Service was outstanding! Loved the complementary Bellini and chocolates. Had the Calamari, Stuffed Lobster, creamed Broccoli Rabe and Cheesecake to share for dessert. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend for a special dinner for two or with the family! Booths were so comfy and saw many families celebrating Mother's Day. A nice place to eat and then go right outside and stroll around National Harbor and enjoy the Potomac and the wonderful view. A nice short outing to escape DC for a bit!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWhile a tad overpriced ($47While a tad overpriced ($47 for a strip steak) the food was excellent and service attentive. I'd recommend the prosciutto bar and the fried artichokes. It would be nice if they added a raw bar.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMLocation and scenic view wasLocation and scenic view was great. Outstanding service with excellent review of specials. Steaks were cooked/grilled to perfection. Would highly recommend. Bond 45 would definitely be selected for my next return to National Harbor for dinner5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceI was skeptable about making reservations online, but tried it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised that when we arrived at Bond45 tgey had own names on the list and sat us immediately. Great experience for us5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, good service, goodGood food, good service, good view (if you get to sit by the window). A bit pricey, but probably worth it for special occasions.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for a customerGreat place for a customer dinner. A tad pricy but no more then what you would expect in the DC area.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMtasty varietyGood food, and good wine. The wait staff could offer honest suggestions and really helped to guide our choices.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was fabulous, theThe food was fabulous, the service was perfect, overall a great experience!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat timeOn 4/19/2013, we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Bond 45. It was pricey but fantastic, worth every penny! You will not be disappointed.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMI needed a business dinnerI needed a business dinner location for a one-on-one business engagement in an area I wasn't familiar with. Bond 45 fit the bill, excellent food, a moderately quiet booth where we could discuss without interruption and without near-by diners listening in.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent business entertainmentExcellent business entertainment venue! Great value! Excellent food and experience. Fabulous service.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat!Went here for my anniversary and it was so great!! The amount of food you get is more than enough and the taste will leave you speechless, its so good! The food is a little pricey but for good reason. I will definately be back!4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service plus outstandingExcellent service plus outstanding menu selection for dinner and occasions4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic food, great service,Fantastic food, great service, wine list was adequate.
The only miss were the tables. We sat outside and the tables were too small and the chairs were uncomfortable. That being said definitely plan to visit this restaurant again.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMImprovement for online reservationsWhile I enjoed my visit I felt the staff should do a better job at printing out the reservation list during the evening. I was not gted at the door in a manner accostomed and the list provided was with reservations at 4pm. In other wards no on checked to update the list and as such I had no reservation and was treated as a walk in. The mamanger just passed the buck to the lady in charge of reservations and should have stepped up to ask for my name and check rather than go along with the excuse that it was ok they were not busy. I use Open table because I want to feel special when I arrive not as a walk in without any reservaton4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic food, with the bestFantastic food, with the best steaks anywhere.
Pricey, but worth it.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFilet was great - Sean (ourFilet was great - Sean (our server) was the best. Porter House Steak was a bit overcooked but everything else was great.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Service!!!Took my wife on a date night. Delicious food and excellent customer service. Would of been nice if they offered a military discount or if we had a view of the harbor. Spent $240 (including tip) on a dinner for two. Would consider going back if they offered a military discount like most restaurants on the harbor. However, most likely will spend that money on a different fancy restaurant. If you want to have a delicious meal and enjoy excellent customer service, this restaurant is for you.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMSEE YA NEXT TIMEHAD A VERY VERY NICE DINNER AT BOND 45, HAVE YOUR CHECK BOOK READY BECAUSE IT WILL COST YOU BUT HEY GOOD MEALS DO COST MOST OF THE TIME.... STUFFED LOBSTER WAS EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent meal and atmosphereWe thoroughly enjoyed our steaks, mozzarella salads and sides. The Veal Parmigiana chop was huge: pounded flat and served parmigiana style. broccoli rabe side is really creamed broccoli, but very tasty. Wine list was small, but had some good wines and some value. Steaks were a couple dollars overpriced, but no biggie. Service (Ty) was superb, especially since there were two banquets of 100 and 50 people at the restaurant. Unique number of bon-in cuts; I had the Filet and colleagues had the Ribeye. Mozzarella was creamy and excellent; it's clearly a specialty of the house. We were on a veranda with great view of National Harbor sunset.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful surprise after beingWonderful surprise after being attracted by the promise of a mozzarella bar. The popover was flaky and so tasty. Waiter suggested adding linguini to the seafood appetizer and this made a spectacular lighter dinner. Can't wait to return.