BonesVery TastyWe went on Mother's Day for dinner and sat outside. The patio area is nice on a warm day and it was a pleasant spot to watch the urban scene wandering/driving by. We split the pork buns- an order of each kind for appetizers. They were quite good. I really enjoyed my udon. My son got the lobster ramen and was quite impressed. I tasted a bit of the broth which was delicious. My S/O got the curry and this brussel sprout hating guy ate them (and the rest of the curry) right up. Portions were good sized; two of us couldn't finish our main courses but the twenty-something son took on the task. Nice, well thought out re-imaginings of steamed buns, ramen and udon.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMI had an amazing time, theI had an amazing time, the staff was exceptional, the food was outstanding. One of my favorite restaurant experiences I've had in Denver.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMSteamed Buns!!!Order the steamed buns with pork belly! Amazing! After eating here we went directly to Linger to compare with their steamed buns with pork belly and although it was very very close, Bones held out. I would definitely return to both places. Side note: it is also recommended that after a stop at Bones, then Linger, the next stop should absolutely be Root Down for the Banana Creme' Brulee to finish the night.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had the best waitress,We had the best waitress, I cannot remember her name though. Very attentive but not over bearing4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMBones Always DeliversImpeccable food from another Bonnano gem. Nice compact wine list with some great by-the-glass selections which pair nicely with the soups and pork buns! Accommodating staff (too noisy inside, and asked to be moved outside during cocktails... they pleasantly agreed). Had a fantastic experience, and always have.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMNice place. Will go again.Nice place. Will go again. Wide variety of different kind of foods. Very enjoyable4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMBones againWe ate here last trip to Denver, and this year made sure to eat here twice as we enjoyed it so much. Didn't dissapoint, and glad to see Mike still behind the bar in the open kitchen. Great great place.
Be sure to listen to specials, and what the kitchen reccomends. Wine is great, and the coctails are inspired. Food, well it's excellent. Have tried pretty much all that's veggie/seafood friendly on the menu, and loved it all.
For the meat eaters, marrow bone and sticky buns seem to be very popular.
This is a must when in Denver.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food here is just fantastic....The food here is just fantastic....a must if you have not been!4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBones- One of my favoriteBones- One of my favorite places to dine in denver!
