  • "I went there for my 35th birthday dinner on Saturday evening with my family. We had reservations which I had to update a couple times and they were very accommodating. Our server was excellent but unfortunately I do not remember his name. I had the Lobster Mac'n'cheese and it was delicious and I especially loved the presentation so kudos to the chef! The only issue we had was my sister-in-law's steak was ordered at medium temperature but was cooked to well done. The server took care of the issue quickly and within minutes another steak was brought out at the right temperature. We were very pleased and I loved my birthday cotton candy with the ice cream in the middle. Even though it is expensive it's well worth it for a fabulous experience."

  • "Bond45 took amazing care of me and my guest. When I made the reservation I let them know that it was my birthday and that my last name was Bond. As soon as I told the hostess what my reservation was under, she knew who I was and commented on how it's not every day they have a Bond celebrating their birthday there! They brought us complimentary champagne and even a small complimentary dessert with a candle. I can't wait to take other Bonds!"

  • "The service was great, but the food fell a little short. My steak was excellent. My guest's lamb shank was over cooked and not as good as I've had it in the past. The popovers weren't as big as I remember them and a little overcooked as well. They did away with the teapot martinis, which in my opinion gave them a unique edge. I'll still go back, because we always enjoy it there, but they are losing there edge over the competition of the other steak houses."

  • "I'm a foodie and restaurant lover. This place hit all the right spots. I loved how when we first walked in, we were greeted by everyone who worked there as we walked toward our seats. The service was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. And the food was superb. It was really a great experience overall, and I highly recommend it to anyone."

  • "Bond 45 fell short in a lot of area that mean the most especially whether or not we will return for a second and subsequent meals. In this case I would not and here is why: First and foremost was that my wife and I had to send our steaks back for a re-fire due to them not being as ordered. Rating: 3 out of possible 10. Second : sides were not very good either they lacked any taste at all and really fell short also; Rating 2 out of possible 10. Third: waiter was not very attentive and did not make us feel welcome and did not attend to the table to check on possible refills or just see how everything is going. Rating: 2 out of 10 Fourth: The bread was horrible :Rating 1 out of possible 10 Fifth : Hostess was very good Her Rating: 8 out of 10"

  • "We have an amazing time celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday at the restaurant. The service was superb. The crispy shrimp and calamari with cherry peppers appetizer was great. The Filet Mignon was perfectly done and my Main lobster shrimps, manila clams, P.E.I. mussels, peperoncino with a pomodoro sauce was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by our waitress and her colleagues singing the happy birthday while bringing a giant pink cotton candy dessert. It was a fun and delicious evening."

  • "Bond 45 is a nice place. The fare is pretty standard and the quality good. I had a party of 6 and we all had steak and/or lobster. Its not a Chicago or Vegas steakhouse, but still good. The highlight of the evening was our server Noel. It was her first week on the job and no one even knew until she told us! She was professional, attentive and a delight."

  • "This is the only review I have ever written. Bond 45 deserves to be the first. Bond 45 is fantastic. It was my first experience there, and I, as well as my guest, was not disappointed. I surprised my new-in-town friend with Birthday dinner at Bond 45. The staff was impeccable. The food- magnificent. (And I am veggie, so even the sides I enjoyed were worth the review. Seriously. Delicious.) But the real reason for this review is to commend our waiter- David. David is the best server I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Pleasant, knowledgeable, and quietly superior; David was dripping with etiquette and craft. I will request a table in his section when I return. He was that good, ladies and gentlemen."

  • "We hosted another newly engaged couple to celebrate impending nuptials. We enjoyed our dinners a lot, however, the service could have been more present and inviting. For starters, there was no one around to receive us when we arrived and we had to hunt down the hosts. Secondly, we were stashed away on one of the side balcony rooms, on a cold October evening -- and ignored by servers. After 15 minutes, we (again) hunted down someone and asked to move to the main dining area. Things got better from there but the overall experience didn't warrant the (very) high tab for food and wine -- and I doubt that we'll go back to spend another $600!"

