A word from Bouchon
Highly acclaimed chef Thomas Keller (of The French Laundry) is behind this beautiful Yountville restaurant. Enjoy excellent French bistro cuisine in a dining room offering wonderful Parisian ambiance.

We invite you to visit Bouchon Bakery, an authentic, country-style boulangerie located next door Bouchon Bistro. The Bakery serves traditional French breads and pastries and is open from 7am - 7pm daily.

We simply love this place. I took my daughter for brunch and even though the place was busy as usual we were treated as an f we were the only ones there. The service was impeccable. He went through the menu and specials without a hitch and offered good wine suggestions. We sat outside which was beautiful and enjoyed the more quit atmosphere there. The oys ers were spot on and the ham and chesse sandwich melted in our mouth. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said "I'll be back".justin

  • Delicious

Bouchon has a long wine list that will meet any diners needs. Their food is delicious and service is incredibly attentive. It is on the higher cost scale compared to much of the Napa Valley but a great place to spoil yourself one last time. Like many upper scale restaurants the inside dining is set to seat as many people as possible, placing you close to your neighbors. For a more intimate setting, request outside seating where the tables do not have to be pulled out for you to sit and pulled out again for you to leave your seat. The inside seating is quite loud but manageable. The waiters, waitresses, and bus people have mastered the dance of moving in tight spaces and still meeting your needs. The overall experience was great.

Often "chain" restaurant by a famous chef can be disappointing because it will rest on the reputation of the chef. Not Bouchon. I was transported home to France to a time when bistros were truly a place of gourmet local cooking. Sadly, that is passing in favor of pre-prepared foods. The selections at Bouchon were imaginative and authentic. Our waiter not only provided excellent service but, took the time to talk and give us information about the local area. This is a luxuary in a busy restaurant at noon. We did find the music a little too loud and a little "hurry up, finish and get out the door". Great foodie experience in the Napa Valley.

Reserved table for two through Open Table and requested a table out of the way, away from restrooms and kitchen. We were seated one table from door and along the aisle out of the kitchen. When I walked around the restaurant and found three tables outside that were preferable, I was told "those are reserved for others". We were on time for our reservation. Our waiter was excellent and the seafood tower was delicious, as usual. The Bouchon in Las Vegas is much more respectful of seating requests and not so crowded. I will save the Bouchon experience for Las Vegas in future.

Bouchon is a rare gem; an opportunity to enjoy dining up to Thomas Keller standards in a relaxed environment. My best friend and I have enjoyed Bouchon for many years, during which we have never had a bad experience. Before his wife died a few years ago, our visits to Napa would always include Bouchon. We would start at the amicable oyster bar where we enjoyed her favorite starters, cosmopolitan(s) and fresh oysters. Many, many fond memories. Pura vida Bouchon!

We were looking forward to Bouchon. Food was just OK. Waitress was not attentive, I couldn't eat the snapper, had a less that tasty green sauce on it. She didn't ask how the food was or seem to care I didn't eat my dinner. Considering fries came with almost everything, we expected them to be good. At least offer a dipping sauce. They were average at best. On a better note, the duck leg appetizer was quite good. Overall, touristy, very noisy and overpriced. Would not return.

This restaurant never disappoints us. The potato puree (call it mashed potatoes at your own risk) may be the best dish still legal in California. Wine list is broad and varied, quite reasonably priced for Michelin starred restaurant. Service is friendly, informed, and prompt. In short, we will not go to Napa without a reservation at Bouchon

Bouchon was a wonderful dining experience. In a valley of very serious competition - we enjoyed our dinner here the best. The dining room had character - and was bustling with energy. The food was excellent - the ravioli special was among the best meals I have ever had. A definite 5 star experience.

Well, if it is any indication, my husband yelled "Best breakfast I ever had" on the way out the door at Bouchon. Food & service is fabulous! I had their homemade waffles and my husband had the infamous Croque Madamme. Tip of the day. . .your waiter will get you macaroons to go from their bakery next door so you do not have to wait on that long line!

literally - we had 6 appetizers which i understand is a difficult set up. The waiter was a true professional , did not raise an eyebrow. But half the dishes pretty good the other surprisingly bad - fried zucchini blossoms were greasy, the beet salad was very good, etc. I told the woman who highly recommended it to me that she was probably in love at the time she ate there.

Amazing food, reasonably priced for a Keller experience. Impeccable service. Things to know: It can be very loud during peak times, the four tops are roomier but the banquet tables are about one foot apart, and there is a wide spectrum of visitors; most dress appropriately for the setting but a few don't so be aware if celebrating a special occasion. Bouchon is definitely a don't-miss experience though! Some tips: For a quieter experience go earlier or later, 8:00 is usually quieter than 6:30. For a more private conversation or a bit more seating space, call ahead and ask about seating options. And the guy in the muscle shirt and flip-flops is soon forgotten when the fabulous bottle of wine and truffle fries arrive!

What a treat! My wife and I work in Private Service, and are decidedly picky about food, wine, and service. Given that, the food was really quite splendid. We asked for some wine pairing advice, and were extremely pleased with the results. The rest of the table service was only fair, which is a bit disappointing for a restaurant of this quality and reputation. Our overall impression was extremely positive, and we hope to return sometime soon.

My husband and I stopped for dinner, the staff was wonderful and attentive. The bread was served with freshly toasted pistachios...amazing! My husband had the lamb which he said was good but did not have anything special to it. I had the most amazing pasta dish ever. We celebrated our 25th Anniversary at Bouchon. The food was very good. The salmon rillettes was amazing. The only downside were the flies. They left the door open which let in the flies. We spent our entire meal shooing away flies. I expected more from a restaurant of this calibre.

I am a pastry chef and have eaten at Bouchon in Las Vegas, which has been A+ in every way. This location was disappointing in the following ways: the volume of music and the noise levels were deafening. It was very difficult to hear the wait staff speaking or the people sitting at my table which had a significant effect on the quality of our dining experience. In addition, the tables were so crowded into the dining room space that my 80-year old mother's chair was bumped by wait staff each time that they walked by. Needless to say, she was not impressed by her birthday dinner except for the food. I would not visit this location again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our late afternoon visit to Bouchon. We could only get a reservation at 3:30 so although it was an odd time of day, it worked out perfectly. The pasta of the day was melt in your mouth amazing - ricotta filled handmade pasta with sweet corn and truffles. I have dreamed about it since we left. Also, great risotto and salmon appetizers.

Bouchon is our "go-to" place in Wine Country, with consistently excellent food. My only small quibble from the last few visits is on the service side of Bouchon. The hostess could crack a smile and melt some of the ice off her shoulders every once in a while - she has been unwelcoming and cold during our last few visits to the point where it's become a running joke to see who can get her to smile. She appears frosty to everyone, not just us. In addition, we had a new female server (with Bouchon for only a few months, according to her) who also appeared unhappy. Fortunately, we had wonderful service from another woman who assisted in the dining area. Her warmth and fun personality made up for the others.
