This was our first time at Bottle Cap. We enjoyed the cocktails and the food was tasty and fresh. Given the size of the restaurant we did not quite agree with its description as a "Gastro-pub" but certainly has the potential to be such. A great place for a casual meal.

The waiter is intolerant and the food has seriously gone downhill. The small plate fried chicken was more brown and harder than in the past. The hanger steak slices had no character. The lamb stew had very little lamb. On the plus side, the wagon wheel cheese sandwich was still as good as ever, and the piquant flavor of the apple and brussel sprouts was unique.
The decor is always controversial. It's either the decorations of some very poor family who couldn't updated their fifties style home, or "Mad Men" forward.
For me, I don't ever want to eat at your restaurant again.

I just love everything about this place. The drinks are imaginative and the foods delicious. We ordered a lot of food to share and there was not one dish that wasn't simply outstanding. I can't wait to go back!
PS they also have a great happy hour and live music.
