Bouchon at The VenetianFood is consistently excellent.Food is consistently excellent. Service is a lot better than most restaurant. Always came back to this restaurant whenever I'm in Las Vegas. Bouchon is a must when you visit Vegas.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWe will always go back forWe will always go back for the Pate Foie Gras....absolutely spectacular!5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMEat on the Patio by the fountainWe have a lot of love for Thomas Kellers restaurants, so we cabbed it from the MGM to the Venetian for dinner at "Bouchon." (The Venetian is a terrific over the top presentation of classic Italian art and architecture.) Bouchon has a beautiful "Lived in" decor with a very lovely, romantic patio/terrace. Request an outdoor table. Inside is sometimes very noisy. The food is what you might expect, with the caveat that the coffee is closer to diner coffee than the fab French press deliciousness you'll find at his other restaurants. Service is good, but not up to the normal Keller standard. Sit by the fountain outside, it's a quiet respite from the frantic Las Vegas experience. Finding Bouchon can be difficult. Leave extra time. It's worth it.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMDivineWe're locals, and though we enjoy many of the great restaurants on the Strip, Bouchon has become our go-to when friends visit from out of town. Every dish we have tried, breakfast or dinner, has been perfectly prepared...you can't go wrong no matter what you order. The staff is warm, welcoming, and efficient in a relaxed way. Atmosphere is lovely, too.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Meal EverytimeWe love coming here for dinner when we are in Las Vegas5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellentExcellent, I knew Bouchon was going to be fantastic but my wildest expectations were exceeded. Dine at Bouchon and enjoy.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous French foodEverything we ordered was fabulous. The service was great. The price was right. The pâté is exceptional.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing food, awesome serviceMy boyfriend and I worked in the restaurant industry for a combined total of 17 years. We talked many times over the years about visiting a T.K. restaurant. While in Las Vegas this past week we finally went to Bouchon in the Venetian hotel. My boyfriend had a beer and our server recommended an excellent white wine for me. All of the food was amazing, from the flavor of the reduction served with the roasted bone marrow appetizer, to the temperature my boyfriend ordered the New York steak, to the texture of the Ile Flottante dessert. The service was equally stellar with the bowls holding empty mussel shells from the Moules au Safran never over flowed before being replaced. Overall, definitely worth the wait.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMBouchon DelightSuperb cuisine at reasonable prices. The setting is unique, a kind of indoor atrium feel. A table in the interior courtyard or with a view of the courtyard is recommended. By the way, Open Table was able to accommodate our seating request.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMA warning to lovers of boneA warning to lovers of bone marrow: disappointing. This is only the second restaurant I've found that serves bone marrow. Unfortunately, it is served with flavors that are much too spicy and overpowering for the delicate flavor of the marrow. I wish they would have kept it simple; just a little salt is all it needs.
The rest of the meal was very good. The oyster selections were very nice! Definitely a place for foodies.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe died for the foie gras.We died for the foie gras. We go to Paris every year and this was the best foie gras we have ever had anywhere.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMI took my daughter and twoI took my daughter and two grown grandchildren for a special dinner. We all enjoyed it very much.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing!Mom was so happy to eat here for Mother's Day. She had the veal chateaubriand special. We all thought it was the best dish! So tender and the sauce was perfect. Thin sliced potato accompaniment was artistic and rich. Scottish salmon was cooked perfectly; crisp on the outside and moist and tender inside.
Corpse Reviver cocktail was unexpectedly tasty! I had two...then spun all night! What a revival!
