    The food and service were terrific. In addition, my wife and I brought our five-month old daughter with us. The weather was great and we sat outside at a small table. The staff upended a high-chair such that the baby's car-seat fit perfectly at table height so that our daughter could enjoy the meal with us. Excellent!

    I took my friend to Bouchon for her 21st since this has been her dream since we started college. It was something we had to plan for since we knew Bouchon was a VERY pricey restaurant. However, it was completely worth the expense. Our reservations were at 9:30 so it was quite late so the restaurant was already quite loud. The only downside to the noise was that we could not quite hear the waiter has he made recommendations and told us the crowd favorites. Nevertheless, my friends and I were able to hear each other. The food, we all agreed, was AMAZING! Nothing could compare. The service was quite good, and they were okay with us bringing in a cake. They were even kind enough to bring out the cake when we ready and they provided a candle we had forgotten. Overall, it was great and I truly recommend trying Bouchon at least once in life.

    We stay in Yountville a few times aaa year. We always eat at Bouchon a few times. It never disappoints. The food and service are always excellent. Love the atmosphere. In fact we are going to Bouchon again tonight. Can't wait!

    We loved the food and service, and the lovely decor. BUT, we were in a banquette and they had to move the table so I could squeeze in there. The table next us was so close that I was afraid of knocking their food off the table as I squeezed in, and we ended up talking with them the whole evening, because we were so close, and they started up a conversation. Fortunately, they were really nice and fun to talk to. If they had not been, the evening would have been a bust, because we would have been forced to speak to our neighbor... I did not like that part of it at all. I loved the food though, and when I return I will ask for a table that is independent of other eating spaces.

    We arrived at 4:00pm expecting to order the beaujolais menu. We were told it was not available until 5:00pm and could not be accomodated. It went downhill from there. Service was perfunctory and it was nothing like the experience we remembered from a couple of years ago. We espected a country bistro experience and I feel like we were itreated like tourists in a shopping mall.

    Very nice wine list. Outstanding beet salad. Seafood entrees were very good and a very nice selection from the raw bar. The overall menu is outstanding, with a wide variety of offerings to satisfy anyone's palate.

    My wife came here on business for years, and had been bragging about how good it was. We extended our trip to Napa a day just to have dinner here. I was not disappointed. Food was creative, service was knowledgeable, and the old-school look of the place was timeless. Will definitely go back next trip.

    My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Bouchon. We had a reservation but were very early so we decided to eat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive and provided recommendations when asked which turned out to be great. The atmosphere was very conducive to socializing - we met and had pleasant conversation with 3 new people while we were there. And the food was outstanding! My husband had oysters, I had the poached egg salad and we each had the trout which was unbelievably delicious! I highly recommend Bouchon, especially if you're looking for really good food in the heart of Yountville - a very charming, romantic town. Thanks to the extraordinary staff at Bouchon - we had a wonderful time.

    We hadn't been here in a year. I was pleased to see they had returned to the classic mussels & frites. They were superb. Service was okay, but a little inattentive. My husband still enjoys the French ham & cheese sandwich.

    You'll want to be careful who you take here . If dinner conversation is your thing, learn sign language because it is BONE JARRINGLY LOUD. If this is an attempt to duplicate a French cafe "in every way" , count me out.

    I had to ask for water refills x3. It is very annoying to have wait staff hanging around to clear your plate for the next course when clearly you have not finished your salad. This is a common mistake made in many restaurants. Some people take their time eating a dish. Suggest some sensitivity training on this topic for all.

    Having traveled extensively, Bouchon has seamlessly and brilliantly captured the best of French cooking, culture and ambiance and married it to the best that Napa and California has too offer. Now, if our diplomatic relations could match this culinary accord we'd really have something! Our film entry in the Napa Film Festival won the Audience and Jury Award so all and all it was a perfect Napa weekend!

    We were seated promptly and had a good brunch meal. The chicken n waffles were the best I ever had but my SO's croque madame was a little heavy on the bread and slightly out of balance. That said, it was good enough we had dessert after brunch. The service was immaculate and very friendly. Would return but would try a few different things on the menu.

    We ordered appetizers and a bottle of wine... The wine never came and when we questioned the waiter, he couldn't remember what we ordered! He didn't take our entree orders until after we finished our apppetizers(without wine). And, when he finally took the entree order, we were disappointed that the special we wanted was sold out! The appetizers were very good, but the some of the entrees were just OK. Our waiter was disinterested and alouf. Our bill was close to $600. I think there are better dining choices in Yountville.

    We were very disappointed, I was excited making the reservation at one of Thomas Keller restaurants but pate du jour with a dusting of white truffle was a rip off and tasteless , I'm a french culinary graduate, I know food. The waiter was rude and acted like he was doing us a favor. Shame:(

    We were a little concerned after reading some of the recent reviews but, determined to see for ourselves whether Bouchon was worth it. It is. The service was top notch, the food was excellent and I do not feel that the tab was outsized. I had onion soup, then the mussels, with a glass of Napa Sauvignon Blanc. Sorbet after. Everything was delicious.

    After enjoying a starter of chicken liver mousse that was spectacular, We were disappointed by a tasteless "special"... a bland white fish made blander by a pairing with cauliflower, carrots, and kale. There was nothing to add even a hint of flavor except the garnish of poached lobster meat. This single bite was the only redeeming feature of this unfortunate choice. The mussels, on the other hand, were excellent! We love Bouchon and have visited it four times on our wine country vacations... This has been our only unhappy experience.

    Had lunch at Buchon on a busy Saturday 11/1/14. Showed up at set reservation time, waited 15 minutes for a table with 4-5 tables for 2 within view sitting empty that entire time, fully set - frustrating, for sure. Table service also quite slow - 45 minutes for first course (soup). And pretty noisy. That being said, the food WAS really good - terrific soups (squash and French Onion) and the Pan-Seared Sea Trout with lobster over broccoli risotto was just outstanding. Would like to hope the service improves, but, then again, with food like that, we'll still be back next time we're in town...

    10/31. I had Gigot which was like pressed lamb out of a can on top of beans which resembled Campbells pork and beans and overpowered which was supposed to be lamb. Wife had a steak and fries. Steak was small with 0ver half the plate full of fries to camouflage the size of the steak. Told server with a reply of I will let them know.Recommend that you never recommend anyone to go there.

    My dish which was lamb and beans was overly salty. The beans were in a nice broth but were dry or old beans were used. I make a lamb dish almost the same and it is superior to the one I ate at this restaurant. The service was outstanding.

    Nice drive out from SF for lunch at Bouchon full of great expectations. Interesting but slightly confusing brasserie menu eg, confit duck with lyonnaise potatoes in not an entree but listed in the section which includes French onion soup. Our appetisers were a well presented goats cheese salad and the afore mentioned soup. Both executed well. My main course selection of Skate was over seasoned as was a side of fries. My wife's Roast chicken was fine. On reflection I should not have expected so much ..... It was simple food , 3 out of 4 dishes ok . Probably could think of 50 places in London or Paris with a better average at half the price ... $175 with tip incl 2 glasses Pinot noir and a beer.
