"The Boneyard has the best Bar-B-Que in LA, bar none. Their salads are superb. Every detail of the meal is a delight from the corn muffins to the beans and slaw. My favorite restaurant in the Valley."

"Excellent tri-tip, but fairly pricey for a BBQ joint. Impressive beer and whiskey list. Warning: If you or anyone in your party have the slightest concern about your heart, waistline, or cholesterol, go somewhere else! Almost every item on the menu is fried and/or smoked. That's fine if that's what you're looking for, but you should know this ahead of time. My wife's a vegetarian, so didn't really enjoy it. Skip the desserts, not that good for $10/ea."

"In general, it's overpriced. Fried Mac & Cheese and the Chili filled donuts were spectacular. Pulled Pork sandwich, fatty and oversmoked. Beans had too much liquid smoke and no other flavor. Patty melt was too greasy, onion rings very greasy. Whiskey sour was fantastic, and the beer selection is mind-bending. Excellent beers. I would absolutely recommend this place as a great spot for beer and snacks, but never for dinner. There are quite a few better BBQ places in LA."

"How fabulous to have a neighborhood restaurant that has an amazing wait staff, fabulous food and a killer beer list! Aaron Robins puts together a menu nightly that is AWESOME! Monday night is fried chicken night and in my opinion, the only thing better is Tuesday night when he makes fried chicken TACOS!! However, food, drink and staff aside, Boneyard gives back. For four Tuesdays in March/April Boneyard donates 25% of all beer sales to a charity. This year it was for MS and specifically to our MS Walk team. We are so grateful to have a place to go that has such great food, but also realizes that giving back makes us want to give to them."

"We love this Bistro! The best BBQ! The pulled pork, the brisket, the baby back ribs, the OMG hamburger...ALL of their dishes are absolutely delicious!"

"If you like BBQ and Bourbon-- this is the place for you! We started with three appetizers the Chili Donuts, Devil eggs and pulled pork dumplings. All were great- the eggs a bit too spicy for me. I had the Pork CHOP as my main dish- it was one of the best CHOPS I have ever eaten. Moist well flavored. I would go back just for that. They have a bourbon menu- so good- well rounded and the staff is educated on what's what in the bourbon world. I played it safe with the classic manhattan- tho it cold have been a bit colder- it was delicious. Dessert was not as great as the meal- we had the Irish Car Bomb- bit dry, and the banana pudding- good flavor, texture was a bit caky too many 'nilla wafers for me. Be aware this place is PACKED and LOUD-"

"The food was good and the tap list was great. We were seated at what was probably the worst table in the restaurant: a rickety, small, half table that faced the patrons 2 feet away from us. Totally awkward experience. Oh, and Pliny out of a pint glass? Come on..."

"Had the St.Louis style ribs,delicious! Fried Mac & Cheese Awesome! Not crazy about the collard greens, they were a bit tart for my taste. And the OMG Burger.. to die for! And you must try the Kobe Beef Chili Filled Donuts... mmmmm! Will definitely come here again!"

"Great place for a lover of BBQ and smoked meats. Refreshing and tasty cole slaw, too. I haven't made it to the "bistro" menu yet because every time I go the barbecue is too tempting. Generous portions."
