It was not served over pasta and the sauce was amazing.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMLunch in NYCI attend a conference in NYC every year. It is held in the Times Square area. I hold my cusomter lunches at Bond 45 (two this year) because the food is good, the service is outstanding, the location is great and easy to find. I find it a great value. Only knock is it can be loud so it can be hard to hear others speak. Which can be tough becuase they handle a large group well.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Restaurant-Great for TheaterGreat for the Theater district but also wonderful for any time. Antipasto is fantastic and the meals are wonderful. The staff is informed about the food and make sure you have a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend this restaurant. Not a tourist trap.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AM50th Bday CelebrationOur reservation was at 8:00 we got there at 7:45 and they seated us immediately! It is in the theater district of NYC and the theater crowd gets out of there at 7:30/7:40 to get to the 8:00 shows. The service was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious! They have this massive antipasto bar that looked quite impressive, I have to go back to try that. Best Caesar Salad I have had anywhere! Eggplant parm was to die for! Everyone in our party raved about their food. They surprised us with a dessert and sparkler in it for my husbands 50th bday and a bottle of Champagne! Great night overall!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMBest service we've had in years1. They let us sit at the table before the entire party arrived. Very nice!
2. Tasty food with a decidedly healthy bent.
3. They didn't rush us out when we were finished.
4. We actually told the manager that our waiter was terrific!
Entire experience was a pleasure!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMIt Keeps Getting BetterI have been to this restaurant on many occassions and all I can say is that it never disappoints. I have taken many of my friends here and they all agree that the food is excellent. It's located in a great spot, too. The appetizers are outstanding, especially the Burrata with vegetables. The wait staff is very professional and they do a great job. I love this place!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMI lOVe It!great before theare

They raved about the great food and wonderful service! Servers are indeed always helpful, friendly and efficient. Due to traffic, we were pushed for time in order to make it to a show. The staff gave us good menu selections, and we had a very pleasant meal and made it to the theatre with time to spare. A great choice in the theatre district. The lasagna and antipasto are outstanding, and so is the Ceasar salad!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMMy go-to pre-theater restaurant. My go-to pre-theater restaurant. Great food, fantastic service, nice atmosphere, and right in the middle of the theater district. Try the home made mozzarella!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and great service...exceGreat food and great service...except we believe our waitress may have tried to rip us off for $100!my wife did a quick audit of the check, found the "error" and called her attention to it. Otherwise, we would have been taken...and we had included a 20% tip!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for theatre goers.Great service. Great for theatre-goers. They walk around with home-baked cookies! They even charged my phone for me4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food at reasonable pricesGood food at reasonable prices right in the hart of Times Square. Seafood risoto is amazing - if you are a lasagna lover this isn't a traditional style but my colleague said it was really good.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a great choice!!We went for my husband's birthday. Hadn't been there in awhile. So glad I picked it for our dinner. Everything was great. We had a wonderful time. Would go back in a heartbeat. Originally tried to get reservations 2 weeks in advance at Balthazar & couldn't so this was my 2nd choice. So happy it all worked out.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI had eggs for brunch andI had eggs for brunch and everything was fabulous. I gave four stars for food only because there was no kids menu and the waitress said the pizza was an individual serving; but it was huge, so I paid $21 for my daughter to eat one slice. Waste of money.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first trip toThis was our first trip to Bond 45 and it definitely WILL NOT be our last!!! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We had reservations , but we were seated immediately!!! I heard about Bond 45 through Nederlander Theatre and so pleased that we did!!!!