The service is always charming and personable. Will always recommend this place to family and friends visiting the area. The view of the water and sunset is simply spectacular.
We brought our two young children and two of the servers made us feel welcome and less out of place (amongst the regulars, adult crowd). Other recommendations: Lobster Cocktail and Rum Runners. Very busy Friday 25th and even valet parking full, but this was very unusual, shows how popular this is. Great choice of food and excellent waiter service. The Food is wonderful, the atmosphere is fantastic, the Service is perfect, and the view is impeccable. We go there for all special occasions as well as just ordinary lunch and dinner out.. The quality of the food was top notch, even the fruit was really fresh and high quality. The rack of lamb and veal were excellent. Service was very good: unobtrusive, yet everything arrived and and was taken away just at the right intervals. We never had to wait for refills, or look around to get anyone's attention for service. The waitstaff was friendly and professional. As I anticipated, the view was indeed amazing - one of the best waterfront views in the area from ground level. If you are in the area, I highly recommend a stop at this restaurant. It's far from inexpensive, but well worth it for a special date or occasion.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSurprise!!We were a group of 4. Shortly after arriving home(Largo) I became violently ill. I never had been this sick befor. The grouper tasted fine but it sure didn't remain fine. So, Thank you for the extra. Bon Appetit is always a great choice for midday dining on a Sunday -- good for getting a jump on the sun angle and enjoying a great view.. The menu is outstanding and the service was perfect. Always there when you need it but not overbearing. We ate inside due to cooler weather but a large outdoor dining is available with the same views. There is also an outdoor bar area that is separated from the dinng so noise is kept to a minimum when eating. There are multiple romantic tables for two but tables for 10 as well for the larger groups and families. The menu has a great seafood variety along with quality steaks plus daily specials to satisfy every taste. Our waiter was very annoying, distracted, loud and not attentive. The lobster cocktail was heavenly and the louis sauce or whatever it was was out of this world. Yummy!. I had the small filet but it seemed to be tenderized. Unfortunately, the salads were all warm and soggy. Very disappointing. My spouse had the salmon on his salad and he loved it. The warm fresh rolls were crusty and delicious with real butter. The music set the mood and was delightful. Waiter Eman was excellent, knowledgable of menu & suggestions of pairing foods and attentive. Food was superb! The grouper, redfish and lobster dishes were fresh, melt in your mouth and perfectly seasoned and prepared. The spinach salad and cucumber salads flavorable and fresh. Creme brulee with tasty fresh berries and coffee drinks were perfect ending. Atmosphere relaxed and scenic view on a sunny day lovely. We have been to this Resturant on previous visits to Clearwater. On other reviews I do have to agree, that some servers were not friendly, and seemed to be bothered by any special request. Our server was very pleasant, and gave us some recommendations on the menu, the were spot on. The location is very attractive, right next to the marina with a view of the Gulf. Go early for dinner or you will be one of the few guests in the dining room.
