  • "I definitely would return to try more dishes. The escargot was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. Not the best dessert list."

  • "Beautiful day outside, we sat on the terrace - even with two well behaved babies, we had great service and food - and a wonderful time. It was my friends' first time and she can't stop talking about it."

  • "What a wonderful place! From the moment we got there to the moment we left everything was perfect. Outstanding food, terrific vibe and the service was great."

  • "I had lunch off the Prix Fixe menu - the borscht and steak tar-tine - I would excellent. I loved sitting in the back in the booth. My new go to place for lunch."

  • "Service was top notch and menu interesting. The mussels were plump and in a great sauce, the bread (served epis style) was perfect for dipping. At this point the place was a 5. The sea bass, however was quite on the salty side, not enough to reject and return, but too salty for my taste. Still, better than most places in Beverly Hills."

  • "Yummy food, friendly and efficient service, great atmosphere like being in a Paris bistro in Beverly Hills"

  • "From the time we checked in for our reservation to our departure all the staff were extremely courteous & helpful. The waiter was very knowledgable about the menu & gave excellent explanations of how the items were prepared. The splendid decor added greatly to the ambience with the doors from the balcony fully opened to allow the cool spring breeze to provide a delightful temperature for dining. The entrees were prepared perfectly & the desserts were very creative & delicious. Everyone in our party had a great experience & I am sure they will return soon."

  • "The grilled swordfish, which was a special, was the best and the moistest that I haver had!"

  • "I found it too dark for me--one tiny candle is not great. I have a vision problem and need a bit more light. Perhaps some larger candles at the table for several of us that need it. Beautiful surroundings--great service--great for a special occasion. My birthday."

  • "Bouchon Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants. Food is delicious, service is impeccable. Have had lunch, brunch, and dinner at Bouchon and have always been extremely pleased with the dining experience. Everything on the menu is beautifully prepared and presented. But what makes this restaurant really special are the bouchons with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce......totally worth every sinful calorie!"

  • "We have become frequent patrons of this restaurant, in part for its sober elegance and excellent cuisine, but mainly because of the outstanding service and the fantastic Maitre D', Thomas Marini. Will be back soon and often. Highly recommended!"

  • "food was wildly disappointing. Clearly Thomas Keller hasn't been around in a while or he's just become complacent with too many restaurants"
    Dined on 3/28/2014
  • "yeah, you pay for it. but hey, mr. keller has a ratio of probably four to one guests to staff, and that ain't cheap. the food is pretty much all that, and everyone is on their game. as with most top notch joints, it's the little touches -- down home meets world class. bread served on the table, but it's made fresh that day. a little dish of pistachios brought with your drinks -- just because. my crazy friend asked for onions to eat with his pâté. the waiter didn't bat an eye. they just appeared, beautifully presented, as if the dish was served with them nightly. well done, sir."

  • "The oysters here are the best I have ever had. The pork cheek special was amazing. The chicken they make here is very tender. I would just stay away from the fish here. It was bland and had no flavor."
    Dined on 2/8/2014
  • "Good food and service. Only compliant was noise level, very loud."
    Dined on 3/23/2014
  • "Noisy. Order got messed up (twice). Felt unwanted. Needed to beg to pay. Did I mention going on a trek above bakery to get to and being told to go down hallway to "other" host? Waiter did try to be kind though."

  • "In short, the food was good but not great. The prices were so expensive for what you got and the amount you got as well. I was extremely disappointed. The service was above average. They weren't that attentive"

  • "I've been several times and the food is always delish and the service great. Although they are known for the occasional fried chicken (a couple times a month?) I had the salmon and it was fabulous. Sides extra good too. The last time was a party for 30 in the private room. Usually I don't like private rooms in restaurants--too closed-in and away from the ambience of the restaurant itself. But this room was open, glassed on two sides, and allowed us our privacy yet able to enjoy the restaurant, too."

  • "The place is nice. The service is great! The dessert item on their pre-fixe lunch special needs to be better than just 1 scoop of sorbet. Otherwise, we always enjoy it here."
    Dined on 3/18/2014
  • "You must come for a Monday night for the fried chicken Only complaint is the service kept coming back to rush us to clear our table while we were still eating. Which was rude especially since we were one of the later seatings. It made us feel rushed and not want to order desert fearing we'd be rushed on that as well."

  • "Bouchon continues to get better and better. Our most recent visit illustrates a restaurant at the top of their game. Every detail was beautifully executed, from the delicious bread and better, served almost immediately, to our server's patient and enthusiastic explanation of the evening's specials. The food was outstanding. Bouchon delivers hospitality on every level. M"

  • "We had a great dinner, especially the first course, the entrées left wanting more, almost like is the dishes were not finished. The polenta was quite atrocious... why a great dinner then....the company was awesome. Also, they misspelled French on the wine board which is really irritating."