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Pre-theater dinnerArrived at 5:30 for an 8pm show, this gave us the perfect amount of time for a relaxing dinner without rushing. Wonderful pear, arugula and their fresh burrata cheese, delicious. Also, their eggplant caponata from the antipasto listing was wonderful paired with the fresh mozzarella, share this easily. The veal was huge and tasted wonderful; the special crab "steak"was also good; the seafood risotto was outstanding. The Lasagna is very different from what you might expect. The noodles are done so they are flat and your dish looks like a pizza with meatballs, also very tasty but different. We were so full we just had gelato for dessert, which was decadent. Great waiter, great service.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe desided to go to Bond 45We desided to go to Bond 45 because we went to a show down the block and we had a very nice surprise. The food there is delicious, the wait staff professional, it's crowded but I've never felt like I'm sitting on top of the person next to me. We are never rushed but in my last visit there we were headed to a concert and our server was diligent in getting us out the door in proper time. I've probably been there a dozen times now and am never disappointed. It's not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA bright spot in Times SquareA bright spot in Times Square for a good business lunch.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGrown-up Theater District TreatThis is one of our theater-district standbys. It's an Italian steakhouse, more contemporary than traditional, with lots of nice touches. It's midtown expensive -- two appetizers and a 30-inch Margarita pizza, no drinks, was $65 before tip. But the food is quite good, a big notch above routine; the service polite and attentive; the seating roomy; and the free chocolate-base peanut brittle on the way out is divine.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent choice of startersExcellent choice of starters and mains. Everything was delicious!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service - perfect forGreat service - perfect for a before theater meal..4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMIt is a very nice place. TheIt is a very nice place. What made this visit so memorable was our waiter, JD. It's always a delight to see someone enjoy their job so much and bring us into the atmosphere. My daughter and I could not believe how quick 2 1/2 hours flew by. We'll be back (was there ever any doubt) and long live the veal parmigiana!!!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful atmosphere! VeryWonderful atmosphere! Very mindful of our theatre time. Our waiter was fantastic and gave great suggestions! My wife ordered her meal and he asked if she liked it spicey? She replied no and he warned her that it was a little spicey but he would have it made special for her so it wouldn't be too spicey and it was delicious! Can't say enough and can't wait to go back.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMNot cheap, but delicious.Delicious and unexpectedly inventive twists on some classics (a deconstructed lasagna, for instance). Everything we ordered was great. Pleasant, unobtrusive service. A bit pricey, but good, quality restaurant.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWas perfect for a date nightWas perfect for a date night with my fiance. Excellent calamari appetizer!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWarm greeting, attentive service,Warm greeting, attentive service, fresh & authentic Italian food.
This is a gem in Times Square especially for lunch!4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMBusy Good FridayI found this on Trip advisor.. We reserved & dined here pre-theatre but arrived @6 vs the suggested 5:30 start time. The restaurant was full and we felt jammed into our table space but i think that is typical here. The ambiance of an old new york eatery was what we came here for and we were not disappointed. There were 6 in our party including 3 teens. We ordered and explained we were heading to a play. We enjoyed our meal including the pasta fagioli soup, caprese salad with fresh made mozzarella, and didn't feel rushed With the meal pace.at the end of the meal, we ordered one more round of drinks which never arrived and we didn't see much of our waiter. We went looking for him and our check. We had to run to the theatre to be on time.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGo early - gets really busyGo early - gets really busy after 6:00 - generous portions - if you have time the strawberry New York Cheese cakee is a must3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMBond 45 is self describedBond 45 is self described as an Italian Steakhouse.. So its menu is more like a short Steakhouse menu that gets at some core Italian offerings like Antipastis and pastas and than a choice of Meats. The mozzerella burrata is outstanding and recommend with any of the few salad dishes they offer. The pasta bolognese was very good, a tasty ragu adorns tagliatelle. While the steaks are quite good, they are not steakhouse good. I got a bone in ribeye and my wife the filet. Enjoyed the ribeye, but have certainly had better given the price. The steaks to me, seemed a good notch below the other great steakhouses in NYC. But overall, Bond is a solid pre theatre choice, the place buzzes and the wait staff does a nice job in getting things done3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMCelebrated my birthday thereCelebrated my birthday there with my husband.
