This was my third visit to Bondir Concord. It did not disappoint. The ingredients were so fresh, and the seasoning was excellent. I love the half portions. Imagine being able to taste four entrees with one companion, or six with two.

Bondir is a wonderful addition to Concord's food scene. We love the ambiance, the attention to detail in food and space, and, in the winter, the welcoming and cheerful fire. The food is well-prepared and presented and is tasty although sometimes the sauces artfully drizzled on the plate is needed to provide the flavor. The wine list is generous and very interesting. I was glad to try a rose from Austria, for example. They are very responsive to diners' requests. In our case, they allowed to move from the front of the back of the restaurant where there was a table more appropriate for our five diners and it was much quieter and less busy. The greeter was charming and very helpful.

The food was delicious and fresh - definitely "Farm to Table." We found the brown bread and the papadelle pasta to be very salty. The steak and the pumpkin soup were the best bet.

This is a wonderful experience from soup to nuts! The people are fun and friendly, the food is amazing, the service is friend but not intrusive and well educated in the menu and wines and the setting is fun and sophisticated at the same time. I can't recommend this enough!

I took my girlfriend to lunch to celebrate her special birthday. The food choices were lovely but everything came out luke warm or even cool. And this was after waiting a long time for service. The food was okay but somewhat tasteless and very disappointing. The only redeeming factor was our dessert, which I had specially requested. Yummy fruit tart with vanilla boubon ice cream. Great pasrty chef!

This was an outstanding restaraunt with over the top friendly service from the hostess to the waitstaff to the busboy! The food was outstanding as well and we do consider ourself foodies who enjoy an elegant well cooked meal. My husband ordered the Sea Bass which was cooked perfectly (so few restaraunts cook fish to perfection) Bondir did not disappoint! We will return often and we are looking forward to going for brunch. I mentioned on the phone that it was our anniversary and everyone greeted us with a congratulations - very professional and inviting! A true gem!

Bondir's presence in Concord MA has significantly up-graded and refreshed the town's otherwise lackluster dining experiences (save for 80 Thoreau and the terrific Sally Ann's bakery). Whether meeting a friend for a drink, having Sunday lunch with my niece, or dining in the evening with husband and other couples, Bondir is consistently special. No question …. this is a 5-star spot.

Have been patronizing the original Bondir in Cambridge since its opening but the trip west to Concord is worth the time and fuel. Easier to park, exciting menu, more seating. An all around improvement over what was already a terrific experience at the founding spot in E. Cambridge. Worth the trip out Rte 2, for sure.

Third time eating at Bondir. But you'd think we ate there every night. They welcomed like we were close friends. The food is inventive without being off-putting. We like the use of local ingredients. It tastes fresh. The pumpkin soup was great and the fish entrees were tasty. Everything was delicious - this time and other times we've had dinner there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and have many times.

The food was beautiful to see, clever in concept, but ultimately disappointing in the eating. The unusual combinations occasionally worked, but more often failed. To summarize, the cuisine at Bondir is "fussy" and "precious." It is fit for foodies, but few else.

I like the ability to be very flexible by ordering the half-size portions. However, they are so small they really can't be shared. And ordering multiple plates gets very expensive very quickly. Also, we were seated in the back room which has a lot of tables in a confined area. We were there fairly early and there were very few other diners in that room so the noise level was not a problem at all. However, if the room was full I think it would be very noisy.

I had been to Bondir in Kendall Square and loved it, but hadn't visited the Concord branch - absolutely outstanding! Went for a birthday dinner with friends including a cordon bleu chef, and all of us were totally blown away by the food - but also by the spirit of the place. If you are someone who loves food and likes to be with people who love food, but who also love to make you feel welcome, this is the place for you. It's well worth the drive from the city if you live there - Boston and Cambridge are crammed with restaurants, but I often feel slightly disappointed going home, they can be a bit meh and mundane. Bondir is IT now: eclectic, lovely decor and atmosphere, servers who really know (and care) about food; wine & food to die for.

Very trendy, in a good way, I felt like I learned a lot about new foods. We had to look up some of the unfamiliar ingredients we found on the online menu before we went. You need to be open-minded. The tuna I had looked very rare, but it was wonderful. Beautiful presentations and meticulous, creative combinations. All staff was friendly and relaxed. The space is lovely, fairly quiet when we went, Wednesday night.

Bondir was delightful. Our group of 4 ate on a Monday night in Concord and were so pleasantly surprised. I had heard the name before, but thought it was perhaps an Indian restaurant! I looked further because we were going to be in Concord. Food was beautiful and beyond delicious. The tastes were unique, unusual, and so complex. Everything we tried worked beautifully. Love to find things out that I wouldn't try at home. And the ability to try half-orders fit our style perfectly. Terrific!

This was our first visit to Bondir despite us living in Concord and having tried to get a reservation earlier. The food was spectacular with inventive combinations of tastes and textures. The small plates worked extremely well as my husband and I often split appetizers and entrees, so we got to try four different things rather than our usual two. My husband is more a tradionalist when it comes to food, so he was not quite as enamored as I was, but he admitted he would readily return in the near future. We were unsure which wine we wanted to order, so our server brought two bottles to the table and let us try each to help us decide which one we wanted. Don't wait for a special occasion to visit Bondir. Treat yourself soon.

My date drinks beer & I had the her pair wines with each courses for me. Great casual feel, but professional people who love food, and is shows. I can't wait to go back again & again to see the menu change with the season. I'd like to make it a goal to go here monthly.

I guess the question I have is why is the menu so difficult to understand. I have eaten at many fine restaurants all over the world and none needed as much explanation on what the ingredients were as this one. When the food arrived it was tasty but far from overwhelming. The service and attention were wonderful. They were having air-conditioning issues and it was very cold where we were seated and they happily were able to move us to another location which was still cool but not freezing. The price for 3 glasses of wine and 4 small plates with a shared dessert was about $56 each.

The food was good. However, things were really not working in the kitchen. The entrees took a very long time to come, with mine coming about an hour after my wife's, and even her's had been a long time....so we essentially ate separately...not the idea. They did drop off an unwanted different meal (fish not beef) in the meantime. So despite good food a negative experience. We are patient and flexible but this was out of bounds.