Note: if you sit outside and want to be able to talk to each other, try not to sit next to a fountain. It was a little hard to hear at times...5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent and unexpectedThe food was so good. Get the Mac n cheese and the salmon was fantastic. Service was phenomenal. Prices fairly high but worrh it. It was hard to find inside the hotel but love the surprise5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat foodMy wife and I had a great time at Bouchon. Went before seeing Rock of Ages. Service excellent, food we thought was just like the restaurant in Napa. No complaints. Started with the beet salad and the salmon tartar, both were excellent. Then had the beef short rib and the trout for the main course. Both were cooked to perfection.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBouchon vs Bouchon....After having visited Bouchon in Beverly Hills two weeks ago, I decided to take my friends to Bouchon in Las Vegas for the ultimate comparison.....I was not disappointed. The staff were true professionals, the wine pairing suggestions were right on point, and we truly enjoyed the entire experience. We left delighted, and our waiter was very kind to provide us with Chef Keller's cookbook, autographed.......Both venues match up perfectly in duplicating a memorable dining experience. On to Yountville!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMif you cannot get to ParisGo here. Close your eyes, forget you are in Vegas and you would think you are in Paris.
Food, decor, service could not have been better. The sommelier was outstanding.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat staffTook my wife there for our anniversary. The staff made sure every detail was handled, including flowers on the table, and even complimentary dessert. Very professional and polite. Very attentive and friendly. I WILL return to Bouchon again... and again and again!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food, especially the escargot,The food, especially the escargot, was fabulous. Unfortunately, our server may have been new and it took him quite awhile to take our order and the wait in between his visits to our table were too long. The busboy was wonderful tho. I would go back again because the food and the pricing was great.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience and reasonabllyGreat experience and reasonablly priced for a Keller place.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had eaten previously inWe had eaten previously in the Bouchon Bistro in Napa Valley and this restaurant was every bit as good. We went with the Chef's special for both courses and it was magnificent. Service was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. The Sommelier's wine choice matched the food excellently. We were so impressed, we returned two nights later.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMeeting Mr Keller!Hi going to Bouchon was the highlight to our American holiday the food and service was amazing and the highlight was to personal meet the great chef himself Thomas Keller. Thomas signed his book for my son Charlie who is studying cookery in Australia completing his personal dream of meeting his idol. Thomas invited him to visit his restaurants in the Napa valley which I am sure he will pursue latter in his career. I would recommend any of this great chefs restaurants to any passionate foodie looking for a reasonable priced fine dinning experience. Sean Edwards Cafe culture magazine Australia4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a wonderful time at Bouchon. We had a wonderful time at Bouchon. The food was amazing and top of the line. The service was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. It was a little loud (music and guests) near the start of our meal (9:45pm reservation). There was not much of a "view" although the restaurant was very pretty and you could see into the patio. I would definitely recommend Bouchon.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe menu has uniquely fabulousThe menu has uniquely fabulous options and our server was knowledgable and entertaining. It was a great experience.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMA true gem at the Venetian! We went to Bouchon at 5:45 as we had tickets to see "Rock of Ages" at 8PM, My wife started with a light mushroom and asparagus pasta in a cream sauce with a hint of citrus, and I had the mushroom soup, both of which were outstanding. My wife ordered the roasted chicken with English peas, bechamel, onion confit, bacon lardon, and Lolla Rosa for a main course, and I had mussels steamed with white wine, dijon mustard, and saffron, and again, both dishes were delicious and perfectly prepared, and generously portioned. As wonderful as the food was, the service was exceptional; the best service we have ever had, hands down, with detailed (but not overbearing) service beyond what I could have hoped for to ensure our satisfaction.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMHighlight of my tripAmazing food! And the specials really are special! The morel mushroom and asparagus tagliatelle in lemon butter sauce was so good I could have had three. My husband ordered the day boat scallops and I'm certain he felt the same way. The lemon tart is so intensely lemony and utterly divine. Plus our waiter was a hoot. Loved him! The whole experience... really outstanding. And the highlight of my trip to Las Vegas.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMparis without rude french waitersIn a town full of great restaurants, this one does stand out for the ambiance and presentation, the food choices were appropriate and wine pairing a bit expensive,
but in vegas you get what you pay for, service was very good, but we've been spoiled all week in vegas4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything about Bouchon wasEverything about Bouchon was exactly what I expected. Food was unbelievable and waiter was great. He brought two different wines with my courses that paired perfectly with the Foie Gras Appetizer and the lamb shank entree that were both out of this world. Prices were extremely reasonable. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Vegas.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMServiceable and food wereServiceable and food were amazing. Enjoyed the evening thoroughly.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBeen to Thomas Keller's restaurantsBeen to Thomas Keller's restaurants everywhere numerous times, and he never disappoints !
