We could have ordered 2 entrees and still had plenty. We took a lot home and had another great lunch the next day. The food was FABULOUS! We enjoyed every bite. Very fresh, with a great presentation. Very enjoyable experience. Service was a little slow, a little forgetful at a slow time of day, but that's inconsequential. She was very helpful, however, when it came to advice about menu and wine options - no doubt made my experience much better. The chicken saute with the lemon sauce is just wonderful. For me, more mushrooms and fewer onions would be ideal. But delish anyway. The rice - way too good! The frizzante Moscato - perfect choice. My companion's choices were to her delight, too. The food is prepared fresh daily and never disappoints. We always have so much, we take it home and have enough for another meal or 2. We love the Lavas (Hollow Bread), the mixed appetizer plate, and the salads. Food is amazing and plentiful. Server/service excellently attentive. Nicely decorated inside & fun sidewalk seating outside. Ordered appetizer of Lavas for the table with sides of Babaganoush, Tarama-plenty for 6 of us. We've ordered the mixed appetizer before which is great for your first time to figure out what you like. Husband & I shared the mixed grill (the one that serves 2-feels like it could serve 3 or 4 if you also get an appetizer). Everyone brought home a doggy bag. For desert, my son would not share his Baklava. So, we ordered 1 additional Baklava (you get 3)& the Turkinsh Pineapple Delight (4 of us shared). (I checked the email confirmation from and we had the correct location) Instead of just seating us the manager on duty and host made us feel like it was an imposition to find a table for two in their empty restaurant. After fussing for a bit over their floor layout the manager finally directed the host to seat us in the most uncomfortable corner possible. We asked to switch to a less tight two-top and after consulting her manager we were finally moved to a spot with some leg room. It was fun to people watch but we never saw the inside of the restaurant. The food/service was excellent. The spices did not overwhelm you, but as Goldilocks said..was just right. The Doner Kebab is thinly sliced and grilled lamb served with rice, pickled cabbage and carrots. You must try the Lavase bread and Babaganoush, Ezeme and Hummus.