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst Rate Service!Fabulous, fabulous experience! The staff was extraordinarily warm and welcoming. So attentive, too! Particularly with respect to our need for gluten-free choices--they went above and beyond securing information from the chef to accommodate our needs. The meal was scrumptious with no detail overlooked. A terrific value for the quality of the food and beverage, location and service. The asparagus soup was especially memorable! The conservatory was delightful, and we hope to be able to return on a summer evening to enjoy the lights and harbor view.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster Sunday DinnerWe went to dinner on Easter Sunday. I was disappointed that two entrees that I was interested in were sold out. The waiter noted that because it was Easter Sunday they were especially busy and sold out on these two popular entrees. My thought is you know it is going to be busy, why would you not stock up on entrees that are especially popular on one of the busiest days for dinner out of the year. Secondly, we had a 4:30pm reservation which is not terribly late in the day, really no excuse for a restaurant the caliber of Bond 45 to be sold out of not one, but two entrees.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThe steak was excellent andThe steak was excellent and worth the price. The lobster, however, was a little tough (steamed)and would stick to the beef.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall, it was very good.Overall, it was very good. Must have been the atmosphere that night, but it was extremely noisy. The hostess was not at the front, which caused confusion as to whom to ask for seating wait time or reservations. The entrance is not meant for waiting, so as you walk in, it appears to be a club vs a restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, its very nice and the staff was very friendly.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA must try for all steak lovers! My husband and I dined at Bond 45 for our wedding aniversery and we couldn't have been more pleased with the overall service and food. Great ambiance, friendly wait staff and melt in your mouth steaks. Our only compalint would be that when they use the word "generous" portion it really does not fully discribe just how generous your meal is going to be, we had a wonderful lunch the next day.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent and nicelyFood was excellent and nicely presented. They were very kind to our 11 year old daughter, and treated her with great regard3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first visit toThis was our first visit to Bond 45. Greeted at the door with chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven while we waited for our table. The service was very attentive, but we felt a little rushed-plates were taken away too quickly. The bread plate was taken before the meal without asking, even though it was still heaping. Shame, I wanted to try a brioche! They also (unsuccessfully) tried to take the appetizers away with plenty of food remaining, same w/ dinner dishes. The steak was perfect, but frutti di mare is very spicy-worked for me, might not for others. Sides are a nice size, can be shared. The complimentary lemoncello drinks for adults and lemonade/cotton candy for our child was very nice. Overall, a nice experience, good ambiance.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was great, 3 pound lobsterFood was great, 3 pound lobster stuffed with crab was amazing the presentation was very nice.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGo to place @ National HarborBond 45 is the place to eat when at a conference at Gaylord National Harbor. They are always very attentive to customer needs and service is top notch. From the veal, pasta, scallops and lamb that our group ordered, each was perfect. Expect some left overs!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dining experience.Great dining experience. Steak and veal chops were masterfully prepared. Wait staff helpful and energetic.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the mozzarella caprese!Love the mozzarella caprese! My first time at the restaurant. Portions are large and it is pricey, but it's a treat!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe salmon was blacked, theThe salmon was blacked, the best I have ever had in my life. I will never forget this meal. The view was awesome overlooking the harbor, in a special room. The waiter rushed to my every need. What a great memory!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent lunchWent for the restaurant week special lunch - the food was excellent, the lobster bisque was exceptional and even though the menu was limited everyone at our table (4 of us) was happy with their selections. Service was very good (not many diners.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMI went specifically on RestaurantI went specifically on Restaurant week to try it. I had to ask for the restaurant week menu and it was different than what was posted on the website. It was not a good value for restaurant week as everything was in addition to the special price where other restaurants provide a fixed menu but there are options for a full meal without paying extra. The food was tasty, but because of the price, I would not visit again.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThey catered to our largeThey catered to our large party beautifully! Thanks Bond45!!3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMI was looking forward to dinner. While working and staying at the Gaylord I decide to check out Bond 45 just a short walk away. I know it is a steakhouse but I had my mind set on the Lamb Ossobuco Pappardelle. My waiter Roger shared with me all of the delightful specialties on the menu. With that said I began with the Burrata Mozzarella, Prosciutto di Parma, Fresh Mozzarella, Beefsteak Tomatoes. I have to be honest and say it was delicious and I could not finish my appetizer or dinner. This was truly a delightful tasting event.
Next time I will try one of their 28-day dry aged steaks.2/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
