A word from Bouchon at The Venetian
Bouchon is located in the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, Venezia Tower. Renowned designer Adam D. Tihany has masterfully created a beautiful interior that features a magnificent French pewter bar, a vibrant mosaic floor, deep blue velvet banquettes, antique light fixtures and an expansive hand-painted mural by noted French artist Paulin Paris. The exquisite décor is the perfect setting for Bouchon’s culinary delights. Chef Cerciello rediscovers the classics, using historical reference points and classic French techniques, combined with a modern approach. The menu offers classic bistro dishes including steak frites, roasted chicken, quiche, brandade, boudin noir, pot de crème and profiteroles. The selection of fruits de mer is celebrated as one of the finest in Las Vegas. The seasonal menu changes throughout the year and is enhanced by a blackboard menu featuring the best products available each day. Flawlessly executed in every aspect, Bouchon delights both the palate and the eye.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "Yountville in Las Vegas. Worth the trip in every way. Loved the Certified Cicero --cool that Thomas Keller provided him with a scholarship to get his degree. Food, wine, beer, service all of real merit."

  • "Bouchon continues to deliver high quality French bistro food in a relaxed atmosphere (and outside by the pool is even better in the early evening). We had foie gras done to perfection, 6 Blue Point oysters that were outstanding, and then moles and truffle frites for me and my wife had the plate of the day (loup de mer or sea bass--real Mediterranean bronzino, not the fake Chilean sea bass), and two wonderful deserts. The waiter was outstanding, and the entire experience was proof that Thomas Keller knows how to run a restaurant. We always eat here she we are in Vegas and we have never been disappointed. "

  • "This is a very upscale restaurant in a beautiful hotel (The Venetian) I ordered onion soup, a lamb entrée (on a bed of white beans) and a side of green beans (everything is a la carte). Everything was bland and tasteless. The service was very good. I would not ever eat here again. Everyone in our party felt the same way. "

  • "The service and friendliness were great but the food was only average. My steak was served luke warm at best and I had to ask for it to be reheated. But otherwise a good experience just not great. "

  • "Seven years ago I had one of the best meals of my life at Bouchon in Las Vegas. A slow 3 hour affair with two lovely wines and a savory array of small plates. I returned and was disappointed. The bread was cool and boarded on stale. The sommelier pushed an over priced Rhone, the fois gras was lost in the butter glaze, the red pepper soup was too sweet, the oysters fair - the brininess seemed drained out of them - the moule were good but the accompanying truffle fries were more oil soaked with mushroom dregs and no truffle flavor and lamb with white beans felt reheated - the crispiness of the surface was more like an old piece of bologna. I am sorry I wasted my time. Food is such a teat and this one special find has fallen into mediocretity."

  • "We expected a little more from Thomas Keller concept. Do not get me wrong; it was not bad, but it was not great. Service was good and attentive. Libations are not a good value but you are in Vegas."

  • "Had breakfast and dinner on my last visit. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. The breakfast on the patio was a perfect setting, serenity in an Itallian garden. Loved the crusty baguettes, flakey croissants and delicious egg dishes. At dinner the lamb shank was tender and melt in your mouth delicious! "

  • "We had a wonderful meal and overall experience. Great opportunity to escape from typical Vegas and enjoy a quiet, smoke-free meal with excellent service. We brought our teenage children who loved it as well. The chef was flexible and altered meals as needed for the children."

  • "Always a delight. The food, of course, was exceptional and the service was impecable. Our server, Kelly, was knowlegible and attentive. We will go back as soon as possible."

  • "It was a nice experience. However we had the "Grand Plateau" and I do think there are too many oysters on it for "just" two people. You over eat and you start disliking shell fish. The crab however on it was great! We started off with the "Deviled eggs" which were the hit of the night. How happy can one be with something so simple and yet delicious. The onion soup was a little on the very heavy side since jus was used as a base and not a strong broth. We would order some thing differing than the plateau and the gratine (onion soup) next time, but would order at least 3 portions of the eggs! We also had breakfast at the patio, which was great and very good. Do not forget to do that when you are in Vegas."

  • "What a fabulous dinner and great fun with friends. My husband and I return here each visit to Las Vegas! The bread is better than the best and of course the wine list and menu make it one of our favorites. I always recommend Buchon to anyone visiting the Bright Lights!"

  • "Supurb food. Incredible endive and watercress salad nicely garnished with blue cheese and jicama. Great variety of beer choices in addition to expected wine list."

  • "Excellent food...I ordered the quiche of the day with greens on the side which was a kale/cheese delight! I was told it was an appetizer portion but it came out on a dinner size plate half filled with mixed baby greens in a light vinagarette and the other with a light, airy quiche (I had expected it to be more dense due to the amount of kale). My companions had the frizee salad and another had the Croque Madame. One of my companions was eating here for the 3rd time in 3 days...a foodie type...so it says a lot about the food. This was my first experience at Bouchon, but I would be sure to try them again in any of their locations!"

  • "There is no doubt that the food at Bouchon Bistro is excellent. The duck confit with lentils, in particular was a stand out. However, having to wait over 30 minutes for a table, despite booking well in advance, and the hit and miss service lessen the dining experience. The biggest problem is the level of noise, which is deafening. Wait staff are constantly having to yell to be heard and ask frequently for you to repeat your order. At my table, we could not hear each others conversation, despite being only a table of three and sitting next to each other. We all went home with headaches."

