The staff were true professionals, the wine pairing suggestions were right on point, and we truly enjoyed the entire experience. We left delighted, and our waiter was very kind to provide us with Chef Keller's cookbook, autographed.......Both venues match up perfectly in duplicating a memorable dining experience. Thomas signed his book for my son Charlie who is studying cookery in Australia completing his personal dream of meeting his idol. Thomas invited him to visit his restaurants in the Napa valley which I am sure he will pursue latter in his career. I would recommend any of this great chefs restaurants to any passionate foodie looking for a reasonable priced fine dinning experience. My wife ordered the roasted chicken with English peas, bechamel, onion confit, bacon lardon, and Lolla Rosa for a main course, and I had mussels steamed with white wine, dijon mustard, and saffron, and again, both dishes were delicious and perfectly prepared, and generously portioned. We found no fault with the food and would not hestitate to return. Service was good, but occasionally a little slow. That was mainly because the hostess wanted to seat us at a table that would have put us in the middle of the traffic going to the kitchen. We opted for a table that was one table further into the restaurant where it would be quieter and more romantic for us. All of our waiter's other tables were on the other side of a partition which meant he didn't always know when we were ready for the next stage of our meal. The entire staff could not have been nicer. We had a great conversation with the General Manager, and our waitress was wonderful. She explained everything on the menu and helped us to make our decisions. Our cheese plate and entrees was delicious, but my oh my, the desserts were outstanding. We tried the creme brulee, the mille fueille with raspberry sorbet, the pb and j donuts and the warm brownie. The best combination was the raspberry sorbet with the creme brulee. It's classic French bistro with an upscale. California-ish twist. I invited five friends to join me for a celebration dinner--we were all from out of town and so had never been to Las Vegas before. Bouchon made the Vegas visit worthwhile. Host staff was very accommodating to the fluctuating number of diners that I kept changing--much appreciated for a conference crowd. Food and wine were stellar, memorable. I'd go back in a heartbeat. The only unfortunate blot on this otherwise amazing experience was that the dining captain was rude to one of my dining companions.
