We were majorly disappointed with the endive salad to start and the service was forced and personable and lacking genuine hospitality. The steak Frites was under seasoned and lacked caramelization. The chicken liver mousse was very good however. Overall, we were very disappointed from the food and service even though we are big fans of TK's restaurants."

The lemon tart was delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall a good experience but not great."

  • "Da entrada aos pratos tudo perfeito, o prato Steak Bernaise é o melhor que já comi sem dúvida e também o mais caro do menu, mas vale a pena, a sobremesa Torta de Limão estava fraca, uma versão mal sucedida do clássico na minha opinião. Jantar para um casal com vinho 250/ 300 dólares. Vale a pena conhecer a padaria do Bouchon que fica ao lado, tem coisas maravilhosas."

We were fortunate to get Brian again as our server and he was forthcoming with information, had a fantastic demeanor and we never noticed a lack of anything. Lively atmosphere is friendly and fun.   • "My best friend and I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday meal at Bouchon. We sat outside since it was such a lovely day but we both commented on the charming interior. Each of us had unique and refreshing cocktails (mine was the Pont Neuf, with gin and elderflower). The wine selection was amazing and the Chenin Blanc we chose was perfectly cold on a warm evening. We split a delicious and unforgettable heirloom tomato salad with ricotta salata and basil vinaigrette. For my meal I chose the moules et frites: mussels in a fabulous white wine sauce and enough fries to thoroughly enjoy every drop! For dessert we picked up an assortment of macarons at Bouchon Bakery next door, where the line was out the door 10 minutes before close. So memorable!"

  • "My first visit was a disaster - average French onion soup, uncooked beans in the cassoulet, average dessert, etc.. This time around, all the entrees were good to great (squid ink pasta, swordfish, lamb, parisienne gnocchi, flatiron steak), the carrot soup was excellent, and the desserts were good too. However, the garbanzo in the lamb were not cooked properly.. I can now conclude that Bouchon does not know how to cook legumes properly - uncooked beans in the cassoulet, almost cooked garbanzo.. So, please learn how to cook beans without making them mushy. Ask any Middle Eastern or Indian cook..! Overall, a nice spot for a casual lunch, reasonably priced, but nothing worthy of adulation."

  • "I truly believe Thomas Keller is one of the most talented chefs in the world…which is why I have to believe he has nothing to do with the kitchen at Bouchon anymore. The dishes are extremely hit or miss, and it doesn't feel like there's any care being put into the execution. Moreover, on this occasion it felt like our server continually forgot we were there (or worse, didn't care that we were there), as we regularly had to ask him a second time for things that hadn't arrived yet. Unfortunately I think we're done with this restaurant. If you're looking to try a Keller restaurant and can't get into TFL, go to ad hoc. If you're looking for good French food in Yountville, go to Bistro Jeanty. If you're just looking for a great meal, go to Redd."

  • "We have been coming to Bouchon for lunch since it opened and are frequent patrons of its Beverly Hills branch also. Our waiter, Michael, was a delightful and very knowledgeable professional typical of Bouchon waiters. As always, the food was excellent. The only negative was the receptionist, who tried to seat us in an overflow area near the cash register next to the traffic lane from the kitchen. When we asked for a table for two in the bank of empty tables where we always have sat before, she gave us an icy stare and led us to a table there silently. Shortly after, she exacted revenge by placing couples right on both sides of us instead of the usual every-other-table, even though there were empty tables nearby. Point taken."

  • "We've been to Bouchon's at least 20 times over the past years. Always lives up to our expectations. The 1/2 seafood tower is a bargain considering the portions, quality, presentation and assortment. Chopped chicken liver is one of he best anywhere. Ambiance, professional service staff, variety of menu choices, French atmosphere, most enjoyable. The mussels with pomme frites, is a must if you like steamed mussels in wine, with crisp nearly shoestring fries. Reasonable prices for this type of tasty, quality food, that really offers the French Touch. Highly recommendable and a winner each time we're been there. It's only an hours drive from our Lafayette home and with a reservation, your sure to be seated at your requested time. Be there."

  • "I ordered Lamb Loin from their special menu when I took the first bite I figured that meat is pretty cold. I informed our waiter, he aplologize and took my plate to change it but I was a little bit annoyed when he returned with the same plate (just warm it up) instead of providing me with new lamb (I just had a small bite). I guess it is acceptable in Panera Bread but not in 5 star French restaurant that charge you arm and leg for each dish."
