Interesting drink menu, really liked their version of Old Fashioned. Had the chips as an appetizer and they were very good. Rather large portion filled us up so we opted to split a salad and Thai pizza for the entree. The Thai pizza was different, but good and not too spicy. Split the chocolate cake and it was good. The drink specials were well made and refined- the Irish Margarita and the Hennessy new fashioned were superb. Atmosphere was modern, and it was very busy in the early evening, though this did not impact our service. The beer and wine list was good. The food is always good and management tries to keep patrons interested by changing up the menu every now and then. This time I had the ahi tuna burger, which is outstanding, and the green beans as a side. Yummy! My husband had the new scallop dish, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also had the squash soup as a starter. That's been on the menu since day one and is one of the best squash soups I've ever had. It consistently has just the right amount of spice for a kick and some tart granny smith apple chunks. Delish! Service here is always good and this time was no different. Our server was a male who was very friendly and attentive. I've had nothing but great experiances there! The managers are wonderful and kind, and the Servers are attentive and friendly. The food there is always delicious, enspecially the steaks, which are almost always cooked to perfection. Its a beautiful resturant and well kept.

The food is excellent, probably the best woodfired grilled in Madison. The woodfire adds a great taste to the meat. I booked the reservation for my daughters 25th birthday dinner as we always try to find a fun and reasonable place to have a family gathering. The aroma of the wood grill is very comforting and instantly puts you in a good mood. We were seated promptly and if there was only one tiny negative, I felt we were a little crowded, but overall not an issue. Our server was cordial and attentive, but not annoying. The food was top shelf and cooked to order with nobody having a send back. Overall, it was a pleasant surprise and one of Madison's best kept secrets for a comfortable casual dining experience.