  • "Having been to the other Bouchon's, this was spot on Bouchon. A bit over the top French bistro, but there's nothing wrong with that. Went with my wife and son for dinner while in Beverly Hills. The raw bar was good, the duck confit app was delicious and my frisée salad was very good, albeit a bit small. Steak frettes, with truffle fries was terrific. The steak was cook just right and was delicious, with ample black truffles on the fries. A couple of glasses of burgundy topped of the meal. We were all too full for dessert. A nice evening in a beautiful space, connect to the Montage Hotel in the center of town."

  • "All eight of us had a great meal, delicious cocktails or other drinks, fabulous desserts and delicious epis and butter!!!! One small complaint is that the Coquille St Jacque was not made the traditional way and even though it was perfectly made ,it was a small disappointment. It is a delightful place to dine. Relatively quiet and elegant and you feel like somebody cares about pleasing each and everyone who is there."

  • "I made a reservation through Open Table. I searched for a restaurant for lunch with outdoor seating available for a special occasion. They confirmed, but didn't bother to tell me that their kitchen was closing at the same time as our reservation, so we were rushed into ordering. Not only that, we were not allowed to sit outside, even though there was seating available and I had requested it in the reservation. Food was fabulous but the experience was maddening and disappointing."

  • "Our first time at Bouchon was in Vegas, but this location is just as lovely! Salmon tartar special was fresh and great for a warm day, bread was delicious as always, my boyfriend practically licked his plate (corned beef hash), and the trout was delicate but filling (i have no idea what that little hint of citrus was in amongst the croutons, but it was so tasty). Our waiter was very friendly and talked to us about the dishes (he asked if I would like the head of the trout removed. Nope!). I was a little sad that the cheese tasting wasn't on the menu, but there were so many other delicious choices that it didn't really matter. Definitely go here if you like celebrity sightings or if you are a foodie looking for some french brunch action."

  • "Some may say the food is foo foo. Its is good food with a twist or upscale (hey - I am from the valley). Good ingredients with good seasoning makes for outstanding food. Note: I only use great for mom's food; so this place is pretty darn good. Had the chicken and waffles, pastry assortment, fruit plate, & salad with bacon (don't recall the name). Had these before and a few other things. Everything is always good. You just have to go an try for yourself; you won't be disappointed (its just a little pricy)"

  • "Food and wine service was attentive and professional, even with a crowded restaurant. Slightly long wait for food, but somewhat expected, given it was Saturday night. We may not have enjoyed the main dining room as much if we were out in the middle, but we had a corner table which was better for conversation. Food was surprisingly good for bistro fare. We all had hanger steak which was served with an amazing amount of frites. The steak was well prepared and seasoned. Would get the same again."

  • "Staying down in Newport Beach for the winter and ventured up to Beverly Hills for a play at the Wallis Annenberg. Picked the Bouchon for dinner before the play. We were so thrilled with the ambience, food, service and surprisingly moderate cost. It was a wonderful experience and we will return !"

  • "We have choice on the menu the cheeses option for couvert, with the bread, but the cheeses came all with the meal- coquille s jaques. All the dinner, at least, was very fast....we do not love this. And there is so much noise there!"

  • "Whether it's Beverly Hills or Yountville, Bouchon never ceases to please the palate"

  • "We have been to Bouchon many times over the years. This is one of the best places to feel Parisian in L.A. We think the food is delicious, the setting fabulous and the service is good. One of our favorites!"
    Dined on 2/28/2014
  • "No one informed us that no one in a party will be seated until everyone is there. Dinner was good, the noise level much too loud. The wait staff did not check-in with us periodically to see if everything was alright, causing lots of issues. We felt like we were an imposition. The way we were treated was sad, because my guests had flown-in from Tokyo and were looking forward with pleasure to a memorable, delightful dining experience at Bouchon Bistro in Beverly Hills. Maybe next time, we'll dine at Il Fornaio, where the service and food are always A+."

  • "We had a delicious (and I mean DELICIOUS meal), a wonderful waiter with just the right amount of comic interaction, and a beautiful, comfortable booth. A top-notch experience in every way."
    Dined on 2/27/2014
  • "Friends and I used to love this dining gem, but our experience this week was a huge disappointment. Reason: way too noisy, ruining what was anticipated to be a joyous get-together! The piped-in music was not only too loud, it was decidedly inappropriate for the kind of upscale restaurant Bouchon is reported to be. We urge the management to make changes in the interior atmosphere to encourage diners like us to return. Perhaps in the future we would dine at Bar Bouchon where we could hear each other's conversation, but not upstairs until changes are made. Please know that loud music ruins your once pleasant atmosphere!"