  • "The good- easy to get a reservation, David was spot on with his service. Dipping bread was great. The not so good - the food. Four diners . One steak, under. Two pasta dishes, nothing special. One special- Cioppino, salty and most if not all the seafood was overcooked. I can't tell if this was a steakhouse with some italian food, or an Italian restaurant with steaks. Did not bother complaining, too many things wrong. Paid the high price and went to get some ice cream. Other options at the harbor, will be looking elsewhere next time in the area."

  • "Service was way off. Too much or not enough. A WARM bottle of red wine was brought, which we asked to have chilled. Appetizer wasn't split as asked and came WAY too early as the wine wasn't drinkable yet. $18 burger was unremarkable with a side of greens. Don't slam two giant cakes on the table and keep talking about desserts when your diners have already said they just want a cup of coffee. The only decent part of the meal was the wonderful friend I was dining with and the view. Will not come back."

Service was good, almost "too much" in fact, in that it was rather slow for a Friday night at the restaurant, so it seemed we were being constantly checked on and this may have been almost too disruptive for our group which was trying to enjoy a dinner conversation.   • "Bond 45 is a New York restaurant. Food quality is evident of that. Prices are as well. The only thing that was slightly less than perfect was the New York cheesecake. It's not Junior's. It was OK, but not up to New York standards. Overall, I would recommend Bond 45 for virtually any occasion."

The wait staff sang Happy Birthday in Italian & brought a cotton candy "cake" that was a special surprise. Complimentary fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies were served with limencello (which was amazing). Overall it was a great experience and would definitely go back for another special occasion ($$$)."

The waitstaff is attentative and offer great recommendations. I would recommend Bond 45 for an intimate dinner as well as for a small party (less than 10)."

  • "We wanted to go somewhere new, so we tried Bond 45. Overall, it was good, but not great. We were seated at a table overlooking the water and the busy waterfront, so that was nice. The server and other staff were all very friendly, so I'll give them that. I felt like the menu items were just way too expensive for this restaurant. Drinks were so pricey, and the smallest filet (8 oz) was too expensive and came with no sides. You'd have to purchase sides separately, and they were about $12 each on average. Yikes. I feel like we could have gone to Ruths' Chris and had a phenomenal meal for the amount of money we spent here for just an okay meal. We didn't order dessert because nothing really sounded good. I don't know if we'll go back again."

  • "Friends had been so over the top about this restaurant that I had determined to make it a special occasion for the Lovely and Talented Mrs. F. Suffice it to say that due to the character limits of this website a thorough review isn't possible. My wife and daughter both said that my steaks are better then theirs. I humbly agree. Setting was nice. Restaurant layout is weird. I had food service mega paks of foil and plastic staring at me while I ate my dinner. Seafood, lobster was chewy, and most seafood experienced was over cooked. The highlights were the wine, prawn salad and coconut cake and coffee for dessert. We have eaten at Volt in Frederick, MD. We spent less for 2 five flights and a 3 flight and enjoyed it 10 times better."

  • "I took my daughter there for a special occasion....they sat us in a patio room/porch and the chairs were very uncomfortable. We ordered the mozzarella which was recommended and I asked if there was enough to share with 2 and was told it was a big portion....well it was not....I ordered the filet mignon and was not happy at all...it was dry and chewy and very small for the $40 I paid....the waitress was fawning all over another table that got lobster and I felt like we were second fiddle....for spending $150 with no alcohol it was a huge disappointment....would never go back"

  • "My girlfriend was staying at National Harbor and Bond45 was recommended to me by a co-worker. The service was excellent, wine list was not extensive but good selection. I made reservations and just happened to sit a table with spectacular water views, so if you want water views I believe you should request. There is outside dining but this was winter, in the warmer weather the outside dining looks nice. The food was very good, we all had seafood but the steaks looked great. Presentation and service was excellent. I would go back to this resturant. I wish they had valet parking as it was very cold and had to walk from garage to resturant."
