It is our favorite restaurant in Atlanta and we were pleased to be able to introduce it to our son who may be moving to Atlanta soon.

My wife and I both enjoyed the 8 oz filet mignon and it was to die for. We also had the French onion soup and shrimp cocktail for appetizers and both were great. Corn pudding was an excellent side, whereas the asparagus was very bland.
For dessert, I highly recommend the ice cream pie. Sort of like a rocky road style, but amazing!
Lots of business folk when we went and it gets pretty tight and noisy. They make you feel especially welcome, decorating your table for your specific occasion and treating you at the end with an ice cream cake as well. Their steaks are WONDERFUL, and they are cooked just right. I've had the filet and the New York Strip, and both choices of meat came out exactly as I asked for. The sides are served 'family style' so you'll get to share with the entire table. I recommend trying the mushrooms and the mac-n-cheese. On certain nights, they'll have a side special, and if you make it on the right night, make sure you order the sweet potato! It will absolutely melt in your mouth! When we arrived without a reservation, I explained my situation, that I was from out of town, with some additional friends who were also from out of town (Seattle). He told me not to worry an magically found a round table for the 7 of us. That night was amazing fourteen years ago. Fast forward to this past Saturday night and there I was again with six more guests from out of town. This time WITH a reservation. We were greeted warmly and often, shown a private round table room with a cork ceiling and ate like VIKINGS!
