Warmed by a fireplace and ambiance equally warm, this is a little gem nestled in the heart of Concord MA. A neighborhood feel but upscale is how I would describe this little bar and restaurant. Cozy and delicious with presentation and farm to table cuisine that will rival any in Boston. My only caviate here is that it's not "quantity" so don't go in expecting large portions if that's your gig as that just will not happen. The home made breads? Amazing. Bondir? A keeper for a cocktail and the 4 plate prefix. Great place

Nice choice in the suburbs. Plenty of street parking nearby. Ambiance is a bit bistro like, energetic but not too noisy. Service was great. A small list of wines by the glass but the pinot I tried was outstanding. Most importantly, the food was delicious. Warning: You need a translation to understand the menu. Unfortunately, this is one of those restaurants where they're trying to impress you with the amount of French words on the menu. I find this irritating, in particular because at least at Bondir there's no need for it, the quality of the food speaks for itself. The duck breast and confit was wonderful, as was the beef bavette (flank steak). The home made ice cream and sorbets were delicious, especially the goat milk ice cream.

There aren't many restaurants in concord as this ones a gem. It fills the need for an upscale yet casual and cool destination. Like going into cambridge, but right in Concord. Fantastic soup & salad. Hearty squash soup and a generous salad. A nice bottle of wine, though small wine selection. A friend and I decided to split and entree pasta. While the presentation was beautiful, and the dish was delicious, it was possibly the smallest entree I have ever seen. There were six pieces of pasta. No joke. The server was knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. The table was cozy & comfortable. Great overall ambience.

We couldn't have been happier or more satisfied with out dining experience at Bondir. The food was exquisite, truly, and the service was outstanding. We especially liked the cozy and beautiful atmosphere complete with an active fireplace and many unique decorative touches that serve to make guests feel comfortable as well as a bit special. We will recommend Bondir to friends and will certainly return, probably to try out the dinner menu. Thank you to chef Jason Bond and all the staff of Bondir!

We celebrate a birthday, two of us. We pleasantly greeted upon arrival and promptly seated. Our table was in the middle of the back area next to a poll. That could have been better and they might want to eliminate that location. The table on the other side of the poll was very close, but I asked them not to use it and they kept it empty. That was very good. Next time I will request one of the corner booths. Service was very helpful in making decisions. We had a bottle of wonderful red wine followed with the four-course fixed price meal. Our food was simply delicious and perfectly presented. Not only is the food fantastic, but the dishes and ingredients are unique and creatively prepared. On our way out, we were given a sincere thank you.

Once you have decoded the menu (there are LOTS of uncommon food words on it, but the waitstaff is happy to explain the night's choices) and have gotten down to ordering, every. last. bite. is. amazing. Bondir has a fixed price menu option where you choose three "half-plates" (small meal size) from the starters and mains sections, which is a wonderful way to NOT have to narrow down your choices. Should you prefer full-size, you are welcome to order ala carte, as well. Don't skip dessert - their selection of in-house gelatos and ice creams (goat's milk ice cream, vanilla thyme gelato, cranberry gelato, etc.) is not to be missed. Order a selection of three flavors to share. Bondir is one of our favorite places to go to eat!

Service is professional and friendly. Menu is very limited, wine list is weak, food was not good. I ordered pasta that was tough and almost not eatable. Chef must be trying to be cleaver. We went there before shortly after Bondir's opening and it was not that good but we decided to try it again. In our view, Bondir is no comparison to 80 Thoreau or to Dalia's in Bedford.

We walked into a lively bar scene on an early Friday night. Our order was taken promptly and pleasantly. I had the squash soup, which I always order if it's on the menu because it is outstanding. My husband had the beet salad, which he enjoyed. The waiter mentioned that they had just gotten a lovely loin of lamb that day, which my husband ordered and enjoyed immensely. I got the flatiron beef, which was flavorful and tender. We had cleaned our plates, so we had no room for dessert, but next time I'll have the bourbon ice cream, which I've had in the past and enjoyed. All in all it was a great dining experience.

My wife and I had dinner at Bondir (Concord) Sunday night. The service was very good and the ambiance quite nice, but the most notable aspect of the experience was the eclectic menu. I had the Prix Fixe while my wife, who is vegetarian, did ala carte. Their Prix Fixe allows you to choose four items, and they could be one appetizer, two main dishes (smaller size) and one desert (as I had) or any combination of those. I thought that was interesting. Each dish was a clever combination of many ingredients that one would not otherwise put together. My wife's experience, on the other hand, was disappointing. The salad did not feel as fresh as it should be, given that this is a farm to fork restaurant. The vegetarian main dish, kind of blah.

Jason Bond has been on the scene in Cambridge for some time, and his new and bigger restaurant in Concord (near the fields of Carlisle where he grows his veggies) is a smashing hit....the best food, and everything local (including George Howell coffee), great ambiance, lovely people working for him, lunch is a steal at $22.00 for two courses (get there while that price point lasts), delicious desserts. This restaurant is a game changer for Concord (long overdue) and for the Concord merchants, who must be delighted that he is open for lunch. Get there while you can still get a reservation.

Our party of 7 that included one 3 year old had an absolutely wonderful time. Very interesting menu that allow you to order any variation from the daily menu of appetizers to main course. For a fixed price, you can order any four items off the menu. Our party took advantage of this flexibility. Since so much variety was ordered, it is hard to go into detail with this limited space; however, it is more than fair to say, everyone in our group was happy with their meal. We will be definitely returning for the great food and service.

Lively scene in town-center Concord. Small, creative menu, pleasant atmosphere, attentive professional waitstaff. The "prix fixe" option is particularly attractive, allowing a choice of any four items from the menu (starters, entrees, desserts) to provide a generous sampling. Prices were also "upscale" but seemed in line with other similar establishments. Definitely enjoyed our evening.

Always great but, as some people have probably asked of you, finally got the portions right. Offering a 4-course prix fix (moderate portions of anything on the menu) and no longer can men say there isn't enough food. Each was a scrumptious combination of flavors - exceeding my last three visits if that were even possible. I would go further with the menu: offer a prix fix for just three courses, which is where I could comfortably stop and my wife would be fine with the last course being dessert. Retain the 4-course for bigger eaters. Excellent!

It's slightly exhausting reading and deciphering the menu but when we listened to our waiter's recommendations we agreed with his suggestions. I've eaten here twice and I'm still on the fence. We went to Bondir to celebrate our Anniversary on the recommendation of a friend. The place has that comfortable, cozy feel to it. Very inviting. The hostess greeted us and sat us immediately. We had a nice corner table. The menu is different everyday and uses only fresh local ingredients. Sample menus are online. Each dish had a small and large size offering so you had an opportunity to taste several dishes or get a full plate. I ate a pear salad, and then the duck, both amazing. My husband tried both fish dish offerings, one as an appetizer and one as a dinner. The wait staff was very attentive. I might also add that the wine/drink list was not overwhelming but had quality choices by bottle or glass. Recommend a reservation.