  • "No matter Los Angeles or Las Vegas, the experience overall is outstanding."

  • "I was somewhat disappointed with the service. We had an extreme long wait for our food to arrive which turned out to be ok. Asking the manageress about the chef and where he was from she, to our astonishment, had no idea. You tell me how a place can be run properly if management is that ignorant?"

  • "Overall the experience left me disappointed. The food was mediocre, the waiter terrible (awkwardly and embarrassingly), the ambience felt 'manufactured', and the price far from worth it."

  • "I took a friend to Bouchon, his first time and he loved it. Had never had foie gras and thought it was incredible. Too bad we have to go to Vegas to get it now that the food police in CA have outlawed it. Bouchon her is on par with Beverly Hills and Napa Valley. The wine, drinks, oysters were great. I had the chicken ( a little salty,) my friend the steak frites. Overall a great time and a great meal."

  • "What's not to love about Bouchon? It is a timeless place where you find the taste of gastronomic French cuisine. Loved the Foie Gras, asparagus appetizers, the duck confit, had a taste of the steak frites (excellent) and the truite (trout), all very tasty. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and our waiter brought 3 desserts for us to share. Having a knowledgeable sommelier was nice too. Just a great experience!!!"

  • "We went to Bouchon on a recommendation from a friend. Extremely glad we took him up on the recommendation. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The ambiance was very nice - open, light but not bright, classy. The menu isn't incredibly deep, but here is enough variety to be interesting. My wife had the Steak Frites and I had the Steak Bouchon. We got carrots with the steak frites on recommendation from Russell, our waiter - both dishes come with fries, and not a small amount either. Worth the recommendation. The fries and carrots were excellent, but both steaks were fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of flavor. Russell, our waiter, was also great - very personable and good recommendations."

  • "I loved the ambience and fresh gladiolus. Bread serve we very nice. The salmon tartar was pretty good, I thought it was a bit under seasoned. The accoutrements were very nice. The cauliflower soup had excellent mouth feel. The scallops were cooked beautifully but again I felt that the rest of the dish, savory cabbage & puree, was a bit under season. My sister had the marrow, excellent flavor. I really enjoyed the demi. She also had the lamb, which I thought was very good and the cassoulet had good flavor as well."

  • "ThIs restaurant came highly recommended so I was really looking forward to our visit. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was very good. I have to admit that I was a little underwhelmed by the food. While the truffle fries were amazing, my salad and soup were nothing special. I would go as far as to say that the onion soup was under seasoned. The desserts were better but I don't know if I would return on my next trip to LV."

  • "While everything we ate was delicious, the service was definitely lacking. Our waiter was very friendly, and very helpful but didn't really check on us or even offer us another drink when our glasses were empty. It was a Friday night, and busy but it would have been a better experience had we received a little more attention after we ordered."

  • "Best restaurant in vegas? Well, probably not by any objective measure, but it's my favorite. Unfussy, unpretentious, just great ingredients cooked perfectly. Understated isn't a word often used in this town, but here, it fits."

  • "We had one night spare to have a special dining experience and read a review on Thomas Keller that day in a Vegas magazine. We made the booking that day thru Open Table, very efficient. Bouchon us located at the Venetian which is spectacular. We had a fabulous meal and Russ our waiter was attentive and knowledgable. Too many fries on the plate for me, but otherwise all as exceptional."

  • "A bit of understated elegance on the Vegas strip. A bit off the main flow traffic, so one has to make the effort to get there. Our service was outstanding from the start to the finish. The steak frites had a wonderful flavor, although a bit less tender than I would have preferred. The next table had the mussels and raved about them. Reasonably priced ( In Vegas dollars) for the quality and the setting."

  • "the food is spectacular - the wait staff is noteworthy - I can't say enough about this restaurant - I am a formally trained cook - I have worked under many chefs and I have run a restaurant myself and I can tell you from my experience this place operates without equal - top notch - I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I have never been to a restaurant that succeeds so well at brilliant distinction - great care and detail has been taken in every aspect - Bouchon truly captures the smartness of style you would expect from an upscale French bistro."

  • "Bouchon is a wonderful restaurant in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. The Venetian is tres elegante, if not totally modern. The restaurant is on a floor that is away from the noise and hubbub of the casino. It is furnished in a style to make one feel like they were in France, in a bistro. The food was exquisite. I had the rib steak with pommes frites. It was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. My husband had the mussels entree. He must have had two and a half dozen of the most tender mussels, in the most delicious sauce. The bouchons were to die for, but we ordered them with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, instead of the raspberry sorbet with raspberry sauce. My husband, the chocolate hater took a portion of the sauce home. Yum!"
    Dined on 3/26/2014
  • "The place is a bit too pretentous. Previous visits, the food was very good, this time not up to expectations. We had to send the mussel dish back as they were overcooked."
    Dined on 3/25/2014
  • "The lighting was too dim for me to see the menu, iPhone flashlight required. The waiter was slow and wasn't available when we needed questions answered or extra items brought to the table. There was a bone in the fish which tasted a bit old. A few mussels weren't open/dead. My salty lamb entree could have been paired with something better than beans. The seared foie gras was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the mistakes made in the other dishes gave me a bad impression of the restaurant and I'm not sure if I'd be in a rush to go back."
