In addition, we offer a $28.00 Three Course L'Express menu at lunch to afford diners a quick yet satisfying dining experience. Our wine bar, Bar Bouchon, is located on the garden level and serves small plates of French classics from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm daily.

Our Bouchon Bakery is located at the entrance to the bistro and is open Sunday through Thursday from 7:00am - 9:00pm, Friday & Saturday 7:00am- 10:00pm

  • "I am a regular patron of the BH restaurant and I'm always pleased with the ambience, food and beverage selection and the people who work at this location. However, lately, service has been very slow. My last visit, I hosted a lunch where one of my guests ordered steak and pomme frittes and his bearnaise sauce did not show up for almost 15 mins after he was served. At one lunch, it took approximately 10 minutes after ordering a beverage to be received. This is a great restaurant with alot of patrons, so perhaps more staff and attention to busy service times would be something to address."

  • "I have been to Bouchon for brunch, dinner and drinks; special occasions and simple fests; with a couple of friends or large groups. The restaurant has never disappointed with its food or service. Last night we went for Dine LA and although many restaurants try to hide the fact there is a discounted menu, Bouchon handed us the menu immediately and had it proudly chalked on boards around the room. We had a great evening and a great meal."

The food is uniformly fine (duck confit with violet mustard, salmon cooked to melting perfection (though a tiny piece), perfect French fries, bouchons with peanut butter ice cream, cold green pea soup, mussels, strawberries in custard). Problem was 30-minute wait between appetizer and main course--much too long, the place was only 3/4 filled at the time. We have had this problem there before."

  • "Aside from the sup-par service it was an amazing experience. My husband & I made reservations for my birthday which coincidentally coincided with Dine LA. The waiter spent all of his time & attention catering to the party of three next to us who enjoyed quit the order of the menu & wine list. Many patrons such as myself opted for the pre-fixed Dine LA menu & the waiter was short & abrupt with us the entire evening. Even when ordering items in French (which I speak) he would respond with "what, huh" leaving me the option of plainly pointing to said item, which murdered the romance & dimmed my experience somewhat. I would make sure to ask for a kind, courteous waiter when returning & not the pompous, fake, discourteous man who waited on us."

  • "Dined here with a friend for dineLA and really enjoyed their menu. I had the tomato salad, the Beef brisket, and the Valhrona brownies. My friend had the tomato salad as well, the swordfish, and the strawberries. All of the dishes were beautifully prepared and very good. The "El Rey" cocktail off of the dineLA menu was also pretty tasty - had a great spicy kick from the ancho chile with a definite aftertaste of apple. The restaurant was busy, but not too loud, and the service was great - very friendly, attentive, and quick with suggestions. Good restaurant for a special occasion because you have to be ready to drop some $$$ on your meal."

Everything was beyond our expectations, starting with a complimentary round of champagne to make up for hassling with the nearby parking lot (in the future, I will definitely valet instead). The outdoor patio is charming, the service was superb, and all of our dishes were delish. I would highly recommend Bouchon to friends and family and will be coming back soon."

  • "Restaurant week caused a few problems including a 35 minute wait with a reservation, 20 minutes to great water refiled as well as pouring my own wine. Dishes were not cleared quickly either. Of course, the room is beautiful. Moules and sausage were excellent as was the kale salad. My friend said the pea soup was too bland/tasteless. His chocolate desert was very good as was my great cheese plate. Our waiter, Michael, was charming."

Wish there was some signage (lower level is the bistro: walk through bistro, go to second floor via elevator, and enter Bouchon). The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Saturday brunch and we chose a nice shady table on the patio. Ordered chef's selection of pastries (flaky, buttery, bought some to take home) the Bouchon steak (great quality and used every drop of bearnaise), and the chicken and waffles (chicken had a nice snappy skin and the waffles were the best I've ever had). Everything was executed beautifully, just wish I had ordered something more adventurous; will make sure to order a seasonal special next time."

  • "I took my friend to lunch at Bouchon to thank her for taking care of our pets while we were out of town. I have only been one time before, but I really enjoyed it. We shared a salad, we each got a lunch cocktail, my friend got the BLT tartine with their amazing fries, and I got the moules frites (more fries, and BUTTER). Everything was tasty and their mussels presentation rules - there's a gate in the bowl to make room for dipping bread in the sauce. The service was perfect and it's a nice spot to feel like a rich Beverly Hills power luncher. If dessert is your thing, do NOT go home without pastries from the bakery downstairs. One complaint: they need better signage for the garage and for the bistro (upstairs from the bakery)."

  • "Been here several times but the last visit was different. Service was slow and absent for most of the time as if we were forgotten. We were one of the first tables outside and its almost as if they didn't want to come out there. The iced tea we ordered came out at the end of the meal and one of the items we ordered didn't show up at all. They didn't charge for the iced tea and the missing item was removed from the bill without question. To get a refill on my water was a challenge as well. Lastly, when we paid the change back was incorrect - in our favor which we alerted them to - but still out of the norm from past experience. Food was excellent, per usual."

  • "We have not been to Bouchon for a while and now I understand why. The food was really bad, my mussels were not fresh and very small, my husband asked for the steak frite and they brought him a filet mignon and when he asked, the waiter insisted that this is it. Our maître D' never told us that there were any specials that night and by chance I heard another maître D' informing the table next to us about their dinner specials, after we had already ordered from the menu. it is really a shame that Bouchon became so bad, we went on Friday night and it was relatively empty and now I understand why."
