, but not overly present.

After our previous experience here we were hoping things would go better on our next visit. Thankfully, things were much better. We dined earlier and pretty much had the place to ourselves which is a bonus if you enjoy a nice quiet dinner with your spouse. The oysters were superb and my wife's mussel entree was outstanding as well. As was my lamb shoulder with beans and a ton of garlic. Outstanding. Definitely visit Bouchon if you're in the area because they will take very good care of you.

Amazing and a favorite- have been year after year and it is always a perfect experience. The servers truly know how to guide you and the food is wonderful. (Not a great place for children- a bit fancy and small dining room.) Feels a lot like Europe to me! Make your reservations far in advance!

I think this restaurant is riding on former glory. Aside from an attitude of superiority beginning with the host who informed me that I wasn't in Kansas anymore, I feel that more than $350 for a bistro dinner for 3 for chicken, salad, wine by the glass and a totally flat pear tart for dessert is out of line. And to think I was disappointed that I didn't score a reservation at the Laundry. I would have easily spent $1000 for mediocrity.

I loved the patio for dining as I had my dog/kid with me. It was cold and did rain but we were kept warm with outdoor heaters and protected by awning! The commotion of deliveries really took away from the ambience for me, however. I was there at 12:30pm and stayed until about 2:30-3:00pm. The FOOD and SERVERS...EXCELLENT! Very spot on really cool people! I ordered the roasted chicken, it was perfect! I like it that it was a small chicken which indicates that it was humanely raised. The Brussels sprouts were beautifully caramelized....the squash was perfect! The servers' timing was spot on. I love the house red with that yummy tannin berry taste which was not too sweet lol I am a Chianti gal, so that was really a nice change.

My wife and I used to live within an easy drive of Napa Valley, and have had a couple of memorable visits to Bouchon previously. We moved to Florida a couple of years ago, and this was a nice mini-vacation back. Had dinner, including the best oysters on the planet, and fell in love all over again. This is truly one of our all-time favorite dining experiences. Can't wait to come back again. Actually, I think it is worth planning a trip around it...

My wife and I have been to Bouchon in Las Vegas many times. It is one of our favorite places to eat when we go there. We were looking forward to trying Bouhcon in Yountville with friends while we were here. We were disappointed in the restaurants small size and the noise level was off the chart and extremely annoying. We had a few problems with a couple of the dishes and one of our friend's entree had to be returned to the kitchen twice. She finally gave up. My bone marrow was cold but I ate it. My boudin blanc was nothing anyway near the quality of the same dish in Las Vegas. To the restaurants credit they did comp us all our entrees. We are planning on dinning there again this week. Hopefully the experience will be a better one.

This was my second trip to Bouchon and it was excellent both times. The service is excellent, we had no less than 3 people servicing our table. Everyone was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. The food is top notch and truly shows what it means when people talk about attention to detail. My wife got the rainbow trout, with just the chard and sun chokes it would have been an excellent dish, the slight addition of sunflower seeds added a texture and flavor that put it over the top

My husband and were looking forward to this restaurant, but unfortunately it was not that great. Too rushed, service was below average, food was mediocre, and far too salty for the price and the expected caliber of the restaurant. We ordered truffle fries on the recommendation of our server, and they were good, but when we got the bill, they were $18. I mean they are fries! Two other fries on the menu were only $7. Hmm.... There are better places in the area that provide much better value and service. On a side note, if you chose this Restaurant because you are Celiac and Have a gluten allergy and thought because they make the Cup4Cup flour that they would at least have gluten free bread, they do not. Not GF friendly.

The service, while very friendly and professional, was so rushed that it felt like the main goal was to turn as many tables as possible in the shortest period of time. This was combined with dreadfully inconsistent food. One exceptional lamb shank and one steak frites with beef that, while cooked perfectly, had the consistency and flavor of a medium-rare work boot. As a high end, relaxing lunch venue when visiting the Napa Valley, Bouchon completely missed the mark.

Fouth time at Bouchon. Always worth it. Visit during busy harvest season, restaurant was packed & very loud. Dined outside less noise, great evening. Had Gnudi for appetizer (pasta special of the day), so delicious!! Main dish Gigot d' Agneau (roasted leg of lamb with flageolet beans, garlic confit & thyme scented lamb jus, (outstanding melt in your mouth). My friend had the Rainbow trout which was also delicious. I'm sure there aren't any bad choices on the menu. Duck Confit always a great choice, had that on previous visit. Highly recommend if in Napa, located in beautiful Yountville. Definitely suggest reservations.

Was very disappointed. All four of us had a different entrée and only 1 of the 4 was satisfied with the food. The restaurant is definitely over priced for the quality. If you do not mind loud restaurants, then you will be okay with Bouchon. The only saving grace was a superior waitress that was extremely attentive. I wouldn't choose to go back in the future.

He went through the menu and specials without a hitch and offered good wine suggestions. We sat outside which was beautiful and enjoyed the more quit atmosphere there. The oys ers were spot on and the ham and chesse sandwich melted in our mouth. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said "I'll be back".justin

Bouchon has a long wine list that will meet any diners needs. Their food is delicious and service is incredibly attentive. It is on the higher cost scale compared to much of the Napa Valley but a great place to spoil yourself one last time. Like many upper scale restaurants the inside dining is set to seat as many people as possible, placing you close to your neighbors. For a more intimate setting, request outside seating where the tables do not have to be pulled out for you to sit and pulled out again for you to leave your seat. The inside seating is quite loud but manageable. The waiters, waitresses, and bus people have mastered the dance of moving in tight spaces and still meeting your needs. The overall experience was great.

I've been to Bouchon a couple of times now and absolutely love the food there. I enjoyed the outdoor dining area more than indoors, but the ambiance inside is nice as well (though it's a shame to be indoors with good weather in Napa). The steak was excellent, so was the wine. And next door they have a great bakery with incredible desserts (I'd recommend the macaroons even though I'm not usually a fan)

Often "chain" restaurant by a famous chef can be disappointing because it will rest on the reputation of the chef. Not Bouchon. I was transported home to France to a time when bistros were truly a place of gourmet local cooking. Sadly, that is passing in favor of pre-prepared foods. The selections at Bouchon were imaginative and authentic. Our waiter not only provided excellent service but, took the time to talk and give us information about the local area. This is a luxuary in a busy restaurant at noon. We did find the music a little too loud and a little "hurry up, finish and get out the door". Great foodie experience in the Napa Valley.

Reserved table for two through Open Table and requested a table out of the way, away from restrooms and kitchen. We were seated one table from door and along the aisle out of the kitchen. When I walked around the restaurant and found three tables outside that were preferable, I was told "those are reserved for others". We were on time for our reservation. Our waiter was excellent and the seafood tower was delicious, as usual. The Bouchon in Las Vegas is much more respectful of seating requests and not so crowded. I will save the Bouchon experience for Las Vegas in future.

Bouchon is a rare gem; an opportunity to enjoy dining up to Thomas Keller standards in a relaxed environment. My best friend and I have enjoyed Bouchon for many years, during which we have never had a bad experience. Before his wife died a few years ago, our visits to Napa would always include Bouchon. We would start at the amicable oyster bar where we enjoyed her favorite starters, cosmopolitan(s) and fresh oysters. Many, many fond memories. Pura vida Bouchon!
