A word from Bouchon
Highly acclaimed chef Thomas Keller (of The French Laundry) is behind this beautiful Yountville restaurant. Enjoy excellent French bistro cuisine in a dining room offering wonderful Parisian ambiance.

We invite you to visit Bouchon Bakery, an authentic, country-style boulangerie located next door Bouchon Bistro. The Bakery serves traditional French breads and pastries and is open from 7am - 7pm daily.

We food the food took some time. The steak I had was cold. Although there was large wine list there could have been some good medium priced wines from the local area on the list

Well, if it is any indication, my husband yelled "Best breakfast I ever had" on the way out the door at Bouchon. Food & service is fabulous! I had their homemade waffles and my husband had the infamous Croque Madamme. Tip of the day. . .your waiter will get you macaroons to go from their bakery next door so you do not have to wait on that long line!

Amazing food, reasonably priced for a Keller experience. Impeccable service. Things to know: It can be very loud during peak times, the four tops are roomier but the banquet tables are about one foot apart, and there is a wide spectrum of visitors; most dress appropriately for the setting but a few don't so be aware if celebrating a special occasion. Bouchon is definitely a don't-miss experience though! Some tips: For a quieter experience go earlier or later, 8:00 is usually quieter than 6:30. For a more private conversation or a bit more seating space, call ahead and ask about seating options. And the guy in the muscle shirt and flip-flops is soon forgotten when the fabulous bottle of wine and truffle fries arrive!

What a treat! My wife and I work in Private Service, and are decidedly picky about food, wine, and service. Given that, the food was really quite splendid. We asked for some wine pairing advice, and were extremely pleased with the results. The rest of the table service was only fair, which is a bit disappointing for a restaurant of this quality and reputation. Our overall impression was extremely positive, and we hope to return sometime soon.

It's pretty rare when not only does a restaurant never fail to give you a superlative meal, but when the service just knocks your socks off EVERY time! I'm pretty sure that Brian is the BEST server in the Napa Valley - and the rest off the servers who brought our water and bread - they were all FANTASTIC. Come here to be pampered, my friends!

My husband and I stopped for dinner, the staff was wonderful and attentive. The bread was served with freshly toasted pistachios...amazing! My husband had the lamb which he said was good but did not have anything special to it. I had the most amazing pasta dish ever. I believe it was referred to as a tortellini, but it was actually the perfectly cooked and delicate pasta bubbles filled with ricotta cheese with a corn and oyster mushroom sauce. One of the best things I've ever had!!

We celebrated our 25th Anniversary at Bouchon. The food was very good. The salmon rillettes was amazing. The only downside were the flies. They left the door open which let in the flies. We spent our entire meal shooing away flies. I expected more from a restaurant of this calibre.

I am a pastry chef and have eaten at Bouchon in Las Vegas, which has been A+ in every way. This location was disappointing in the following ways: the volume of music and the noise levels were deafening. It was very difficult to hear the wait staff speaking or the people sitting at my table which had a significant effect on the quality of our dining experience. In addition, the tables were so crowded into the dining room space that my 80-year old mother's chair was bumped by wait staff each time that they walked by. Needless to say, she was not impressed by her birthday dinner except for the food. I would not visit this location again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our late afternoon visit to Bouchon. We could only get a reservation at 3:30 so although it was an odd time of day, it worked out perfectly. The pasta of the day was melt in your mouth amazing - ricotta filled handmade pasta with sweet corn and truffles. I have dreamed about it since we left. Also, great risotto and salmon appetizers.

Bouchon is our "go-to" place in Wine Country, with consistently excellent food. My only small quibble from the last few visits is on the service side of Bouchon. The hostess could crack a smile and melt some of the ice off her shoulders every once in a while - she has been unwelcoming and cold during our last few visits to the point where it's become a running joke to see who can get her to smile. She appears frosty to everyone, not just us. In addition, we had a new female server (with Bouchon for only a few months, according to her) who also appeared unhappy. Fortunately, we had wonderful service from another woman who assisted in the dining area. Her warmth and fun personality made up for the others.

Very knowledgeable, professional staff. Food is always creative and amazing. Had salmon poached in olive oil-so moist and the vegetables served with were not only inventive, but so artistically placed on the plate. Fried zuccini blossoms with olive aioli-so light-compares to a tempura. Beautiful meringue, crisp on outside, moist on inside, with fresh berries for dessert. Not my first time here, won't be my last.

Generally, the service was pretty good although there was one very long period between my empty glass being taken and being offered another. The food was just not at all up to its reputation. The best thing we are all night was a tomato salad(which is as basic as it sounds but very good due to excellent produce) and my braised lamb special was waaaayyy over cooked.

I made the reservation a month ago for my husband's birthday celebration and our table was waiting for us on time! The food was mouth-watering and the service beyond compare. The only drawback was the flies. We had a corner table inside by the window and we were pestered non-stop with all the flies in the window. Be warned that in August and September the flies and insects are out in droves because of the grape stomping. Be sure to cover your wine or champagne glass between sips otherwise you will find "winged" surprises in your drinks. All in all OUTSTANDING and I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

I ordered the special pasta. The price was not listed on the menu or chalkboard. I thought I heard about $20 from the waiter, but it ended up being twice the price. Plus there was an additional $4 for a poached egg. Also, I ordered a Kronenberg beer. the waiter came back with another beer because something was wrong with the Kronenberg beer, but still charged me for it.

Standards are the steam mussels in wine broth served in a large, black metal, steel cauldron with a cone of generous and crispy pomme frites. Also a must is the chopped, smooth, truly delicious chopped chicken livers, served in a low cut glass Mason jar, with a clamped lid along with crisp strips of toasted, fresh bread from their next door bakery. Also, not to be missed are their mixed seafood towers. A half size for about $60 and the large about $110. Served on an large mound of finely chopped ice with a generous assortment of clams, oyster, jumbo shrimp and lobster. Naturally, the large tower has more of each type than the half tower. Bouchon always fulfills our expectations. Highly recommended. Ask for 'Silky' one of the hosts.

This is where the original Keller employees went to eat after their shifts ended, and now it's turned into another Keller destination eatery. It's a true gastronomic success. Great atmosphere, pleasant wait staff, and a very pleasant setting. Who could ask for more - whether just a regular night out or something more romantic? Thanks to my sister and hubbie who recommended. One cautionary note - you need to book early as it gets filled quickly. After that, sit back and just enjoy.

The bread was amazing and two of the salads were really delicious. The steaks were cooked right and tasted fine. The desserts were good. We waited 20 min before the waitress even came up to take an order and didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink which I found odd. Cocktails/wine usually are the start. So we ordered drinks/appetizers and dinner all at once. I kept having to flag her down for anything. And lastly had to ask someone else to get us a dessert menu because I was watching her have a lengthy conversation with a lady at a table. When she did make time for our table she was kind. I was told so many wonderful things about Bouchon so was just let down.

I was very excited to try Bouchon. I was extremely disappointed. The food was not up to the other levels that I experienced in Napa. When I am paying that kind of money, I expect a certain quality to the food and I was extremely disappointed. It was so loud and the tables were so close together you could barely fit without falling into the table next to you. To move the table out would of sounded like an easy task but the tables were extremely heavy. We were celebrating our engagement and it proved to be super disappointing.