One of my favorite dining experiences in Sin City on every visit !4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMFaboulous, spectacular, memorable--Faboulous, spectacular, memorable--I can't think of enough positive adjectives to describe this awesome place. We had the charcuterie plate, yummy. I had the chicken (a revelation) and my wife had the salmon (delicious). If you're thinking of going, do it! I also hear they've got some mean chicken and waffles for brunch.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat casual like atmosphereGreat casual like atmosphere while still being able to maintain the laid back Las Vegas ambiance. Light years better than the Beverly Hills location.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best in VegasFantastic French with unique and deliciously outrageous fare .Our waiter and the staff were fantasticEat outside if weather permits4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was fantastic and atmosphereFood was fantastic and atmosphere relaxing. Definately a destination restaurant to return to over and over again. Loved th gnocchi.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMBeing from New Orleans, weBeing from New Orleans, we were not expecting to be overly impressed by this French Bistro. However, Bouchon rivaled any New Orleans restaurant. Atmosphere, service, food and bar were outstanding.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely dining room and imaginativeLovely dining room and imaginative food that is beautifully presented. The entrees of trout almondine and the mussels were wonderful. The only negative this evening was the private party of about 30-50 people at the entrance of the restaurant in an alcove. The noise level was at a roar and really hampered our full enjoyment of the evening. I think the restaurant needs to make better provisions for private parties. If this happens again when we visit we'll leave.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMLooking for a dining experienceLooking for a dining experience that was a little more casual and bistro-like, Bouchon was a fine choice. We found no fault with the food and would not hestitate to return. Service was good, but occasionally a little slow. That was mainly because the hostess wanted to seat us at a table that would have put us in the middle of the traffic going to the kitchen. We opted for a table that was one table further into the restaurant where it would be quieter and more romantic for us. All of our waiter's other tables were on the other side of a partition which meant he didn't always know when we were ready for the next stage of our meal. More of a staffing issue on a Tuesday night rather than the waiter's fault.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMStill a favoriteOne of our favorites, did not disappoint. The food is amazing, my entree was mussels in a saffron sauce it was unbelievably good. Love the frys, my wife had a salmon tartar that she reported was divine. Love this place for a nice dinner after a show.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service was very good. The service was very good. The waiter made sure to tell us when a special was out of the menu price range. Recommended good wines, not just the expensive ones. Food was great.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, great setting.Great food, great setting. Get one of the outdoor tables if you can...3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is amazing. Given howFood is amazing. Given how great the service and food is the prices are shockingly affordable. Try the mussels! So many we shared with the whole table.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMDon't miss out on BouchonFantastic sommelier, didn't try to up-select the wine but discussed our thoughts with us intelligently and respectfully, very knowledgable. Compact menu but great variety. Super fresh oysters, great food, excellent experience. Super service, good pacing. Removed from the hubbub of the casino, so if you are looking for a quiet break, this is the place.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWhether in Napa Valley orWhether in Napa Valley or Las Vegas, Bouchon is one of our favorite places to dine. We had a fabulous dinner starting with our cocktails (Bulleit Manhattan & Moscow Mule), then the Duck confit appetizer and finally the Steak Frites.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday and Honeymoon CelebrationWe were a group of four in our mid-twenties celebrating a birthday (mine) and the wedding of some dear friends. The entire staff could not have been nicer. We had a great conversation with the General Manager, and our waitress was wonderful. She explained everything on the menu and helped us to make our decisions. Our cheese plate and entrees was delicious, but my oh my, the desserts were outstanding. We tried the creme brulee, the mille fueille with raspberry sorbet, the pb and j donuts and the warm brownie. The best combination was the raspberry sorbet with the creme brulee. All in all, we had a terrific time and would recommend highly recommend dining at Bouchon.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMby far, the best restaurant in vegathis place was amazing!
