First the rolls are to die for. The menu is okay but non fried fish is lacking. Funny considering it is a fish place. This place has been around for a while and needs some updating. Meals are so so. Its good in a pinch.

  • New England comes to Florida

Great sampling of traditional New England food here, from what I've seen so far. I have a relative from Maine who I plan on bringing here if I get a chance, next time he visits Florida. I honestly can't think of any other place who has "scrod" for example. Quite honestly, I was surprised the restaurant has been around for a while. I only recently discovered it through OpenTable. The Bam-Bam Shrimp were tasty and my wife really enjoyed her scrod sandwich (we had never even heard of scrod before, to be honest). If I had to nit-pick anything, it would be the steak and shrimp meal. The beef was cooked and seasoned perfectly, but I wasn't in love with the cut. There was a bit too much sinew, which took away a bit of the enjoyment.
