  • "This is the steakhouse that you would expect in the Wynn: excellent food, eclectic and cool environment, but with a price to match. For example, we had an appetizer of oysters, shrimp, and crab that was presented in a fanciful two-level clamshell. The steaks and sides were excellent quality; I had a filet, and it was easily the best I have had in years. The steak came with three different pepper sauces on the side that, though unnecessary because the steak hardly needed enhancing, added a level of complexity. They have a nice assortment of sides as well, such as roasted bone marrow and pistachio-encrusted asparagus. They have an excellent wine list, although it is better suited to hedge-fund managers than regulars folks."

We have been to Botero before, and we usually like to dine somewhere new each time we Vegas, but we enjoyed Botero so much the first time, we had to do it again. Everything about this restaurant is top-notch. The service is impeccable, the food is fabulous, ant the ambiance is tranquil, yet modern. My wife and I love this place, and will keep coming back."

  • "You will have sticker shock from this restaurant! Two of us ordered steak which was just okay, one over cooked. I have had a lifetime of Nebraska beef and this was not the quality I grew up with or the flavor. The markup on their wines is over the top!"

  • "Each time I am in Vegas this is a place I eat at. Wasn't happy with our table location but frankly I should have said something at the time and didn't. Skipped the appetizers instead planning on having some sweets. The steak and sides were fantastic. The dessert menu was NOT good. I was completely unimpressed and frankly since most steak houses all have the same steaks, it comes down to the sides and the desserts to stand out."

  • "We've eaten here about 5 - 6 times and always enjoy the food. The steaks are always consistently great. Our waiter made a mistake with our order, but it didn't ruin the meal. We'd recommend going later in the evening (730 or so) after the early bird crowd leaves and the exterior doors to the pool and patio are closed. The music (mid 70's pop) seemed a bit odd this time."

Dinner tonight was over-seasoned (too much pepper on salad and entree - none or nothing extra was requested: this was the seasoning put on in the kitchen... too bad), but it's difficult to complain when you are at a fun restaurant in a beautiful setting. Everything else was lovely. I would recommend this spot and probably visit again."

  • "Possibly the best dining experience over-all...ever ! The food was beautifully prepared and presented and the cocktails were meticulously crafted. I had seared fois gras and Spanish octopus for starters and moved to the veal chop for main course. I have fois gras whenever I see it on the menu (I live in California where it is illegal), and the was the best I've ever tasted. Our server, Mora, was also the most knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly server we have ever encountered. My wife and I love Sage, Eiffel Tower, SW, and Heritage Steak, but we think Botero trumps them all. Maybe all the stars aligned just right that night. It was our first visit, but it most certainly will not be our last."

  • "I must say I saw the menu of this restaurant and was expecting great tasting food at a higher price. I got there with my gf and immediately you can notice the difference in the atmosphere, I don't want to say we didn't belong but you can tell we don't usually dine at an establishment like this. I must say this restaurant did an excellent job in making us feel comfortable and attending to our every needs. We will definitely be back when were back in Vegas for July. Thank you Botero for the excellent experience and the birthday dessert for my gf, she was more then thrilled."

  • "During a recent trip to Wynn Las Vegas, we dined at Botero for our anniversary. It was fabulous ! The entire meal was great and the steaks were awesome. Our waiter was very attentive as well as the rest of the staff. Our waiter made some recommendations that we took and it was wonderful. We sat at the bar before our table was ready and a very nice young lady brought me a wrap, since a storm had blown into Vegas. It would have been a great night for outside dining, if the storm was not there. The restaurant is beautiful, however, it is a bit dark, although we could see our table well. I think a bit more lighting would show off the features of the restaurant more because it has a fabulous design."

  • "We chose this restaurant for a 3rd time hoping for another wonderful experience but it was nott.We had terrible service from our waiter and our food was a disappointment. I asked our waiter 3 times for bread. I specifically ordered my steak how I exactly wanted it prepared. When my steak arrived; it was medium after I had gone over exactly wanting black and blue. When I told him , he sounded very put out and said "we'll, what do you want me to do?" I sent the steak back and then received another cooked to perfection. After that, we never saw our waiter again until he dropped off our check. He never asked us again if we wanted another bottle of wine or dessert. The hostesses act like they are doing you a favor by seating you."

  • "After many visits, this was our first disappointing experience. After ordering an expensive bottle of chard, it was fine and seemed liked it would become excellent. We took our time with the first glass to allow it to open up. After the second pour we noticed it was cold. We didn't notice they took the bottle to a server station and chilled it. By this time the bottle was very cold. Contrary to popular belief, chard should be drank just below room temp NOT cold. A restaurant of this caliber should never chill it without asking. Very disappointing and frankly a waste of a lot of money. Then my wife's salmon was served overdone and with several bones. My snapper however was excellent."

  • "When you enter the restaurant, first you will notice how beutiful this restaurant is. Second, the service is impecable. Third, Ambiance - romantic and forth - food was delicious. We do like to take our time and ordered the tasting menus (1 regular 1 vegan) I don't know if it is the amerian way but we were drinking our drink and our first course arrived. We returned it and asked to let us finish our drink and then the food should be served slowly with a wine pairing according to our food. They took it seriously and is was one of our best evening in Vegas. It was our second visit and it was as good as the first time. Next time in Vegas, we will go again and if it is again as good as the 2 previous visits, Botero, will make our "must go" list."

  • "At first, our reservation was not honored until 30 minutes late, how ever the manager was so incredibly accommodating that he picked up our bar drinks while we waited and made the wait worth the while. Every single dish that came out of the kitchen was better than the other. The Dover sole was divine as was the house special truffle Mac and cheese and tater tots. The cronies filled with Nutella was out of this world. Would eat there every night next time we are in town!"

  • "A lot of attention is given to diners at this Encore restaurant. It is pricey, but everything was worth it except for the wine pour. At $16 a glass, I expect more than a third of a glass of wine, especially in a slim wine goblet. When the person from the bar poured out my glass of Sancerre, I joked with her "keep going." With an equally slim smile, she said "that's it." Really? That said, the meal was great, but I probably wouldn't go back just because of the "snooty" factor."

  • "This is our 2nd time visiting. I was excited to visit even the recent reviews didn't have positive vibes. We ordered porterhouse and 2 sides (can't remember which ones). Steak came out dry and firm on NY cuts and Juicy and Tender on Filet Mignon. We've asked why it came out this way and server says "because it has different cuts of meats." OK but 2-3 years ago we ordered the same and it was soooo delicious that we wanted MORE! (we even shaved the meat off the bone) I was bit disappointed with the response... oh wells. Cocktails: don't bother to order. Didn't taste any alcohol in it Wine selections: TOO MUCH VARIETY and too expensive than before."

  • "Amazing Columbian steakhouse by the pool between Wynn and Encore. The outdoor seating area is great for people watching, and is right next to XS nightclub. The 6 course tasting menu is definitely worth it. The portions are huge and is reasonably priced at $110 per person. Definitely glad we chose this place."

  • "The Italian Pinot Grigio was buttery tasting and heavy and I have never had a Pinot Grigio that was heavy like that or buttery tasting. The waiter tried to tell me it was supposed to be like that. We drank it but I was not happy with it or his "knowledge" of wine. I originally wanted a French Chablis, but he talked me out of it."
