  • "Had a dinner-for-two (date night) on a recent Friday evening. Menu was relatively limited with entrée choices but did have a nice and unique variety of snacks/appetizers, one of which we did try. Expected somewhat more in terms of service/food at a location where the average entrée price was >$25/person. My chopped salad with steak (est. 6oz) was $25. If we were offered to sit further away from the bar/TV's or upstairs, that would have been appreciated. Would come back for drinks with mates but for the cost/experience, would likely consider other options for dinner."

  • "We had heard how this was quickly becoming a popular spot. Located only a block away from Quincy Marketplace, we had a reservation for a weeknight at 6, so the huge bar which is one of their attractions had a lot of after-work patrons. It was too noisy for us. They say they have a "quiet" section for dining, but our booth was "all they had" and was located right alongside the standing bar patrons. Unfortunately we had to virtually shout at each other in our own booth, had to have both wait staff and us repeat ourselves far too many times. Overall, the food was good, however -- crab-crusted cod, lobster rolls, chowder, oysters, salad were all part of our meal and everyone enjoyed."

The staff were very welcoming and the food was much more European than the usual American fare. Lovely salads and my son had the Lobster Roll. Very relaxed and enjoyable. Thanks"

  • "The lobster roll was unique and delicious. Only a butter knife was needed to cut the filet, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The wait staff was attentive but gave us plenty of time to relax and enjoy our meal."

  • "Wonderful menu, with so many options it's hard to choose. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The drinks are very well made and I love that they had both a kids' menu and a "Young Adults" menu. The food was outstanding! We had a wonderful risotto cake special for an appetizer and whatever you do, don't miss out on the sweet potato doughnuts!"

  • "We got to the restaurant and it was closed because there was a watermain break. If the break had recently occurred I understand why we would not be contacted but it had been going on for about 5 hours according to the police there. A pretty big hassle to try and find reservations at 8 on a Friday night in the middle of a storm with no transportation."

  • "The food here is delicious, and service is wonderful. Make reservations since this place gets packed later in the evening. We had the steamed mussels which were awesome, and then also a great cod dish which was a great size. The live jazz band starts at 9pm on Saturdays, which makes for a great atmosphere!"

  • "We were seated right away. We were a half hour early for our reservation. Our waitress was excellent. She made suggestions and showed my date the gluten free menu. The food was very good. I had pork, she had steak. The atmosphere is a little loud but not bad. Overall a very nice dining expierience."

  • "This new dining option shows great promise as led by its excellent Executive Chef, Kyle Kitchum. Portions are ample and full of flavor, and there are great options for all taste. The noise from the bar can be a distraction, once you taste the food, is becomes less of an issue. As a new restaurant, open only ten weeks, they are quickly working out the usual start up issues so it will be a "four star" dining experience shortly. "

Big plus: the wine "tastes" (2 oz pours) available ... but then they don't have a pre-set option of doing flights, which should be an easy win."

  • "Our evening began being greeted by a "bouncer" creating a very awkward and uncomfortable first impression of the restaurant -- along with his visible hand-held counter, clicking twice to note our arrival (and then clicked twice again, visibly, when we exited). Our reserved seating was in middle of the floor and then moved to a booth next to bathrooms with AC chilling us with a draft the entire evening. The food is OK - not worth the price. More hype than anything. The featured Crab crusted Cod is VERY SALTY! The burger ordered medium was RAW. The replacement burger was dry -- Five Guys burger is 100 times better and 70% less expensive. While the menu is simple (one page), the quality of the food is lacking. Would not return or recommend. "

  • "I took 2 guests for lunch and was very impressed with the quality of the food and the beautiful atmosphere. Service was excellent. It's a little pricey so this is more of a special occasion type of restaurant or an expense-account place. My only criticism is the acoustics. It's very loud and difficult to have a conversation so I would be reluctant to have a business lunch there. Given how noisy it was at lunchtime when the restaurant wasn't full, I can only imagine how loud it would be with a full dinner crowd. "

  • "We dined here for Mother's day and also to celebrate my father-in-laws birthday. The food was excellent, the service was great. They even had kid's menus with really nice touches like the fresh fruit plate. The fruit was fantastic and it came with a nice marscapone cheese. My daughter's pasta and meatballs were a huge hit. We had appetizers, drinks, salads, entrees, and dessert (the sweet potato donuts are to die for). There was nothing I could think of that could have been done better, and I am foodie snob that generally can find one thing that could have been improved. For a restaurant that just opened, they were running on all cylinders. Would highly recommend it."

  • "THE loudest restaurant ever - not only because of the echo in the place, but there was a piano player/singer and then later there was a band, but you could barely hear either because the place was so loud. Service was poor...there didn't seem to be enough servers and our server barely checked in with us, only to take our orders/drinks, but we had to flag him down each time we wanted water or another drink. He could barely reach our table by the window. Food was good/very flavorful. Burger was tasty, but fell apart with each bite. Fries were good. Tater-tot poutine was good. Crab dip was salty, with salty chips. Lobster roll was a good portion size for the price. Would go back, but maybe ask to sit elsewhere. "

  • "I realize that this is a new restaurant, but the food was really disappointing. My friends and I wanted to split the seafood tower for dinner and get some sides. When I think of a seafood platter I imagine the ones at steak houses that come with a variety of things. We got a plate of oysters - couldn't have been more than 8 or 10. They weren't shucked properly and didn't move in their shells. We only got 3 shrimp cocktail, which were RAW. The tuna tartare and crab salad was warm-ish and I found a toothpick in the crab. Besides the fact that it was awful, to charge $69 for something you could get at Row 34 for much less, is just ridiculous. The only saving grace about this restaurant was the staff and the customer service they provided. "

  • "First impression was great. Greeters opened the doors. The hostess was awesome. She remembered my name when she walked by my table and when I left. Only thing I hated was the service. Me and my gf never received an introduction from the server. Took him 30mins to take our order which he didn't even bother to write down. Drinks took another 20mins. Food came out shortly after but he ordered me an appetizer instead of an entree I clearly pointed out in the menu. I'm impressed by him taking orders without taking it down, but at least get it right. The ambience was great, Food was great but the service from the server was horrible. I'll go by again to enjoy the scene and maybe drinks but not to sit down and dine. "

  • "My friends and I were excited to try this new restaurant. What enticed us was the menu, but most importantly, the tater tot poutine. Unfortunately the dining experience was disappointing. The tots were covered in a very salty gravy and an unremarkable cheese sauce (not the traditional cheese curds). The tots were not crispy to begin with, so when they were smothered in the gravy what resulted was a sloppy mess you could barely get onto a fork. We had planned on staying for dinner, but after paying $8 for a teeny tiny plate of sloppy tots, followed by a mediocre charcuterie plate, we payed our bill and left to find a more deserving place to have dinner. "

  • "Great atmosphere and service was fantastic. Food was good, not great, and very overpriced for what it was. Had dinner with group of 7 and consensus was we would not return to eat. Drink prices were average to high but won't get an extra drop with the measured pour for wine and. I can't blame a place for needing to maximize profits but I also don't want to feel like I overpay. I've been for drinks a few times though and including this dinner, service has been top notch each time."
